2-Sterne-Hotels in Granada

Es ist ein Doppelbettzimmer, aber die Tür öffnet sich, sobald sie sichtbar ist, ist etwas überrascht, zu klein und immer noch im ersten Stock, und es beginnt ein wenig Sorgen um Sicherheit und Privatsphäre zu machen, und später ist die Nacht noch ruhig. Wenn die Gepäcktasche geöffnet ist, kann ich nicht gehen. Ich bin eine Nacht lang geblieben. Der Rezeptiondienst ist OK. Das Hotel ist sehr bequem von der Autobahn.

Der Aufenthalt im Hotel war sehr nett, sowohl für das Personal als auch für die Einrichtungen und ihre Lage. Das Personal war sehr nett und informierte uns gut über den gesamten Service, den sie bezahlen. Im Verhältnis Qualität/Preis ist ziemlich gut angepasst. Das Zimmer war sauber, heiß und alles funktionierte richtig. Der einzige Fehler war, dass das Wasser in der Dusche ein wenig gefiltert und ein wenig gehängt wurde. Es musste vorsichtig gehen, dass es nicht überfließt. Wir zahlen keine Mahlzeiten, aber Ihren Service verfügt über eine Gemeinschaftsküche mit Kaffee, Tee und kostenlosen Getränken. Schließlich befindet sich das Hotel in der Mitte der Stadt, in der Nähe aller wichtigen Denkmäler. Ich empfehle es 100%, wenn du etwas Gutes und billiges suchst.

Das Hotel liegt in einer zentrumsnahen Altstadtgasse. Die Alhambra ist über die Plaza Nueva zu Fuß perfekt in 30 Minuten zu erreichen. die Zimmer sind modern und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, das leckere Frühstück wird in der benachbarten Bar serviert. Parkhäuser findet man im Umkreis von 150 m . Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und würden es weiter empfehlen.

Things didn’t get off to a good start when our taxi driver drove us to the wrong Macia Hotel in Grenada. There are a few of them, so double check that your taxi driver verifies the address (and not just the hotel name). Being dropped off at the wrong hotel left us with story to tell and a couple fewer Euros for the second cab ride. Not the end of the world, though. And heck, we’re on vacation! The Hotel Macia Plaza is in the historic section of Grenada, facing a large plaza. The plaza features al fresco restaurants, and during our two say stay, impromptu parades and three different pairs of flamenco dancers! The area was wonderful for walking in all directions. We older folk took a five-minute, inexpensive taxi up to the Alhambra. After our Alhambra tour, we walked back to the hotel along a beautiful pedestrian walkway surrounded by a green forest and beautiful spring flowers. Our rooms (we had two) were disappointing. While clean, the rooms were very plain and tired. They lacked sufficient electrical outlets to plug in the tea kettle without unplugging the television. The front desk staff, however, was consistently helpful. Perhaps a reason the stay here is all the fun activity in the plaza. Certainly the price point was reasonable. Just don’t expect the Four Seasons.

Nos sorprendió gratamente ya que las puntuaciones que veíamos eran bastante bajas. La habitación era perfecta para dormir, colchón y almohadas muy cómodas. Baño pequeño pero suficiente. En realidad si vas a Granada es para pasar el día visitando puntos turísticos y el hotel lo quieres para dormir. Y por el precio que tiene nos sorprendió mucho. La terraza estaba de reforma, pero tenían una en la calle donde el desayuno es muy barato, y durante el día, al estar allí alojado, te hacen 2x1. Solicitamos una cama doble al ir en pareja y ser nuestro aniversario, y nos satisfacieron en ese sentido. Pudimos pasar un aniversario increíble. Dar las gracias al hombre de recepción que atendió mi llamada ya que fue super amable conmigo. Y al llegar a la habitación habían tenido un detalle con nosotros en la cama. (Adjunto foto) Si lo que quieres es no gastar mucho dinero y vas de turisteo por Granada, 100% recomendable tanto el hotel como el personal. Si volvemos a ir, por su ubicación volveremos a este hotel. ¡¡¡Gracias a todo el equipo!!!

