The best hotel I have ever stayed in. Room is clean and spacious. Friendliest staff I have ever met, especially Brian who helps me with everything I requested for !!! He arranged tours and transportation to Ha Long Bay, Sapa and Ninh Binh with reasonable price for me. Feel like home when I stayed here. 10/10 would definitely recommend and come back next year. Thank you all !!!

Very helpful staff, good location, near church

The location was great. Near to everything. The Ms.Rose Harry and Mr.Tom receptionist was very kind and helpful.

Check in was easy, and the staff was friendly. The airport shuttle to the hotel was 316000 VND and they even helped me get a car to another hotel near the airport for 300000 VND, which was cheaper than Grab. The location in the Old Quarter is super awesome. The Cathedral is only two blocks away and there are many restaurants, street food vendors, spas, pharmacies, and souvenir shops within a 5 minute walking radius.

Good for a short stay, location is the best part!! Had a late check in but the staff were very friendly :)

飯店位老城區挺方便服務普通，就說了我們有買klook行程，但一直想推銷行程，夜間值班服務人員總是很不耐煩的樣子，一樓的房間，廁所都會有廚房備膳的味道，整體來說不是很滿意。

Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Rose am der Rezeption war sehr hilfsbereit. Die Lage war gut. Das Zimmer war sauber und die Dusche gut. Das Frühstück war vielseitig und lecker.ich würde das Hotel wieder buchen.

Im Oktober 2019 war ich mit einem blinden Gast das erste Mal in diesem Hotel. Inzwischen hat das Management gewechselt und die Qualität und Freundlichkeit sind auf einem Tiefpunkt angelangt. Ein sehr aufdringlicher „Manager“ hat direkt nach unserer Ankunft versucht uns erst einmal diverse Reisen zu verkaufen. Dann wurde uns ein Zimmer einer niedrigeren Kategorie zugewiesen. Erst nach Protesten unsererseits bekamen wir das von uns gebuchte Zimmer. Der Restaurant ist beim Frühstück wesentlich zu klein, so ist es nicht möglich, dass Frühstück in Ruhe zu genießen.

Lovely, clean hotel, staff very helpful when we needed our visas for Cambodia printed. Breakfast here was plentiful and delicious. Salad, ham, cheese, fruit, eggs, bacon, sausages, omelettes and even chips. We booked a room with a balcony, not all rooms have a balcony. Turn left out of the hotel and then right and you will come to st Joseph's cathedral, plenty going on around there but you have to be very careful of all the traffic, it's manic at times. All in all a lovely few days here and we would return

Brian was great help to us by checking us in so late at night (0130). He showed us to our rooms and it was really nice! We booked a king sized bed but got upgraded to a family balcony suite free of charge and the view of central st was amazing! The next morning Brian helped us get booked for a cruise with transportation at a very low cost compared to a Grab. We were already recommended this place by some friends and we would for sure pass down the recommendation to others as well!

Great stay over Christmas period. The hotel put on a Christmas party which was very fun! The staff are lovely and welcoming and tentative to your needs. Ms. Rose was very kind, smiley and happy which made the experience feel very welcoming. Great stay all round.

Wonderful trip Hanoi with my son. Staying at The Splendid Star hotel was a highlight. We were treated so well and enjoyed the rooms and the breakfast. We received help to take day trips and transportation to and from the airport. Both Rose and Brian helped us so much.
