Vista Oasis

This was our second visit to these apartments which we based on great value for money, a 2 star rating but in our view should be higher kettle, coffee percolator,large fan, tv and hair dryer in rooms, a good sized balcony many with great sea views. Ok so it's not brand new but is well cared for, clean and well presented,other reviews mention miserable staff but personally did not witness this bearing in mind they have a job to do a simple hola and you will receive a smile and hola in return. We took up the half board option again bearing in mind 2 star rating the food was plentiful and very good always plenty of choice and if you were in good time for meals were hot but could be cooler if late to restaurant always good selection of sweets too and ice cream.The soft drinks machines were also available at meal times for those not all inclusive. We had car for the duration of our trip and for 5 euro deposit were given a key and a parking bay near reception which was great as parking is of a premium on the street. Should probably mention beds were great and very comfortable mattresses firm agood nights sleep was had

Well if you book a 2 star hotel you don’t expect the best but at least you expect something !!! If you want a sea view a sunbed !! A drink not in a poor quality plastic cup or even a place to eat that’s not like a school canteen well don’t book. Yes I agree a 2 star but look at the description of the hotel and think at 2 stars yep it’s in true. The best bit of this hotel is thankfully you get a bit of outside space where you will spend your time trust me. The cleaners don’t speak much English but honestly the best part of the resort they smile they try. They deserve 5 stars The hotel is out of town so you either starve cas food is horrid or you pay to go into town. Which we always do on an all inclusive anyway. However I would not recommend this place to anyone at all stay away. You have been warned

Just got home yesterday, my first solo Holiday… Absolute best staff, service n cleanliness… Measures are miles to big for me mind 😂😂😂 Food isn’t the ritz quality but good selection and always decent flavour, reminded me of dinner at boarding school tbh, also I had weight loss surgery in February and not once was my tummy upset… Got drunk n lost my phone the first night and staff kept it behind the bar for me personally I think that speaks volumes about the calibre of the guys looking after us… From beginning to end I felt safe and looked after and well supported by good English speaking staff… Such lovely people and I will definitely return here… Views were spectacular too… Just a suggestion try the tattoo bar n grill at the top of the road on the corner… Yumbo was a blast too n I tried most of what was on offer 😝😝😝

Hotel totally biased to the English people. Children told off for splashing at the pool.total misunderstanding English, manager lied and families who created the problems were refunded. Good management. Discriminated for wearing bikini top but nothing said when a Spanish lady walked in wearing a thong bikini which did not cover much at all

We usually do 4/5 stars, this was our first 2 star holiday as a last minute get away and it has not disappointed in the slightest! The bungalows are lovely and clean. Change the towels 3 times a week and bedding I think once. We had two bungalows. No aircon but this is in the description when booking and the fans were fine just buy ear plugs if you’re like me and like silence. There is a huge spa supermarket less than 5 minutes up the road, this will sort you out for days out etc. Taxis are dirt cheap no more than 10 euros to go anywhere close like the local beach, town, aqualand etc. we got two day aqualand pass as the complex is small. Around £200 for us 5 and we stayed two full days and absolutely loved it. There is no stress in calling taxis etc the reception will call and when you leave the parks there are so many taxis waiting. NEGATIVE and why I leave four stars … Just need one person here doing something for the kids in the day in the shade. Something in the park perhaps just for an hour or so but actually just for the kids. This would be a godsend for families of little ones, bingo isn’t their cup of tea every day etc. maybe some games, colouring anything to just kill an hour. This resort was mainly Spanish during our visit, never did we feel intimidated, yes a couple of naughty toddlers etc I had to tell off but all really respectable parents. The reviews saying the English is terrible etc just makes me angry! The reception talk wonderful English and are most accommodating, do not listen to those reviews as it’s crazy ignorant. The staff go through everything on arrival etc and do what they can to help, everyone around all the parks etc all speak bloody English and better English than most British! This is not five stars, of course it’s small etc but I’ve had a lot worse all inclusive that has been 5 stars! This caters for British just fine for a lovely week in the sun and some adventures!

We went as a family of 8 and had a lovely time! On arrival, we were greeted by the reception staff who explained everything to us we needed to know for our stay and gave us our wrist bands for us to get drinks & lunch whilst we waited for our rooms. All the staff on reception had been kind and polite, there were some language barriers however, nothing you cannot work out between discussions. Our room was really lovely (No.56) very clean, tidy and the view was beautiful over looking the sand dunes in the distance. The maids had come in 2/3 times in our stay, changed our towels regularly and even gave us some washing up liquid and cloth to wash our cups after our daily morning tea watching the sunrise! Yes, the rooms do get hot! The fans give some respite but in hindsight, I wish I had paid for air con as the weather was hot the week we were there! However, the fans are doable otherwise! Just make sure you open your front door and back door to get that lovely breeze through! You can only order 2 drinks at the bar which is absolutely fine, I just wish the plastic cups were bigger to save you going back so much as the ice cubes were huge so took a lot of space! However, the bar staff were really lovely, efficient and friendly! The entertainer, Maritza. What a whirlwind! She was able to have the whole pool included in poolside games, Zumba and kept the momentum throughout the day with music. There’s a mixture of both English and Spanish music which catered to everyone round the pool. We had a couple of nights down in playa De Ingles which was only €10 in a cab booked from reception. Was really nice to be on the beach for a change of the pool days! The breakfast was the same most days, but how much can you change a breakfast! There were plenty to choose from and eat. Lunch & dinners we had lots of variety and was grateful we all managed to eat very well! We really were worried before hand reading the reviews but feel people may just find problems once being annoyed by something else! The food is lovely and the chef & team do a great job in keeping the food constantly topped up and flavoursome! Overall, we all had a good time! We will look to come back another time with other families and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend! Thank for a great week Vista Oasis team!

This was my second stay at the Vista Oasis and I had a lovely relaxing time. I asked for a quiet bungalow and that is what I got, away from the pool and overlooking the valley with the sea and Faro lighthouse in the distance. I was all-inclusive and it is well worth the price. Mainly Spanish and English guests and the staff was excellent, both in the restaurant/bar and at reception. Got the free bus to the beach one day which is handy. My bungalow was very clean with a nice modern bathroom. My sheets were not changed for the week I stayed there which I think they should have been. The Wi-Fi is now free but the signal in my bungalow was very weak. Overall a most enjoyable stay and I will return.

It was an OK holiday, we definitely got what we paid for so don't expect anything more. The room was OK, the food was OK and the location was OK. 6 euros odd to go out to the busier places so pretty cheap taxi ride away. We didn't have a great or bad experience and it what was expected for the price. Its a good pool and the beach is lovely. I wouldn't come back but at the same time it wasn't awful
