Lage sehr gut - Hotel sauber. Dusche kein Druck - Badewanne rinnt das Wasser daneben. Frühstück schlecht und mussten sogar einmal in ein anderes Hotel gehen. Rezeption freundlich.

Sehr unzufrieden. Ich muss extra bezahlen, um in ein Standardzimmer zu wechseln. Es gibt keinen Aufzug und kein Frühstück wegen Stromausfall. Außerdem muss ich für zwei Flaschen Mineralwasser ohne Frühstück bezahlen. Ich habe viele negative Bewertungen gelesen und es ist wirklich schlecht.

Das Hotel sieht alt aus. Der Geruch im Zimmer war unangenehm (es sah aus wie Durian). Das Frühstück war nicht sehr vielfältig. Der Service war nicht gut. Es gab nur einen Rezeptionisten, der beim Ein- und Auschecken half.

Ich reise viel und übernachte daher in vielen Hotels. Dieses hier ist mit Abstand das schlechteste, in dem ich je übernachtet habe. Fangen wir mit den positiven Aspekten an: Die Lage ist sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind klein und sehr schmutzig, und die Ausstattung ist schlecht. Ich war vier Tage dort und hatte das Glück, um 7 Uhr morgens von Bohrgeräuschen geweckt zu werden, da auf jeder Etage des Hotels Bauarbeiten durchgeführt wurden. Unser Zimmerschlüssel funktionierte nicht, sodass ich jedes Mal 30 Minuten verschwendete, wenn ich die Tür öffnete. Das Personal verbringt seine Zeit damit, verärgerte Gäste wegen des Lärms zu beruhigen... Was das Frühstück betrifft: Wenn Sie Zeit sparen und vor allem vermeiden möchten, krank zu werden, vermeiden Sie es, genau wie in diesem Hotel. Es gibt ein Lichtsystem, damit Sie nicht gestört werden oder um das Zimmer vorzubereiten, aber es funktioniert nur, wenn die Karte eingesteckt ist... Wir hatten bei der Buchung einen späten Check-out bis 14 Uhr, aber um 12 Uhr. Sie haben uns rausgeschmissen und wollten einen Aufpreis von uns verlangen, weil die Zimmer nicht gemacht waren ... was lächerlich ist, wenn man bedenkt, dass das Zimmer in vier Tagen nicht einmal gemacht wurde ... Kurz gesagt: Lauft weg, lauft weg, lauft um jeden Preis aus diesem Hotel, das weder seine Kunden noch seine Verpflichtungen respektiert. Vom Manager will ich gar nicht erst reden, weil er nicht mit seinen Kunden reden will.

Das Zimmer ist sauber, aber vielleicht etwas klein. Die Möbel sind sauber und vollständig. Die Matratze ist weich und bequem. Es gibt eine Bar auf dem Dach, gute Atmosphäre, das Hotel liegt in der Nähe der Fußgängerzone, des Marktes und des Sees.

Schlechter Service und stinkende Zimmer. Die Bettwäsche und Decken fühlen sich unsauber an. Besonders eine Rezeptionistin hat eine wirklich schlechte Serviceeinstellung. Sie zeigt eine Haltung gegenüber Kunden, obwohl es vorher nie Feindseligkeit gab.

It’s not even 2 stars hotel, trip didn’t helped me! Trip left me without any help in dirty, old, broken hotel, the hotel is old and everything is broken and old and not clean. The breakfast os so poor. The supervisor is rude . Only two things were good, location and staff

/!\ Avoid this hotel. We would never recommend this hotel for your stay in Hanoi. Stayed 18-20 April 2025: 3 days, 2 nights. 1/ Overbooking situation - cancellation the day before landing My friend and I booked two separate rooms to stay at this hotel, the day before the check in, my friend's booking got cancelled by the hotel without information. We had contacted the hotel several times in vain, then it was confirmed that they have overbooked the hotel which caused to trouble to start with our holiday. Hotel Director of sales M. Victor N. did replied by email on the checking day 18/4 few hours before that "we don't know the fact. You can make your reservation on our website now." The remaining option on 18/4 morning was a "suite" 14 times higher rate than our initial booking... Therefore once arrived at Hanoi, we wanted to get a refund of my remaining booking but the hotel reception lady Mrs Ruby was not helpful at first and rude towards us. Her non hospitality professionalism and communication led us feel very unwelcomed (no smile, no thank you, speaking vietnamese with her colleague in front of us). May need to review if she really should stay at the reception as this is client facing interaction and should be solution driven. She strictly insisted that she doesn't know why we only got one room left and my booking was non refundable even tough they did cancelled my friend's one few hours ago. After negotiation, she kept saying as it is non refundable, either we stay, either we book another room. At that moment, there was an another room not the Suite one that just got available "King room" and if we could pay the price difference which is higher than our initial paid booking and need to stay together in the same room. As we just started the holidays and to not loose the money that we could not get refunded, we paid the difference to change to that room. We paid in cash to get that room. We thought that was going to be just one off issue/misunderstanding and could start our holidays. Note: If you pay in credit card they will charge 3% additional. The exchange rate is more convenient to change at jewelry gold shop in Hàng Bac street (5 mins walk), the rate at the hotel is too high, don't change there. 2/ Cleanliness As we got this better king's room with window, we were expecting that to be at least clean and suitable for 2 pax. The bed sheets and cushions were yellowish, the floor was not vacuum (dead bees staying there whole stay), the slippers are dirty, the wall is stained and some unfinished renovation. The worst is the shower/bathtub, once you shower, it will flood to the room, we had to put towels to absorb the water in the room. You have to ask for towels if they clean your room as they will forget. 3/ Breakfast Be aware that it is from 6:30am to 9:30am, the breakfast is correct as a mini buffet Overall this hotel is average, the positive points are the location and the other gentleman receptionist allowing us to have a "late check out" at noon instead of 11am, as if after noon they will charge one night more. The hotel should stop with overbooking rooms that will cause unnecessary stress situation for everyone and need to be renovated. To be honest, you can have much more great options nearby, CLEAN and with great hospitality service. As part of holidays and for a decent price, just book another hotel to avoid negative start for your holidays. Enjoy your stay in Hanoi and in Vietnam! PS: on some platform it is indicated there is a gym but there is none. And the hotel team is aware of these comments as we filled the same to their paper review form.

The location was brilliant, stones throw away from all the shops and key tourist spots. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean

Victor Metropolis hotel & rooftop bar is one of Top hotel in Hanoi city with wonderful service, lovely decoration - modern room, perfect location, nice rooftop bar & restaurant. BOOK IT.

The location of Victor Metropolis Hotel was indeed convenient. The reception staff was also very friendly and helpful. They were very well-mannered and would offer assistance whenever required. The hotel is around 9 storeys high, with a roof top bar at the 10th floor. The room is relatively small, especially the toilet, with a bathtub shower area (that can make it very slippery to go in and out for kids/older folks). Sufficient amenities (such as soap/tooth brush) etc were provided, but be prepared that the quality might not be the best. Also, do note that there isn’t a lot of socket plugs available for charging. You have to unplug either a bedside lamp or another appliances to charge your own device. Overall experience was alright for the price offered!

Location was excellent. Room was small no wind just u feel that u are in your grave. The owner of the hotel ordered his reception employees to ask most of the customer staying in the hotel to give the hotel full marks in hotel reviews
