We are accor all members, and try to stay in accor properties wherever possible. We understand that ibis is the lower scale hotel the group offers, and do try to stay in better brands, but this is a GEM. Every interaction with staff was great - special mention to Juan who was awesome to deal with. The bed is the usual ibis 'Sweet Bed' which makes them comfortable. Good blockout blinds, and no street noise as it's a small side road. There is a rooftop pool, which I used on a nice sunny day - a nice extra for an ibis. We happened to be here on one of the nights they do live music & flamenco - if you're invited then you should do it! Had buffet breakfast which was good for 8 euros, & hubby had dinner in 1 night - very happy for EUR12.95. Getting to anywhere is easy by taxi as there's a big road just 200 meters away or use the bus. Overall I would recommend & come back.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Lage des Hotels und wenn unser Zimmer. Auch das Zimmer hatte genug Platz für uns beide. Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir konnten die Stadt und die Alhambra von unserer Basis leicht befahren, und der öffentliche Verkehr war nahe und einfach zu benutzen.

Stayed for 2 nights on a room only basis. Spotlessly clean and very friendly staff. Rooms have a good mini fridge, and there is a kitchen next to Reception with a kettle, microwave, cutlery and crockery. Bus stop outside goes to the Alhambra for €1.40. Good selection of bars outside the hotel, and about a 10 minute stroll to the Cathedral, or Bib Rambla all on the flat. At the start of the narrow road to the hotel is a roundabout. Here is the Marquis’s sister hotel - great for breakfast. Scrambled eggs, bread, coffee and a large bowl of fruit & yogurt will set you up for the day for under €10. Just around the corner you can catch the C32 bus to Albaicin for €1.40. Lovely views going up a very steep climb. Get out at St Nicolas Square at the top. There are a couple of cafés next to the square where you can enjoy a coffee or beer, with the most amazing views of the Alhambra, then catch the bus or walk downhill (about 20 mins) back into the centre. We were worried about driving and parking in Granada, so we parked up in a little town outside of Granada, called El Fargue (coming in from Murcia), and caught the N8 bus in. Cost €1.40, and travels down the only main road through every hour, just after the hour, to Jardines del Triunfo, which is the other end of the main Gran Via de Colon - a 15 min flat stroll from the hotel, or a 5 min taxi ride. N8 bus returns to El Fargue from the same place at half past the hour. Saved the stress and expense of driving and parking in the City. Very successful. We will certainly do it again, and we will also stay at the Marquis Urban again.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, genau hier ist die Lage im Zentrum der Stadt und sehr nahe am heißen Platz. Es ist geeignet für Fahrer, es gibt einen unterirdischen Parkplatz. Es gibt nur etwa 20 Euro pro Nacht.

I originally booked a bunk in a 6 bed mixed dorm room, but the hotel was also hosting a large school group during my stay, so they upgraded me to a single private room and I am eternally grateful! The location is perfect. The hotel itself is beautiful, very modern, and clean. The front lobby always smelled so nice, and the décor is just lovely. My room was fantastic. It was quiet, the AC worked well, the bed was really comfortable, and there was a little balcony with a great view. The breakfast is a bit pricy, but well worth it. Overall, whether you are looking for a dorm room or a private room, I really liked this place and would absolutely recommend.

Ich habe die Stadt Granada gebucht, weil der Zug vom Busbahnhof direkt vor dem Hotel hält. Dann ist es 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum historischen Zentrum. Die Lage ist perfekt, weil Sie nachts gehen können und Ihren Weg ohne Probleme zurück finden. Einchecken war Quick und ich habe Zimmer 217. Das Zimmer ist OK, aber die Wände brauchen eine Coat von Farbe. Der größte Nachteil kommt aus den Informationen des Hotels sagt: Kühlschrank und Kaffeemaschine oder Kettle ....Es gab einen Kühlschrank, aber aus Bestellung. Nur am zweiten Tag, als meine frische Milch sauer geworden ....und keine Kaffeeanlagen. Ich fragte sofort, ob ich mit einem Kettler oder Kaffeehersteller ....Die Dame am Vordergrund sagte, sie würde sich um sie kümmern ....Sie hat es nicht. Ich fragte schließlich noch einmal und jemand brachte einen Kettle ohne Schmuck, Lippen, Kaffee oder Tee ...Gut, Ich war soooo gefüttert, ich gab auf. Frühstück war gut. Warme und kalte Gerichte. Nichts zu beschweren. Serrano Schlamm, Salischon, Tomaten, Butter, Brot, geschrotet Eier, etc ...Cheese und Schlamm plus Yoghurt. Also, angesichts des gezahlten Preises ist das Hotel eine gute Wahl, aber es war niedriges Saison. Das Zimmer hatte keinen Blick. Was die Vorbeugung von Knochen betrifft, verdienen sie ein 4,/5. Sehr gut, aber einige Kunden am Frühstück trugen nicht 😷 Maske. Ich habe keine Bilder im Inneren gemacht, aber sie sind genau.

