Premier Inn Northampton Bedford Rd/A428

I had a fantastic stay! the rooms were spotless, warm and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly welcoming, especially the lady at the reception. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Northampton for a night or two.

A nice restful hotel that came up to expectation. Whilst the Hungry Horse restaurant was OK for the evening meal the breakfast did disappoint. For price asked for the breakfast I would have expected a, little bit more quality. However it didn't detract to much from the stay. 🤓

This hotel is tired. Definitely not up to usual Premier Inn standard (I’ve stayed in many). Room smelt musty. Poor heating system which “beeps” every few minutes. Depressing reception area. But the absolute WORST part was the affiliated “restaurant” across the car park which I am shocked that Premier Inn continues this affiliation. It was disgusting. Walked into filth. Although quiet (one couple and a table of 4), all the empty tables were full of dirty plates and glasses and the staff were not even bothering to clean up. The carpeted floors were literally covered in food. Chips and other large amounts of food debris smeared into carpets. Staff had their own table where they seemed to just sit around chatting at and on their phones. The person who I assume was the manager was lounging there with his shirt unbuttoned almost to his navel chatting and joking with the staff - it is without doubt the most unprofessional behaviour I have ever seen in any restaurant/pub/cafe. Every surface sticky. Paint peeling off the walls. And that was in the public space - I hate to imagine the state of their kitchens. I could go on, but this gives the gist of it. Premier Inn are letting themselves down by having anything to do with this dodgy establishment.

Hotel was amazing, friendly staff and was happy to help with bags and things to the room, but after a long drive I just wanted to rest, The room was very nice and tidy, what you would expect from a hotel room, the bed being very comfortable Sadly breakfast let this down. Paying for it via my book in. And to be told the coffee machines was not on and they had no coffee only tea to drink, and parts of the things I wanted on my breakfast was not available, it was not a full English!! The continental side of things was very much a let down for people paying for that, Breakfast came out ok other than the bacon being jet black on one side and only tapped on the other for cooking, This was the let down for me knowing I’ll be driving most of the day and a good breakfast would have stopped the need to stop on motorway to get food.

Stayed here for one night. Clean hotel, very handy location just on the outskirts of Northampton. Check in easy, the blonde woman on reception whose name I didn’t get was lovely. My room was one of the new style modern rooms and it was ideal, served its purpose very well for the one night stop over. I would stay again.

Hotel recently modernised. Rooms was very nice, clean and modern. Reception areas was still very dated. I was on the ground floor. Real bad issue with noise transference from upstairs. Was kept awake by booming footsteps from the room above. This started again at 5.30am for two hours. Only place to eat locally was the Hungry Horse pub. Was empty and in need of modernisation. Breakfast was in the same place and was rubbish. A sad stand with the remains of a loaf of stale bread. No butter or clean plates. Smell of sewerage in the restaurant or something unpleasant. Really loud music coming from the kitchen.
