Riverside Inn Guilin Central

Ich habe mich entschieden, während der Feiertage zum Nationalfeiertag nach Guilin zu reisen. Ich habe Ctrip überprüft und ein Hotel in der Kowloon Waterfront Villa in der Nähe des Xiangshan-Parks gebucht. Ich bin am Nachmittag angekommen. Das Hotel hat eine wunderschöne Umgebung und liegt ganz in der Nähe des Xiangshan-Parks, was es praktisch macht zum Reisen. Bei der Auswahl eines Zimmers habe ich mich speziell für dieses Zimmer mit einem großen Balkon mit Blick auf den Fluss entschieden. Das Zimmer war geräumig und komfortabel. Der Hotelmitarbeiter war herzlich und zuvorkommend in seinem Service. Er war sehr rücksichtsvoll und half uns dabei, uns lokale Touristenattraktionen und Fahrpläne vorzustellen.

Very nice hotel. The room was a good size, very clean and comfortable, amenities are great. Location is great, only a 15 minute riverside walk to the Twin Pagodas and food street. Staff were super helpful and friendly, speaking English, suggesting things to do in Guilin city and organising the river cruise down the Li River. I guess they add on a small amount to the price but its definitely worth it - you just meet at reception at 8am and they drive you to the pier and get tickets for you, so it's organised and saves lots of hassle. I can recommend doing the cruise from Guilin down to Yangshou and spending time there/Xingping, very beautiful. They offer breakfast for an extra cost which is convenient for my early start (but local food is better taste and value). Overall very nice place, no faults.

We couldn't recommend the Riverside Inn highly enough! The owner is very kind and speaks perfect English. He was so helpful in supporting us to plan both our time in Guilin and a riverboat trip to Yangshuo. The location is perfect, walkable from the train station, overlooking the river, and close to Elephant Trunk hill. The room was spotlessly clean, large and comfortable. Our room had a great view of the river.

A great place to stay. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms and a very quiet location. East to reach main attractions. In our experience the local restaurants were better and cheaper than those on the main tourist street.

YES points : - close to iconic destination in Guilin - spacious room - owner very kind and helpful to explain about places to visit ^^ NO points : - river view window.. but the river is not as beautiful as expected and window not clean enough to see the view

This hotel can help us for booking Li River Cruise and they pick-up on this hotel too (no need taxi to go the pier). Service was excellent, he help me to buy a sim card

Great hotel in a great location. Walkable from the Guilin (south) train station (although you can ride 1 stop on the bus to cut the distance in half) and on the #100 route to Guilinbei (north) train station. Nicely situated for a walk along the river and the elephant hill park, and easy to catch the #3 bus to Reed Flute Cave. It's about 1km walk from the rest of the town, although if you are feeling lazy there are several bus routes into town. The hotel organised my ticket and transfer to the Guling-＞Yangshuo river cruise. There's no lift in the hotel, which could be an issue for some, but the reception staff insisted on carrying my suitcase up the stairs for me. There's a free washing machine and clothes drying area on the roof of one of the two buildings, with detergent provided. One of the receptionists spoke great English which was very useful booking the cruise, but also was happy to let me practice chatting in Mandarin with him.

Simple and pleasant hotel on the banks of the river, ideal for a stroll. The rooms are clean and large enough. The staff is competent and attentive. The alley that leads to the hotel deserves to be resurfaced because taxis do not go in front of the hotel and the road is harmful for suitcase wheels...Otherwise I recommend this hotel.

Nice small hotel located directly at the waterside. Clean, spacious, good matress, nice host.