It's a clean hotel with friendly staff. Price is reasonable for all the amenities it has. Very ideally located with easy access to attractions and restaurants. Because it's centrally located, very easy to get taxis too without any hassle. Will recommend this highly!

Wir waren im Juli/August 12 Tage in Granada, das Hotel hat uns das Leben sehr erleichtert. Wir hatten es eigentlich wegen der Nähe zur Wohnung unserer spanischen Verwandten ausgesucht, unsere hohen Erwartungen (darf man bei 4 Sternen ja wohl haben) wurden übertroffen. Angenehm schon die Lage: Nahe der Jardines del triumfo, zur Kathedrale zu Fuß knapp 30 Minuten. Granada ist an sich anstrengend: VielKultur, viel Ethik aus der Zeit der Mauren, viele Touristen, das alles stürzt auf einen ein, mental und sehr real. Da ist es schön, etwas am Rande zu wohnen, Ruhe zu haben und Bares , Bodegas und Restaurantes in der Nähe zu wissen, wo fast nur Einheimische sind. Und wenn man müde ist, vom Taxistand an den Jardines aus zur Plaza Nueva, genau unter der Alhambra, zahlt man 5€, nicht mehr. Das Zimmer war praktisch: riesiges Bett, großer, innenbeleuchteter Kleiderschrank, Schreibtisch für alle Döschen, Bücher, etc, gute Klimaanlage. Das Fenster ging auf einen großen Hof, wir empfanden das eher als angenehmen Blick in das Leben der Einwohner. Gute Nachttische und Nachttischlampen. Im Bad sehr viele Abstellmöglichkeiten. Das Hotel ist groß, hat aber auch drei Aufzüge. Das Personal ließ uns völlig in Ruhe, half andererseits , wenn wir etwas brauchten. Wir hatten das Gefühl, ein eigenes kleines Apartment in Granada zu haben. Und bei den Sommertemperaturen hatten wir das auch nötig. Es gibt ein Frühstücksbuffet und eine Bar, aber ein Tipp: Man kan auch links vom Eingang oder 100m rechts in kleinen Bares frühstücken, das ist einfach, aber gut (z.B. Kaffee, Toast mit Butter/Marmelade oder Tostada mit Tomate und Olivenöl, dazu ein Glas frischgepresster Orangensaft für 5-6€, das ist nicht überteuert.) Wir haben für 12 Nächte 92o€ gezahlt, das ist nicht billig, für die Qualität aber auch mehr als fair. Teuer werden extras wie Traingsgeräte, Beauty,... . Das Schwimmbad auf dem Dach ist gratis, hat sogar einen Lift für Menschen mit Behinderung. Das Hotel hat wohl eine eigene Garage, sonst gibt es eine riesige Garage unter der Avenida (nicht günstig, aber gut). Wir werden sicher wieder hier wohnen, wenn wir wieder in Granada sind.

Un ottimo albergo facilmente raggiungibile dalla tangenziale, a 1 km dal centro in prossimità di un parcheggio pubblico coperto (per il quale è opportuno scaricare per tempo la ”app” che dà diritto ad uno sconto del 50%), ottimamente servito dai mezzi pubblici. Anche vicinissimo alla stazione per chi arrivasse in treno. Belle le camere molto ampie e confortevoli. Ottima l’offerta della colazione, l’ordine e la pulizia. Qualche pecca ne pregiudica un giudizio favoloso: la ciambella del water malferma e priva di alcuni tasselli di appoggio, la mancanza di un blocchettino e di una matita per gli appunti. Attenzioni che in un 4 stelle dovrebbero essere di casa.
