Ich habe das Weingut mit zwei Freundinnen besichtigt, wir haben eine Führung von der sehr sympathischen Nadia erhalten, die neben englisch und italienisch auch deutsch und französisch sprach. Dann waren wir zum Mittagessen und zur Weinprobe im Restaurant des Castellos. Die Weine haben uns alle drei sehr gut geschmeckt und das Essen war sehr lecker. Es wurde mir auch eine vegetarische Variante geboten. Unser Kellner Brolio war zuvorkommend und stets freundlich und gut gelaunt. Alles in allem ein gelungener Ausflug und der schönste Tag unseres Toskana Urlaubs!! Das Weingut kann ich nur empfehlen!

This hotel is just amazing. Rooms, restaurant, pool, views, wine tour, staff = incredible! It is so relaxing sitting at the pool enjoying the views. Deborah (reception) and Franklin (restaurant) are wonderful staff members who made our stay so special. You must visit when in Tuscany. The restaurant is unreal!

We spend 3 nights in castello Vicchiomaggio, and enjoyed a lot. Buildings and the whole area was uniq, view was something I can't forget. Wine was really superb, as well as the dinner. I love Tuscany. If I Come back to Tuscany, this will be the place, where I'm going to stay.

We spent two days here as part of our honeymoon. It is a very beautiful location and we were truly made feel welcome from the very moment we arrived. Everybody is really friendly and helpful and always available for a little chat. The wine that is made here is very delicious and the food was absolutely amazing. No complaints whatsoever.

A special hotel stay in a castle. Stunning, luxurious room with care taken to provide extra amenities. Beautiful grounds and amazing breakfast. Enjoyed wine tasting and the glorious views of the vineyard and surroundings.

We came here for lunch on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Everything was perfect! The outdoor setting , impeccable . The service was perfect and the food delicious. We had the Florentina steak . A perfect wine tasting lunch in Tuscany.

We've never stayed in a castle before but this was amazing! We felt very safe with all the gates and locks. The view was incredible, and the grounds were beautiful. We loved the wine tasting dinner. Be sure to partake in this! The tour in the vineyard was fun but the Rose' in the courtyard was a fabulous start! The wine and food were delicious. What made the night so memorable was the amazing piano player! He set the mood and the night was a blast! The breakfasts were so inviting and yummy and the staff was attentive. We will definitely stay here again, when we're in the area and will recommend this place to friends for a delightful stay in the Tuscany region.

Our stay here was what we imagined. In the quiet countryside with a gorgeous view of the vineyards and surrounding hills and valleys. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by John Matta, winemaker, checked in with Delfina Matta, the entire staff was outstanding and accommodating. The food and wine here was outstanding, and Franco was a very courteous, friendly, and efficient waiter in the dining room. The winery tour with wine tasting and lunch in the garden was outstanding, and Nadia, our tour guide was awesome. The lunch in the garden and the wine tasting was really well done, and the wait staff was very gracious and informative about the food and wines we were consuming. A bottle of wine from this winery which we had in Boston, Ripa Delle More, gave us this idea for traveling here and celebrating our 50th anniversary. Thanks again to John for making Ripa and many other great wines, and to the entire staff for making our anniversary celebration unforgettable.

We can't say enough about this place. From the front office staff (Deborah) who welcomed us with a great tour. To the breakfast gentleman (Oct 16th) who kept the guests happy. Close to Greve, close to Castello Gabbiano, close to American Cemetary. It truly made for a magical two day stay. The pictures tell a story.
