Die beste Unterkunft für uns in ganz Sri Lanka, nachdem wir nun zwei Urlaube in diesem Land verbracht haben. Alles neu, alles perfekt sauber, bis ins letzte Detail wunderschön eingerichtet. Die Betten sind sehr gemütlich und groß, das Bad ist einfach ein Traum. Lali, seine Familie und alle Mitarbeiter sind Gastgeber, wie man es sich nur wünschen kann: extrem freundlich, umsorgend, hat uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt, alles organisiert wie Ausflüge, Transport etc. und uns jeden Tag mit Köstlichkeiten Sri Lanka’s überrascht. Tee gibt es jederzeit, das Frühstück und Abendessen sind extrem lecker. Die Aussicht auf die Lagune vom Balkon aus ist atemberaubend und man hört dahinter das Meer brausen, während man Affen und Papageien auf dem Grundstück beobachten kann. Kanus sind jederzeit für eine Tour kostenlos verfügbar. Auch fur einen längeren Aufenthalt sehr empfehlenswert: von Schildkröten-Nachtwanderung, Bird Watching Tour, Strand-Hopping mit dem Scooter, Surfen und Tempelbesuch ist alles von hier gut erreichbar. Lali und seine Frau Pushba haben uns sogar gezeigt, wie man einige einheimische Gerichte zubereitet :) Wir werden es hier und Lali sehr vermissen!

A absolute hidden gem and our best accomodation in Sri Lanka! The rooms were really spacious and very very clean. The family who ownes the hotel are so welcoming and will do everything to make your stay pleasant. When we were laying by the pool they brought us coconuts to drink from and showed us the animals around the property. The food is absolutely amazing aswell! I would really recommend staying here if you go to Sri Lanka!

The room is very good and clean. And we can see the lagoon view from our room. And the food is very delicious and healthy. We can eat many Sri Lanka fruits in the every morning. And their garden also good. There are some vegetables and fruits in there. And animals and birds also. It’s was very comfortable. We can go to safari in uladawa and ride on the boat in the lagoon. Every staff is very kindly and anytime they can help us. Everything is very good . We are very enjoying and relaxing in this hotel. Thank you so much for everything. I want to stay there again.

Lovely and calm place on the coast with lagoon. Possible to cayak there and see many birds, fisherman who catch the seafood in the morning. Very tasty breakfasts and dinners made and served with love. The manager Lalith is very hard working and friendly man with long experience in hotel runnings and knows how to make the stay beautiful incl. surprise with coconut water served by the swimming pool. Rooms are unique each of them and very comfortable bed. If necessary, he can arrange the transports and ayurvedic treatment on the place.

I have travelled in Sri Lanka 3 weeks and I can say this was the most valuable accomodation. The manager Lalit was so helpful and very kind. Ready to fulfill all our expectations. The rooms very nice decorated and the furniture was wooden and the very high quality. I loved cayaking each morning just in front of appartement in lagoon and the best breakfast ever. I would recommend to everyone to arrive and enjoy sounds of birds living in lagoon.

Our group of 24 did not stay overnight but had a delicious lunch. Prawns and crayfish plus fish where the main elements. The place is beautiful, being set on a lagoon. I enjoyed watching sea eagles and lace monitor lizards. We had a brief look at the accommodation that also seemed top class. Staff serving us at lunch were attentive and smiling. Highly recommended.

Wonderful lunch , great SL hospitality. Our tour group stopped at this boutique resort for lunch. It was a friendly resort. The rooms ware well appointed. We watched birds, monitors, and even a snake , while resting in the shade listening to a local band playing music. Lunch was crayfish, prawns bbq fish - all delicious. While this resort is off the beaten track , it is a restful place to escape to for a few days.

Arrived on 3/2/24 to this little gem of a place and was greeted by very welcoming staff who offered cold flannels and a cool drink to refresh after our long flight from the uk. Even though it was 7am our villas were ready for us and we were surprised how beautiful they were-colonial style, very spacious and spotlessly clean. The hotel is set upon a lake with a variety of wildlife and lush vegetation around it. With free kayak and bike hire and a lovely little pool area it was the perfect place to unwind for a couple of days before the start of our first backpacking experience.

I would definitely recommend this place, especially for people who like to get away from mainstream tourism and at the same time enjoy the excellent living conditions. The place is located right next to a lagoon with lots of birds, very chilled out and relaxing vibes. The price to quality ratio is excellent, the rooms are very nice, comfortable, clean and modern. The service also deserves a specjał praise - everyone is very friendly and helpful ( special shout out to the owner and Salinde!)- they will help you with everything you might need. We arrived at the hotel without booking in advance- after a short while we had a room ready, tasty food on the table and a scooter which was arranged by the staff. I would also add that we were heading back to the airport from this location and were not completely sure of the person we were travelling with. The hotel owner spoke to the driver, took his phone number and called us after a while to check that everything was OK. Trust me - you will have a nice time here !
