Das Grand Hotel Guayaquil ist ein älteres, gepflegtes und ansprechendes Hotel in guter und zentraler Lage. Im Vergleich mit einigen anderen Häusern in der Umgebung ist das Grand Hotel ein echtes Highlight. Zum internationalen Flughafen sind es, je nach Verkehr, rund 10-15 Minuten mit dem Taxi. Die Etagen im Hotel werden über die Treppe, oder mit drei Fahrstühlen erreicht. Neben dem Pool im Innenbereich gibt auf der einladenden Dachterrasse auch ein Gym. Das bewohnte Zimmer hatte eine Grundfläche von rund 30m², war voll ausgestattet und zeigte zur Straße. Die Gebrauchs- und Renovierungsspuren der älteren Einrichtung halten sich in Grenzen. Ein geräumiges, gefliestes Bad mit Dusche und WC und der mit Teppich ausgelegte Wohn- Schlafbereich stehen dem Gast zur Verfügung. Neben Schreibtisch, Kabel- TV, Tel., Kaffeeautomat, Safe, Kühlschrank, Doppelbett und Stauraum gibt es auch ausreichend Lichtquellen, die im relativ dunklen Zimmer benötigt werden. Der WLAN ist kostenlos und schnell. Die Klimaanlage ist dezentral, uralt und sehr laut, was die Schlafqualität deutlich beeinträchtigt. Der Fz- Lärm auf der Straße spielt im Zusammenhang keine Rolle, da er nachts fast vollständig zum Erliegen kommt. Die Fenster lassen sich vollständig öffnen. Zimmer, Bettwäsche und Handtücher waren stets sauber. Das Frühstück wird in landesüblicher Form im übersichtlichen und sauberen Speiseraum ab 06:00 angeboten. Die warmen und kalten Speisen bieten für jeden Geschmack etwas. Der Umfang des Buffets entspricht den üblichen Erwartungen, die Qualität des Angebots ist sehr gut. Das gesamte Personal war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. An der Rezeption kam es zu keinen Staus, der Check-In und der Check-Out waren problemlos und schnell.

Nice hotel and very good location. In front of Iguana park and cathedral. Employees are very nice and kind. Front desk speaks English (Thanks Evelyn for your patience 😊) which is helpful in Ecuador for French tourists not speaking Spanish! Breakfast is very good and a lot of choice between local and continental food. A special mention to “Mercy”, The room service employee! Room cleaned very well every morning. Her smile and attention makes the day start in the best way. Perfect service ! Merci “Mercy” 😊 We will definitely make a stop here next time we come to Guayaquil !

This hotel is a 5 star all the way !!! Please note that there is the main hotel and the suites next door . We stay in the suites and room has kitchenette , washer and dryer , fridge , microwave , coffee pot , pots pans etc !!! Close to everything and the service here is beyond amazing !!! Room includes a beautiful breakfast buffet every morning . The manager Delores and her team are so organized and nothing ever fall through thr cracks with them ! Sandra the front desk manager and Jose at front desk helped me with all the arrangement's i needed while in Guayaquil !!!! Dont hesitate to book this hotel !!! Shuttle service is included to amd from airport !

Nice modern clean comfortable city hotel. Hotel shuttle was awesome and appreciated. Hotel checkin quick, and front desk staff all helpful and very professional. Breakfast buffet one of the best, with plenty of seating and enormous options. Hotel had ample security and was securely connected to the largest mall in the country. Mall had everything from upscale shopping, to MaxiMarket grocery store. Hotel Restaurant on site very good. Hotel had several nightly entertainment events scheduled. Hotel does have a bar, gym, dry cleaning, pool, mini bar, room service, and everything you expect from a four star hotel. Again, airport shuttle, fantastic breakfast, safety, and great staff made my stay excellent. Highly Recommend

Primero llego me proponen un precio diferente que el escrito en booking osea literalmente debía pagar ( 200000 pesos colombianos osea 55 dólares y pague 70 dólares) después el internet cayo 3 veces en 2 dias que estaba ahí... Ademas me dijeron que el desayuno estaba incluido , y la recepcionista me dijo que no había desayuno des la pandemia lo que no estaba propiamente escrito ! Y lo mas lindo al fin la señora me llamo a las 1 para que me salía del hotel porque tenia que irme a las 12 ... Esta bien yo entiendo que tenia que irme a esa hora pero por todo la decepción que había acumulado hubiera sido mas delicado de esperar un poco !

DasHotel ist gut ausgestattet für Business Reisende sowie auch Touristen. Die Zimmer sind stilvoll eingerichtet und ruhig. Zimmer auf die Flussseite bieten einen tollen Ausblick. Da wir nur kurz dort waren, konnten wir nicht alle Angebote nutzen. Das Frühstück ist reichlich und die Abendkarte bietet auch für jeden Geschmack etwas. Das Personal ist freundlich. Auch die Buchung mit dem Shuttlebus hat geklappt. Alles in Allem ein guter Rundum Service.

Ich bleibe immer bei DC Suites, wenn ich durch Guayaquil reise. Es ist sauber, sicher und wirtschaftlich. Ich mag den sicheren Transport zum und von dem Hotel. Wenn ich in Guayaquil mit dem Bus aus Cuenca oder mit dem Flugzeug ankomme, werden sie mich schnell holen und ein Foto des Fahrers, der mich holen wird, schreiben. Für eine Frau, die allein reist, ist das sehr wichtig.

Um ein Flugzeug zu erwischen, habe ich dieses Hotel gewählt, das sehr nahe am Flughafen liegt, mit guter Anbindung, sowie Schwimmen und Fitness. Der Service ist gut, das Zimmer ist sehr komfortabel und die Toilettenartikel werden geliefert, sobald Sie sie brauchen!
