We loved our two night stay at Sayoosi Hanok in Gyeongju. The owners were very kind and let us move upstairs for the second night so we could enjoy the view. Obviously this meant more cleaning and laundry for them but we weren’t charged extra. The house is a beautiful Hanok building in a neighbourhood of traditional houses (increasingly rare in Korea these days) and it’s extremely comfortable with a big bath, shower etc. There is a fridge and cooking facilities and it’s extremely comfortable as well as elegant and charming. Gyeongju is a fascinating place and I’d highly recommend Sayoosi as your base while there.
