Me and my partner went for 3 days quick getaway for my birthday really enjoyed the place, yes there was a few cats hanging around like previous reviews but nothing that put us off as soon as they came near food buffet the staff waved them back out. Our room was lovely and clean we had an amazing view. Staff all friendly and helpful couldn't fault them and the food at the buffet was good always something there for everyone but joeys Italian restaurant what a gem and highlight for our tea. All the food at joeys was fresh and we tried everything the chef there made it was all amazing. The chef was a lovely man who nothing was to much trouble for he was willing to please and cook for you. If you visit I would book at joeys and try his food is not to be missed. Entertainment was also good something on every night, kids club Entertainment was fair play to them really good always dancing by pool keeping children Entertained with games. Only thing we can negatively comment on is not enough options for alcohol no gin available we did ask pool bar and restaurant only vodka and some cocktails options with one larger one rose one red wine and one white few more options wouldn't go a miss and some gin but wouldn't put us off visiting again.

Recently returned from a weeks stay at Koala Gardens as a family of 2 adults and 2 children boy aged 12 and girl aged 11. I'll start with the food which wasn't great but ok and the kids ate pizza all week, we only ate in the days as went out in evenings for food as it would have been too repetitive. The alcohol was not very good and the slush machine was broke most of the time we were there. Snack bar was good offering burgers, hot dogs, pizza and occasionally chicken. The rooms were clean and cleaned daily and they also give you towels for the pool which was handy. The air conditioning was rubbish so the space you save on taking towels I would advise taking small fans. Location was about a 5-10mins taxi ride from the playa del ingles beach which is where went every evening and and there is a variety of restaurants and shops. Had some lovely meals and good entertainment at the large Italian restaurant on the corner where the taxi drops you off. It is also a 5 minute walk from Holiday World which is a fairground and you pay to enter and all rides are included, we never went in but ate in the food court which I recommend trying a smash burger. We never tried Aqualand but was told by others that it is a good day out. We did go to the zoo as wanted the kids to try the dolphin experience which was very good. £38 per person entry and £150 per child for dolphin experience. All in all a mediocre all inclusive hotel.

Great experience. Nice weather, comfortable room snd the pools were good. The reception staff and the animation team were very charming, the kids had so much fun with the activities. The food wasnt what we expected but it was good anyways. We enjoyed our stay here in Gran canaria.

Our stay at Koala Garden was fantastic, and what truly made it special was the incredible animation team. They brought so much energy and fun to our vacation, engaging both kids and adults in a variety of activities throughout the day. Koala Garden is a perfect destination for anyone looking to relax and have fun, with the animation team being the highlight of our experience!

I really liked the Hotel, mainly because of the tranquility, apart from the fact that the staff has been very friendly with all the meals, they should be a little more varied, but above all what we liked the most was the Animation team, They are always happy with a smile, they do many activities and we also loved the entertainment at night. We laughed a lot and the truth is that we didn't want to leave because we enjoyed it so much. It has a great variety of activities, especially for children and adults. We have just returned home after 1 week at Koala Garden. First of all, this is definitely not a 4 star hotel. More like 2 or 3 stars. The food is repetitive. The rooms are old. The pools are deep. The animation team does not speak English, I tried to communicate with one of the animation girls and she could not answer me, and she did not try to find a solution through the translator. The mini club offers activities that were never carried out. The reception staff were friendly at all times. We are disappointed, we will never return