As others have said Antonio and his brother that run the place are warm, welcoming and super helpful. We drastically changed our check in time and he was kind enough to accommodate us. We also used them for the pickup from the airport which was very helpful and 30 euro for my wife and I. I think that’s a good price for the distance from the airport and the convenience as well. The place is so charming and magical, with an incredible view of Alhambra that changes every hour of the day and night. We stayed in the “Persia” room, the double superior. It had a deep bathtub, a separate walk in shower. It also has French doors that open to a small step out balcony. Staying up on the hillside was the so idyllic and a bit away from the intensity of all the tourists in the main part of Granada. To us it was by far the best place you could stay in all of Granada/Albycian!

My daughter had stayed here last year and recommended it to us. Sadly our experiences with this place varied greatly. We booked a room for 3 months in advance to be given the tiniest room ever. It had 1 single bed and 1 double bed and 2 separate doors to balcony view. 1 set up of doors didn't work. The room was so small we had difficulty storing 3 pieces of luggage (1 per person) unless they were completely closed and stored upright. If we would've left suitcases open and lying on the floor, we wouldn't have been able to enter the restroom or leave the room without jumping over suitcases. Upon check in our room was very hot. A printed page of directions were given upon check in and they included instructions that it may take up to 10 minutes for the a/c to begin working. 30 minutes later the a/c was still only blowing hot air. We notified the front desk and they arrived shortly afterwards. Unknown to us (from reading the website or upon check in), guests cannot control the a/c units in their rooms. The front desk must enter the room with a remote control. We were asked what degree celsius we'd like it set at. We responded and the front desk person left. So, vacationers beware! Unless you want to continually call the front desk to come adjust the a/c temperature, choose your a/c setting wisely. During night 1 while trying to go to sleep we heard water dripping. The a/c unit was installed above the rood door and was leaking. We placed towels on the floor and noticed this issue must have been going on for quite some time before we checked in because it was obvious the top of the door and some of the door trim were warped from the constant exposure to water. We notified the front desk the next morning and they sent someone to repair the unit. The repair was short lived and that evening we again got to listen to dripping water all night. The towels we placed on the floor the second night were soaked by the morning and the water had made its way into the hallway also. But, the worst part about our room was the bathroom. It was disgusting. Please see pics. The bottom of the shower curtain was completely black with mold and the grout and caulk on the tub / tiles needed to be completely redone. On a high note, the staff was friendly and daily we would see the hallways being cleaned and mopped (including the staircase). Too bad some of those cleaning efforts weren't put towards the bathrooms. The location is fabulous and located near many restaurants, etc. However, based on our experience here we'd look for accommodations elsewhere the next time we're in Granada.

Leí muy buenas opiniones y pese a ser un hotel de 2 estrellas en las fotos se veía un hotel bastante bueno. Para empezar el checking y el desayuno es en el edificio de enfrente, algo que jamas he visto, el señor de recepción muy amable, eso si. A nuestra salida nos ayudo a bajar las maletas por las escaleras. No hay ascensor. La habitación en mi caso doble con dos camas, correcta y de decoración bonita. Está recién reformado. Está súper bien aislado acústicamente ya que la calle Recogidas es de muchísimo tránsito de coches y gente. Es de agradecer. El hall de hotel es un espacio enorme, muy bonito decorado pero inservible. Podrían poner un refrigerio, unos libros no sé, algo. No invita a sentarse ni a hacer nada. Ahora mi queja en mayúsculas va por el baño. Un baño donde yo, que soy bajita, no me podía ni mover. Es minúsculo!! Y francamente pagar más de 150€ por noche, por ser un fin de semana durante el puente, cuando normalmente vale 50€…..me parece algo que debería regularse. Sin ascensor, sin cafetería, con ese baño…he pagado 414€ por dos noches y como soy GENIUS en Booking, he conseguido un 10% de descuento. La amabilidad del señor no suple el desfalco. He pagado un precio de lujo por un servicio de hostal, ni siquiera de hotel. Eso si el jabón del baño y ducha es RITUALS. Algo chocante. Lo siento pero es mi experiencia. Saludos.

Good location, good value for money, good rooms, close to many major sightseeing attractions, many restaurants/stores/supermarkets nearby, close to airport bus stop and citybus stops......... Did not expect it was such a good place to stay, given the ”hostel” name. Chose the Toc Hostel because of its convenient location and not too many ”last-moment” choices. Booked the single room with private bathroom (avoided the dormitories with shared bathrooms), and was further updgraded to family(?) room upon check-in. The accommodation was better than many mid-range hotels; clean, quiet and spacious. One drawback/point to note: the daily continental breakfasts were rather simple, and only started at 8am; rather too late if you booked early day-tours.
