East Rock Inn

Comfortable and clean! A great place to stay for the night if you are going through the area. Check in and check out were virtual and very convenient. We did not see other people during our stay, but were able to arrive late and leave early without issue.

We love East Rock Inn. We just returned from the Berkshires and our second stay at the Inn. We had a great time. The place is very nice, comfortable and clean. The staff is very kind, accommodating and responsive. We have friends a few block away so the Inn is our second home in the Berkshires. Highly recommend this place. We love it!

I was slightly hesitant upon entering the motel area in the evening on a Thursday night as there was only one other car in the parking lot and I was alone with my young daughter to ski the next day. After opening the door to our room, I felt differently. This hotel is extremely clean and new. It is spotless and I have not a single complaint. The keypad entry was easy to use and the obvious cameras on the outside of the motel felt safe. The text message conversation had as a "front desk" situation was helpful and someone was willing to come right away to help with the heat and TV (until I figured out on my own what I was doing wrong). The only complaint is that the parking area was very icy in the morning. Without someone right there on site and us being one of the only two rooms it seemed were occupied, it seemed like this part of the safety was an afterthought. We did go eat in the morning at the nearby and newly opened Cafe Holli which was amazing coffee and crepes and then Skied at Ski Butternut for their special $25 Friday lift tickets. In all it was a great stay and I will definitely stay there again!

This was the perfect spot to relax after a day of skiing! My wife and I visited for 2 nights, and it was perfect! WiFi, tv, and close to downtown Great Barrington! The heat kept us warm during the below freezing temperatures. 10 out of 10 absolutely would recommend!

Communication was great and the place was so clean. Very cool area and loved the vibe. There is a nature trail right across the street. I brought my pup with me and they had all the essentials for him. Great location! Close to restaurants and stores. Loved this place and will be coming back!

There were very few people staying here, so it was extremely quiet. That was nice. The room was clean. We had a king courtyard view. The courtyard is just the grassy area with chairs that surrounds the parking lot, so really, the view is of the parking lot. Our room was small, and we were disappointed that there were no chairs in the room. You had to sit on the bed to put on your shoes. The bathroom was very small, too, but the shower was a nice size. There is no one on site at the inn and no daily housekeeping. They send you a code to access your room. When we needed towels, we just texted to inform them. Towels were replaced in our room. The Chinese restaurant, Koi, is literally next door to the inn. We ate there the first night because it was so easy to walk to. We were surprised that the food was so delicious. There is a fridge and coffee pot in the room, and we drove into town each morning for breakfast. There are several great spots just a few minutes drive away.
