Sehr nettes Personal. Check-in war perfekt. Das Zimmer ist großartig. Sauber, komfortabeles Bett. Lage ist auch perfekt. Direkt zum Einkaufen und Restaurants. Das ganze Hotel ist schön dekoriert. Ich empfehle dieses Hotel sehr, wenn in der Gegend? Das Zoo ist nicht sehr weit.

Ich besuchte hier im Juli für eine Familienversammlung. Meine Besuche hier waren schrecklich. Zuerst ging ich, als ich zum Hotel kam, es war wie 3 Uhr. Ich bat um ein Zimmer und bezahlte. Als ich ins Zimmer kam, bemerkte ich einen sauren Geruch. Ich dachte, es sei aus dem Teppich, so dass ich meinem Sohn gesagt habe, etwas auf seinen Füßen zu halten. Nachdem ich mich auf den Bett gehen bereit war, mein Freund, der mit mir war, begann, verschiedene Probleme mit dem Zimmer zu finden. Ich ging zur Schule für Gastfreundschaft, so dass das Problem mich ins Haus zu fahren, um zu halten. Was ich fand war schrecklich. Es gab Schmutz in der Heißröhre und ich meine Schmutz in der Mitte der Heißröhre, was bedeutet, dass das Zimmer nicht sauber geworden ist oder nicht richtig gereinigt wurde. Dann ziehen ich die Blätter zurück. Es gibt Farben und andere Dinge auf der Matratze selbst. Ich weiß, ich hätte es dann gemeldet, aber wir waren so müde, dass wir gerade auf dem Komfortschrank schlafen, der auf dem Bett war. Am nächsten Morgen liefen wir in die Reinigungsmannschaft und baten sie, unser Zimmer zu reinigen. Als wir zurück von unserer Funktion zurückkehrten, prüften wir das Zimmer und nichts wurde getan. Der Scher auf dem Bett wurde gerade auf die andere Seite gedreht. Ich habe der Empfänger über die Situation erzählt und sie sagte, wir hätten ihr sagen sollen, aber auf jeden Fall hätte das Zimmer nie in dieser Situation gewesen sein sollen. Ich versuchte, mein Geld zurückzuholen, aber das Unternehmen hat nichts getan. Auch der Empfänger sagte uns, dass es eine Geldstrafe für Rauchen im Zimmer gibt, aber fragte, ob wir rauchen könnten wir die Geldstrafe zahlen, damit wir rauchen könnten. FYI wir rauchen nicht, aber das war unprofessionell. Auch der Empfänger und ihre Tochter sah sich hoch. Auch das Hotel sieht aus wie Menschen dort wirklich leben es ist nur ein Mist und weil es in Siler Stadt ist ich ziemlich sicher, es wird übersehen. Ich habe Fotos zu gehen mit dieser Bewertung. Ich blieb hier einmal vor und das Zimmer war nicht so. Also idk was war auf diesem Besuch

I have stayed in this hotel many times over the past decade and a half, primarily because it was the only one close to my client’s business. For all those years, the staff have always been quite nice but the hotel itself did not have much to commend it. It was dingy, often in need of painting, not at all attractive. It was a place to sleep and shower. It had deteriorated during the pandemic to the degree that the client recommended we stay up the road about 40 minutes. But since 2018, when last I was here, and now, there have been significant improvements and the hotel is now much more attractive. The staff are as polite and friendly as ever – that has never changed. The reservation was in order. So, what do I look for in a hotel? Is it safe? Is it reasonably clean? Is the water pressure good? Can you get a good night’s sleep? Does the air conditioning work well? Does the internet work well? I can say that for this hotel, all these are true, but added to this, is has been renovated, with new floors (no carpet), repainted surfaces, and new room fixtures. The room looks good – if you don’t look too close. Some of the fine points were not done well or overlooked but nonetheless, it is brighter, more welcoming and has a cleaner appearance. As far as safety, I have always felt safe as to my person and my car and the police make their way through the parking lot in this small town from time to time, keeping an eye on things. The room was relatively clean – some attention could be paid to out-of-the-way places and corners, but all in all, it was clean enough. The water pressure was the best I’ve had in any hotel in a long time. As a matter of fact, I intended to record the name of the company that provided the shower head to consider for my home. The air conditioning worked well – when we arrived, it was not turned on and the room was warm, but it worked well though the compressor cuts on and off quite noticeably and frequently. It took a white noise fan to cover the noise change that would have kept me up otherwise. I slept well; one of my colleagues staying in another room had trouble with a loud car that was cranked up and left running and rumbled loudly outside one morning. I never heard it – white noise fan, you know. The internet was a little difficult to connect, but I was able to make it happen and once connected, it worked well. We did not receive a visit from the maid one day of our mult-day stay, but after that she came through every day. The only complaints I could have are that the cleanliness was uneven, and there is a ridge on the floor between the room and bathroom/shower and you can stub your toe on this – that is one thing that that was not revised in the renovation. One good thing, the bathroom/shower are separate from the sink and the very big counter and mirror, so one person can be working at the sink at the same time another is showering, and both can stand at the counter at the same time. I booked a room (King Suite) through an online hotel booking site, for two nights for myself, my wife and my 1 year old daughter. We came to Asheboro to visit the NC Zoo. First, when we arrived we were met by the front desk having a note stating they were assisting a guest and would be back soon...fast forward 20 or so minutes later and we were met by a front desk worker. She was actually quite pleasant to deal with and gave us a first floor room. First, the keys didn't work but that was an easy fix. When we entered the room, it smelled. Plain and simple. It wasn't ”filty” per se but it was definitely worn and out dated. Nothing would shout to me as being CLEAN. However, it was adequate except for the occasional cigarette (possibly?) burn marks in the walls / above fireplace. We stayed one night and then left for the zoo. We decided the size of the bed was not conducive for a heavy snoring wife (sorry) and a light sleeping husband, so I stated I would use the sofa bed. This was the mistake that unraveled this trip. I pulled off the two cushions and found a Walgreens bag between them and the bed. I thought it could be ours because we went to Walgreens to get some toiletries. However, when I opened the bag I quickly realized it wasn't ours. Inside the bag was remnants of hollowed out cigars and at least six needle syringes. They included used alcohol wipes with blood on them. Being a police officer of 15 years and one that has personally investigated narcotics cases, I immediately was disgusted. I immediately told my wife to pack up and went to the front desk and confronted them about this. They offered me a refund for my stay which I gladly took and I left. I would never stay there EVER AGAIN. The reviews on various websites show you it is not a good hotel. I would not recommend this as a stay and only went there because it was part of the hidden rate for a popular booking site (whereas we couldn't see name or reviews but could see an 8.8/10 rating) however, after booking the non-refundable room we looked at the reviews and for the first 3 pages it was all 1 star reviews...not sure how one can have an 8.8 rating with so many bad reviews. The good: Well it was close to a lot.... The breakfast wasn't too bad..it was very basic and when we got there everything was already gone in terms of hot food and we went at 7 (opens at 6). So we waited 30 or so minutes to get that replenished. I will say the front desk lady was quite accommodating and nice throughout this. She gave us a room on lower level due to having a young child. She offered us cookies on arrival and was pleasant to deal with. She was the bright side to this trip. Again, do yourself a favor and go a couple blocks up to much better and cleaner hotels. The one we ultimately went to after checking out of here was 1,000,000X better and cleaner and was maybe $20 more.
