Wir nahmen am 25. März für 1 Nacht für 3 Personen (2 Erwachsene + 1 Kind) ein und informierten uns, dass die Buchung nicht für 3 Personen, sondern für 2 Erwachsene erfolgte. Wir fanden es merkwürdig, aber was uns am meisten überrascht war, dass wir 25€ für ein extra Bett (EIN WILD GEBRAUCHT UND WEB WEB WEB WEBBEN ERGEBEN 15€ für ein extra Bett. Was war nicht unser Überraschung, dass die Empfangsfrau uns in äußerst arroganter und ohne Persönlichkeit zur öffentlichen Betreuung sagte, dass der Wert nicht in der Buchung steht, sondern dass für das Zimmer, in dem wir waren, nicht 15 €, sondern 25 €, unbegründet, dass der Preis so ist. Er sagt, dass der Preis hier ist und bereit. Wir sind extrem enttäuscht über dieses Hotel und, wir empfehlen uns, dort zu bleiben. Suchen Sie ein anderes Hotel, weil es sehr wünschenswert ist. Was die Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption angeht, vielleicht denken sie an Mitarbeiter, die zumindest wissen, dass sie mit dem Kunden freundlich sind.

Marvellous! When you want a great stay,go to the hotel. It is so much worth it! The staff is solely AMAZING, the breakfast is on point and they have the greatest views ever to the city. They even provide welcome drinks ☺️ we were delighted with our stay.

Nice hotel, very well located in the historic district. There were enough electrical outlets for my husband and I to each use our CPAP machine. For us this detail was very important, because we met on our way hotels that only had one electrical outlet and not next to the bed. We had trouble parking. Nice policemen helped us. Their lunch served at the table is delicious, lots of choice and all you can eat. All the staff at the property are very kind and helpful. Guimaraes will have been one of our most beautiful cities that we have visited in Portugal. Small detail for those who have never been to Europe. If you enter your room and the electricity is not working, look at the entrance to your room (inside the room), there should be a small box, put your room card there and push a bit and the electricity will work. Do not forget to take it back before leaving the room. We discovered this at this hotel. Many hotels operate this way.

Das Hotel Fundador war geschlossen, wir wurden im Hotel nebenan, dem Hotel de Guimarães, untergebracht, das noch der Direktion gehörte. Beide Hotels befinden sich neben dem Bahnhof. Angenehme und einladende Atmosphäre.
