Willkommen und freundliches Personal an der Rezeption. Räumige und saubere moderne Zimmer und Badezimmer. Das Hotel verfügt über eine sehr gute und leckere Auswahl an typischen spanischem Frühstücksgericht, das für diejenigen auswählen kann, die nicht das gesetzte Hotel Frühstücksmenü wollen. Hundfreundliches Hotel und mit separatem Sitzbereich. Das Hotel ist auch in wenigen Minuten Fahrt von einem großen Einkaufszentrum und einem Supermarkt.

My recent stay at Green Nest Hostel left me with mixed feelings. The decision to choose this hostel was primarily driven by its competitive pricing compared to other options in the area, and the presence of free parking and Wi-Fi. On the positive side, the availability of free parking and Wi-Fi was a definite plus, especially after a long drive. However, there was a notable drawback that significantly impacted my stay - the mosquito situation. The room lacked air conditioning, and with a desire for fresh air, I opened the window. Unfortunately, this decision led to an invasion of mosquitoes that made it nearly impossible to sleep comfortably. It's important for future guests to be aware of this issue, especially if staying during warmer months.

Das Hotel mit gutem Aussehen. Parkplatz. freundlicher und freundlicher Empfangsservice. Die großen Zimmer neben dem Badezimmer. Perfekter Zimmerservice. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Es verfügt über ein Café mit Terrasse, Menü und Tagesgerichte. Sehr zu empfehlen.

I was emailed a code to get into the property, there was no one on reception to welcome me. I booked in a hurry and my bad, didnt realise this is a digital property, I have never heard of such a thing. I managed to get into the building, found the room numbering system very confusing, the lovely cleaning man who spoke no English assisted me to my room where we discovered my door code would not open the dorm room door. After ten tries he went and got a card and I managed to open at door. It was at this point that an ungodly stench, reminiscent of a football team locker room after a game, hit me in the face. It was absolutely disgusting. There were five sweaty guys in their marinating in each others stench. It was after midnight, I was exhausted, I went to bed. Immediately in the morning I went to the front desk and asked to be moved, there was a bit of mucking about because the lovely girl there was only admin and had to call someone else who had to call me back...the answer was pretty straight - You booked a share room, deal with it. I asked for a refund and was told No. I took breakfast which was extremely basic. I had to return to the room, opened the curtains and the window as wide as it would go to air the room out. I'd say this place isn't bad unless you have an issue, then you are on your own. The facilities are pretty average. They have only one washing machine and dryer for the entire hostel and the bathrooms on my floor, the toilet was half broken and only one out of two showers had a door that locked. It is quite far from the center of town. To top it off, I had twice emailed the hostel to advise I have a disability and require a bottom bunk and to ask if they have a private fridge where I could store my medication. They never responded and my meds need to be in the fridge, I had no choice but to leave them in the very small and hardly sterile or secure, common room fridge. When I retrieved the bag on the last day, more than half my medicine was missing. Very expensive and much needed medicine. I came away with a six month supply, now reduced to six weeks and I can not afford to replace them. Not a happy camper but what can you do ? I left but hey, it is cheap and you might have a better experience.

Mein Mann war schon öfters im Akelarre- Hotel und auch Restaurant. Das Hotel ist architektonisch sehr schön auch die Zimmer. Wir haben Geschäftsfreunde eine Freude machen wollen, wir fahren jedes Jahr auf eine exklusive Essensreise miteinander. Wir hatten am ersten Abend gleich das Essen im Hotel. Es war eine Enttäuschung auch die Weinbegleitung. Wir kommen viel herum, aber kein Gang war etwas Besonderes, auch bei den Weinen keine Erlebnisse. Leider fühlten sich 2 von uns am nächsten Tag schon nicht mehr gut. Bis am Abend war ich leider so krank, dass mein Mann die Rettung (mit Hilfe der Rezeption - die sehr bemüht war! ) rufen mußte, ich kam ins Krankenhaus - war dort auch die ganze Nacht und bekam mehrere Infusionen - ich hatte eine Lebensmittelvergiftung, auch unserem Freund ging es nicht gut. Nächsten Tag wollten wir sofort nach Hause fliegen. Mein Mann erklärte mehrmals an der Rezeption, dass wir aufgrund des Essens im Haus krank wurden und wir bitten, eine Nacht früher abzureisen. Wir haben keine Entschuldigung verlangt oder Geld zurück vom Essen, wir wollten nur die 3 Zimmer nicht zahlen, da wir abreisen. Aber das Management war beinhart und hat uns die 3 Zimmer voll verrechnet- ich habe einen Minztee aufs Haus bekommen, wie nett. Sowas haben wir noch nie erlebt! Nie mehr wieder!!!

Schönes altes Hotel. Der Ort am Rande eines Industriegebiets ist etwas seltsam, aber ein schöner Park für ihn. Das Zimmer war gut in Ordnung und in Stil eingerichtet und sanitär war ok. Alles war vorhanden. Sie gehen aus dem Hotel so in die Stadt. Wir haben hier auf Empfehlung der Dame am Rezeption gut gegessen, weil das damals nicht möglich war beim Restaurant im Hotel. Wir waren hier 1 Nacht und haben nicht das Frühstück genutzt.

We had an excellent stay in this lovely hotel. Spacious rooms, a beautiful view, great food and wine in the restaurant and most of all an extremely warm welcome from our hosts. This was an ideal stop before the ferry in Bilbao the next morning.
