The second time of living in Hampton O'hare, shuttle bus is excellent when you wanna to catch up a timed flight

The free breakfast is not a full buffet but a choice of egg and then usually fried potato and beefburger patty or slices of sausage. the rest was tiny yoghurt and bread for toast, or make your own waffles. there is tea coffee and hot chocolate. There was cereal and porridge but sometimes it is made so thin that its not worth eating. There is no tea in the room, just coffee. The machine had a disposable tray but they ran out so I used the same one for 9 days for tea and coffee (i got teabags from the breakfast room). Housekeeping never supplied what you asked for first time, or even second. If you want something and ask at 2pm, you will get it if you chase a couple of times afterwards by 9-10pm. There was also alot of messing about with respect to check out time. I am a member of the loyalty programme which is meant to give you an automatic late checkout. The manager gave it to me but then when I went back to ask about extending it further for a fee, it was clear the other guy behind the counter was on a power trip and the day before started saying I shouldnt have got it and as it was the manager, he wouldnt withdraw it but he could and I should only get an hour and be charged $25/hr after that etc. He was just a mean spiteful man who saw an opportunity to cause worry and distress and he did it. I had luggage to store and it was a late flight so I had to know whether to pack to store it to check out at midday, or 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 (they were messing me about with all times) but this is why I gave a 1 star for service. It is not at all professional but childish and spiteful. I had arranged the extended checkout days before and the day before they were messing me about when I had to pack and had a schedule of things to do? The worst service in any hotel I have ever been in. Hilton is no longer a 5 star experience it seems. 1 star for service.

Das Swissotel Chicago 🏨 ist ein sehr gutes Hotel, praktisch für Reisen, mit Supermärkten, Einkaufszentren großer Marken, den besten Museen, Kunstgalerien, Straßenparks, Starbucks-Cafés, Eisdielen, dem Navy Pier und anderen Kreuzfahrtschiffen, die an Ihnen vorbeifahren Sie können tagsüber und nachts einen Panoramablick auf verschiedene wunderschöne Landschaften genießen.

Insgesamt hatte ich einen guten Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Die Lage war perfekt, in der Nähe von Sehenswürdigkeiten, Supermärkten (Trader Joe’s) und Restaurants. Es war sehr praktisch, mit meiner älteren Mutter zu reisen. Ich habe mich größtenteils sicher gefühlt, bis auf die letzte Nacht, als es gegen 3 Uhr morgens draußen etwas laut wurde. Es gab eine Schlägerei. Während meines viertägigen Aufenthalts wurde mein Zimmer aus irgendeinem Grund nicht gereinigt, aber ich bekam auf Anfrage schnell Wasser, Handtücher usw. Ich kann das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

Die Lage ist gut, geeignet für Geschäftsreisende zu leben. Viele Leute kommen früh und spät zurück, aber nachts kamen sie ins Zimmer, auch keine kostenlose Wasserprobe,

Das Front Desk ist freundlich und geben Sie uns Gutscheine für das Frühstück. Es ist nicht unser erstes Mal hier zu bleiben und es ist immer gut, wieder zu kommen. Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe von ORD und für uns leichter zu kommen. in der Nähe von Einkaufsbereich und Restaurant.

Das Hotel punktet vor allem mit seiner Lage – nur 3 Minuten von der Starbucks Roastery, ca. 15–20 Gehminuten von der Magnificent Mile und in unmittelbarer Nähe zu U-Bahn-Stationen. Allerdings fehlen einige Annehmlichkeiten, die ich für die Sicherheit von Alleinreisenden als notwendig erachte (Zugang zu den verschiedenen Etagen nur mit Zimmerschlüssel und ein Safe). Außerdem stand das Bett im Zimmer so nah an der Tür, dass ich die Aufzugsklingeln und die Gespräche der anderen Gäste auf dem Flur hören konnte. Die Zimmerreinigung war insgesamt gut. Trotzdem klopfte das Reinigungspersonal an die Tür, obwohl ich das „Bitte nicht stören“-Schild angebracht hatte. Insgesamt ein gutes Hotel für einen kurzen Aufenthalt.

The hotel is a typical airport hotel, had a very helpful shuttle driver (Ray) and the other staff interacted with were very friendly and helpful.  Located just offsite from the airport, opposite a shopping mall and had a small selection of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.  Room was clean and had everything needed. Bathroom had good water pressure and provided nice toiletries.  This was a one-night stay prior to flying home from O'Hare and met all needs. 

My Honest Experience After Reading Negative Reviews I was initially quite hesitant to check into this hotel after reading a number of detailed and lengthy negative reviews, especially those highlighting hidden fees and cleanliness issues. However, upon arrival with my partner, I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean and well-decorated, with a modern and cohesive style. Our check-in process was fast and efficient, and the receptionist was friendly and happy to answer all of our questions—especially about the fees mentioned on the hotel’s website. One of the main issues people seem to bring up is the so-called “hidden” fees. In my experience, these fees are not actually hidden—they’re listed on the hotel’s official website. That said, they could definitely be communicated more clearly. It’s important to read the fine print when booking and during check-in. While the fees may not be obvious at first glance, the hotel is legally allowed to include them since they are technically disclosed. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with enough space to hang clothes. There were multiple hangers, and the locker-style closets matched the hotel’s sporty decor. The floor and bathroom were clean overall, though I did spot a spider in the corner of the shower—but nothing alarming. The downstairs common area includes an open kitchen with a communal fridge and even a crockpot, which was a nice surprise. There were also several games available, like ping pong and air hockey, which makes this place family- and couple-friendly. Guests are allowed to enjoy drinks provided in the kitchen. If you’re sensitive to noise, particularly trains, I recommend requesting a room farther down the hall on the first floor. Our room was in a quiet spot—I barely noticed the train, and when I did, it was more like soft white noise. Still, bringing earplugs might help if you’re a light sleeper. Overall, I recommend this hotel. It’s in a nice area, the decor is visually appealing, and the stay was enjoyable. Just be aware of a $120 refundable deposit (if no damage is done to the room) and an additional $50 guest fee. Knowing that ahead of time helps avoid surprises. I’m very grateful for the pleasant stay and would return again.

Es gibt kein Problem mit einem Übernachtungsflug und keine Vorstellungen, weil die Einrichtungen sehr alt sind, und das Frühstück ist die untere Grenze, die Sie in den USA essen können, etwas besser als nicht.
