My partner and I had a wonderful time staying at Lily Garden. The room was comfortable and charming, the location perfect for visiting all the sites and restaurants in the area, and we appreciated the privacy to rest up. The provided breakfast was excellent! We definitely will visit here again!

Lily Garden’s upper apartment is truly lovely and welcoming, and the setting is gorgeous. (Loved hearing the occasional frog in the lily pond!) The breakfast provided is generous and it’s nice to be able to eat whenever you choose. It’s clean and comfortable, although I will say that if you have someone in the loft they will need to be nimble; coming down that straight ladder isn’t for the slightly creaky among us. The bed up there is large, though, as is the one in the downstairs main bedroom. Storer college campus is right down the road (nice walk to the historic site of civil rights) and it’s an easy, but a bit farther, downhill walk to the lower town and all of its attractions as well as to the train station. Harper’s Ferry is lovely, and Lily Garden has the perfect atmosphere for immersing in the town.

Great little spot! The bed and breakfast is a great walking distance from the national park and the town. Note it is a significant hill but it was manageable for us. The staff were friendly and the accommodations were well done. We stayed in the Carriage suite which has a second bed up on a loft. Breakfast is provided so you can explore on your own schedule and we appreciated the AC since it was 90 degrees outside when we stayed. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to visit!

This is a nice place located about 20 minutes walk down a long hill from the centre of town by the river. They have 2 units -upstairs and downstairs -with separate entries located near the back of their property on a side street. While it was fairly quiet there , I would hear the train going by and the occasional car at night. I would expect that one would hear the folks upstairs if you were downstairs as well. I stayed in the Trundle suite which is the lower portion. It was small with little storage space for clothes but comfortable . The bed was good and the shower water hot and plentiful. The hosts were very pleasant to deal with. Breakfast which you ordered in advance and stored in your fridge , etc. had good choice. The kitchen was well stocked and had all but a stove. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed two nights in the Trundle Suite. The rooms are compact and have everything you need. Very comfy bed, clean, eclectic furniture. Great idea to provide breakfast ingredients, very generous portions too. The backyard with the lily pond is very pretty and a calming place to sit, there's a sweet garden swing. Lilies, lotus flowers, a fountain. Very very lovely.
