Hyatt Place Harrisonburg

Great location & clean. All facilites were excellent. Breakfast seemed fine, although I didn't eat it but there was plenty of coffee to hand. There are only 4 electric chargers for EV's and you need to pay for the charge, plus the chargers are very slow.

Overall a good hotel. It was clean and new. The staff was friendly and the hotel was nice. A little weird that you don't get breakfast included unless you pay $8 a person but not a big deal as there is a Krispy Kreme super close. Stayed one night while visiting colleges and it was busy. Entrance is a little hard to find in the dark and the pillows need to be firmer but not major complaints.

A wonderful hotel stay experience! I had a great time. It is worth reserving a night stay. The beds are comfy, the modern decor rooms are clean and spacious. They even serve jumbo-baked cookies hot, right out of the oven for $4.00 (inflation, nothing is free anymore, but the air you breath). They even have a great restaurant on the 5th floor with a balcony overlooking the city and mountains!! The unique dining experience is phenomenal!

Oh boy, buckle up for this hotel rollercoaster! 🎢 Let’s dive into this hotel experience that’s as mixed as a bag of trail mix – you know, the kind where you’re excited about the M&Ms but then get a mouthful of raisins. 😄 The guest room? A modern marvel! 🌟 The check-in experience? Let’s just say it was about as exciting as watching paint dry. 😴 Come on, Hyatt! You’re supposed to be the cool kid on the block, not the awkward teenager who can’t give someone directions to their room. And the breakfast? Let’s just say it’s perfect if you think cardboard is a food group. 🥣 But hey, the room’s so nice, I would come back! Just don’t expect me at breakfast - I’ll be living it up at IHOP or J’s Bagels around the corner. Because sometimes, you gotta rebel against sad hotel eggs! 🥚🏃‍♂️

We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past, but were very disappointed this time. When we checked in we were informed that they are now charging $8 per person for breakfast. This, despite the fact, that they are one of the pricier hotels in the area. Although I requested an upper floor room, we were assigned one on the second floor right across from the noisy elevator area. And, as it turned out, also next to dogs in the rooms next to us. Dogs that barked in the evening and in the morning. Fortunately, they were quiet most of the night. The check-in staff were friendly, and the room was clean. It was just the other items that were annoyances.

Just ok. Spent one night. Easy access off the interstate. Friendly staff. Quick check-in. The room was smallish for a deluxe king with a sofa. The pillows were of mediocre quality as was the bed. Bathroom cleanliness was fair. Bath mat was literally a towel that had been cut in half. There was a huge noisy fly in the room that fell into our pillows when we were falling asleep. Breakfast in the morning was $8 - surprising - as breakfast was free at the Hyatt we had just come from in Athens, GA. Harrisonburg is a charming town, we will try to stay in the center of town next time, but this place will suffice if you’re looking for a quick stopover.
