Do better with customer service!!! I was meant to arrive at 22:00 , the fact that I arrived at 02:00 is very leading...I am VERY tired and for me to have to throw a tantrum just to get my room sprayed is ridiculous. I eventually get room spray and you still put up a fight like I'm asking for a lot? Get outta here

I have to say, I was highly disappointed about the service offered for the price charged. First off- the online booking doesn't show all the different options they have of rooms available. But even if they did, for the lowest priced rooms, i understand a lack of basic things such as a dust bin if the room costs $10 but for a $35 price - I don't think offering a dust bin, a towel or even a bottle of water would cost you too much. To top it off, there was no key to lock the door which was almost broken so I literally spent the night watching that door feeling quite unsafe. The unconcerned attitude of the receptionist during check-in ( who lied to me and said I will look for your room key and come give it to you and it never happened) - I would vehemently not recommend. I suggest management take a look into fixing basic services such as these, so not worth it.

Second visit at SWL with the same friend and I was rather disappointed. that standards have decreased . In Mombasa the curtains were dirty there was no dustbin (is that a thing now?) showers sometimes not functioning well. Check out was a dud

We got to know it's a small world lodge because our trip around Zimbabwe was organized from Italy togheter with them. The two people travelling with us (Jackson and Melisa) were simply great: they took care of everything and managed all situations in an excellent way; we also had a great time together! During the trip we also stayed two nights at the hostel in Avondale Harare which is clean, confortable and cozy. Same goes for the hostel in Vumba. We absolutely reccomend the hostels and the company. Maita basa to you all!

2nd time staying here and the standards have definitely deteriorated. Staff needs training especially Tinashe, very rude indeed. Shower didn't always work. Our bedroom door didn't lock from the inside.
