Proximity Hotel

After living in Greensboro for years I had always wanted to stay at The Proximity and now I’m thankful that this trip back I made our reservations. From check in to check out everything was amazing. We ordered Room Service from Printworks numerous times and the service was wonderful and food delicious. If we come back to Greensboro I will definitely be making reservations here again.

My husband and I stayed here before and after a business trip and the experience was exceptional. We were able to relax and unwind in a well designed, serene setting. I learned about this hotel through interior designers who praised the Proximity, and I can see why. A quiet and cozy lower lobby area with floor to ceiling windows looking out onto greenery and softly lit trees. Very peaceful, with comfy sofas and chairs, and candles lit throughout. The ambiance lends itself to true relaxation. The guest rooms were large and very comfortable, again with large windows and high ceilings, and superior beds. Loved the bathroom with 2 sinks and soaking tub. The service was excellent from beginning to end, including the wonderful Bistro attached to the hotel. We will be back.

Everyone was so helpful and attentive! The hotel was very nice and comfortable. I would bring my own feather pillow next time. The food was delicious! I would definitely go back! The location was great for shopping and just looking about also.

We came from far and wide to celebrate a big birthday for a friend in Greensboro. Starting with Dustin who welcomed us at the front door and Masie at the front desk, our stay was perfect, from the courtesy and hospitality, to the design and appointments of the room, to the helpfulness of wait-staff...we look forward to returning soon.

Was looking to create a special evening for celebrating my wife's birthday, and Proximity Hotel proved to be a great choice, from great cocktails and appetizer in the bar to a wonderful stay in one of their spa rooms. Great experience, great setting, fun evening! Highly recommended.

The rooms are spacious, modern and well appointed. Given the hotel's rating as one of the "greenest" in the U.S. with appropriate additional small touches. Staff is friendly and efficient and Printworks, the hotel restaurant, is first rate.

Wonderful stay for our first time at this boutique property. Located in a business park, it's very quiet in the evenings and weekends, w/o the sounds of traffic going by as at a typical hotel. Not that close to restaurants as a result, but if you value quiet time, this is the place. Building itself is gorgeous with lots of great architectural features. It is a bit industrial looking, as if an old office building was converted to a hotel, so lots of concrete everywhere, but softened with various draperies, carpets and artwork. Elevators were incredibly quick for only having two of them. Service from check-in to check-out by everyone was outstanding w/o being overly in your face, which was very nice. Room had a cool classic vibe, yet with modern touches. Mattress was a tad soft to my liking, but bedding was nice. AC would never turn off, even with auto selected, which was odd, we had to turn the system off/on when we needed it as a result. We had breakfast included in our stay and we did try the Print Bistro on property. What a beautiful restaurant! The service was outstanding from our server and the food was great. Pricing was very modest, with a typical hot breakfast priced at just $13. Higher end options available, you need to try the house made cinnamon rolls or the french toast. We were in town for an annual event and will definitely stay here again next year, we highly recommend this cool place!

We stayed this weekend at the Proximity Hotel and it was so easy. They reached out and we ordered an extra cot for my daughter which was delivered to the room before we got there. The Staff were fantastic... The restaurant was great as well. Very easy stay and will book again!

We had to call late at night to see if there were any rooms available. They had a few left and got us in. Staff was friendly and responsive and the hotel itself is beautiful and the grounds are as well. Top notch hotel. A bit pricey but would stay again in a heartbeat.
