Let's start with the positives. The rooms at the hotel were undeniably great. They were spacious, well-designed, and offered a comfortable ambiance. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the room decor, making it a pleasant space to relax after a long day of exploring the area. The hotel's breakfast selection was another highlight of my stay. There was a good variety of options, and the quality of the food was quite impressive. Starting my day with a satisfying breakfast definitely set a positive tone for my daily adventures. Though the overall service at the hotel was just okay, there was one staff member who stood out and made a significant difference in my stay - Kitty. Kitty's exceptional assistance and attentiveness were truly commendable. She went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed and provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining options. However, there were some glaring issues that affected my experience. First and foremost, the Wi-Fi connection was terrible. As a traveler, having reliable internet access is essential for staying connected and planning daily activities. Unfortunately, the unreliable Wi-Fi at the hotel made this difficult, and it was quite frustrating. Additionally, the swimming pool was a letdown. Despite appearing beautiful in the pictures, it was actually dirty during my stay. I was looking forward to relaxing by the poolside, but the unclean water made it an unappealing option. Furthermore, the location of the hotel was a significant drawback. It was far from most of the popular attractions and amenities, making it inconvenient and time-consuming to travel to places of interest. I found myself spending more time commuting than enjoying the destination itself. On the culinary front, while there was a restaurant called ”China First,” the food was indeed excellent. However, I can't overlook the fact that it was expensive, and overall, the hotel felt overpriced for the amenities and services provided.

My final stay was at the Mercure Haikou City Center. I booked a Deluxe room, which was clean and functional. The staff were friendly and even helped us check out from the previous hotel. The location was excellent, with easy access to parks and malls. The room came with a bidet, which was a nice touch, and the bed was comfortable. However, the air conditioner was weak, and since we couldn’t open the window fully, we had to sleep without blankets. Overall, for the price and space, I can’t complain. It’s a great hotel for city explorers who just need a place to bathe and sleep. There are plenty of food and shopping options within walking distance, and you can easily rent a bicycle to explore Evergreen Park, Century Park, and even Qilou Old Street.

Die Hotelumgebung ist sehr gut, insbesondere die beiden Servicemitarbeiter Xiao Tang und Xiao Deng sind sehr nett, geduldig und sorgfältig. Dies ist mein zweiter Aufenthalt hier und ich werde beim nächsten Mal wiederkommen.

Couple travelling with family members (old and young). Location was good, there were 3 shopping mall by foot. One of the mall has a huge supermarket which we loved. Room decor was simple and nice. However room makeup seems to only include tidying up the bed and replenishing toilet items like toothbrush, shower cap. Used cups and utensils were not cleaned / cleared away for new set. Coffee stain on table was still there after room makeup. There were gift vouchers upon room booking but only redeemable with WeChat which we do not have, and vouchers cannot redeem with Alipay, so we had to forgo rmb 4000 voucher for use at duty free shop and rmb 200 drink voucher. May explore other hotels nearby for future stay.

Die Kellner sind nett und enthusiastisch. Ich bestellte das hainanesische Hühnchen-Reis-Mittagessen im Hotelrestaurant, aber es gab kein Abendessen, also bestellte ich etwas zum Mitnehmen, das von einem Roboter geliefert wurde. Das Hotel ist klein, liegt zur Straße und ist praktisch für Reisen.

Der Chef ist besonders enthusiastisch, jederzeit, wenn er sich traf, lächelt er und sagt ～ Wir kommen zuvor, um die Gepäckstücke auf der Rezeption zu setzen, und das Zimmer ist fertig, und der Chef ruft an, wenn er es fertig macht. Das Zimmer ist sauber und sauber, die intelligenten Einrichtungen sind sehr benutzerfreundlich und die Eltern in der Familie sind sehr zufrieden! Die Lage des Hotels ist auch sehr gut. Sie können in zehn Minuten auf die alte Straße fahren. Es ist sehr bequem zu essen und Verkehr in der Umgebung. Sie müssen auch in vielen Attraktionen fahren und zehn Stück ～ Sehr zufrieden 👍

環境很不錯，並不吵鬧，前台安琪小姐姐服務超棒，幫忙延遲退房，而且有需要也會積極迴應，還會很貼心的提供寄存服務；客房乾淨衞生，阿姨幫忙打掃房間，補充用品。性價比也很高，離海大很近，出去玩也很方便

Great location with very helpful staff especially the reception desk who is very keen to help and provide info on places to eat, transportation etc. The double bedded room has curtains between the see through glass toilet and bathroom and bed area which provide some privacy compared to the Family room. Beds are very comfy and clean. One of the double bedded room had smoke smell and when we brough it to the reception desk, they were very prompt and helpful in removing the odour. Highly recommended place to stay for people who don't mind climbing stairs to their rooms.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr komfortabel, das Zimmer war groß, die Ausstattung war komplett und auch die Verkehrsanbindung in der Nähe war sehr praktisch. Es war nur mehr als zehn Minuten von der berühmten Qilou Old Street entfernt! Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich und lecker. Ich werde beim nächsten Mal wiederkommen!
