Les Tipaniers Hotel

Great bungalows by the sea. Private beach snorkelling area. Shops in Haapiti are walking distance. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Some bungalows don't have air conditioning, but the fan kept things cool in our bungalow. I would recommend this as go to place to stay on Moorea

We stayed in one of the lower budget rooms near the reception without AC—we were worried this would make our experience miserable but the fans provided worked great and we had no issues. The staff was friendly and kind, and both the sunrise and sunsets on the beach were incredible. The beach is nice and calm, and would be a great spot for families. This hotel was a great value for our money, and we’d definitely stay here again!

I was worried about hearing other comments but when I stayed at this place, I had good experiences. Receptionist and security were kind and nice. I stayed at this hotel one day but I compared than other place, this hotel was really old bungalow style. It was comfortable. They have a security box, kitchen (gas), refrigerator, a fan (No AC), in a room. Room was clean, but bathroom was little bit old fashion. They don't recommend drinking tap water so we went to buy them near hotel. They have parking lot but hotel side was small. They have bigger parking mountain side. Beach was exceptional.

I didn’t stay at this hotel but used their beachfront kayak rental service. They rentals are extremely reasonably priced (singles: 500 cpf/hr; doubles: 1000 cpf/hr). You can easily reach the Motu Fareone and Motu Tiahura from the beach (about 15-25 min depending on your skill level) and you can reach the ‘secret’ spot where you can swim with the small black tip reef sharks and pink stingrays. A couple of 2hr rentals or are ne 3 hr rental could suffice unless you want to hang around the small beachfronts on the Motu’s. To access park across the hotel (south side of the beltway) and walk along the left edge of the hotel entrance. You’ll find a security guard at the gate. Just tell him you’re there to rent a kayak and you’ll be on your way. Bring your own snorkel and fins or you can rent those too.

I was going to the restaurant for sunset. They charge 15000f ($15) to access the public beach. They tell you it’s public but you have to pay to walk through their property. Very small beach and not worth it. The receptionist tells you the bar will give you 15000 credit to your bar bill. But that was not the case. The whole experience felt dishonest.

The bungalow was sizable, clean, and well-appointed. While there was no air conditioning, the fan made the room comfortable for sleeping. The best is that the beach was just a few steps away, with good snorkeling and a nice restaurant. In addition, the staff was helpful and friendly. One caveat - not sure there is a comfortable chair anywhere. Beach lounge chairs are the plastic legless variety that sit on the ground - a pain for anyone over 50. The chairs in with the room are wooden slats that become uncomfortable after a few minutes. Even the chairs in the bar were so low to the ground, you couldn't see the great lagoon view!

Dont like being told a restaurant on site that only serves dinner doesnt accept credit cards.

First of all I do not like a club med cruise ship on land type of resort I’m going in Moorea French Polynesia to relax and enjoy the ocean and this resort was perfect it was like going back in time and being with the Islanders as friends just great
