I had spent ages googling “ Luxury Christchurch Accommodation”, and time and time again, Dyers House came up. We booked the garden room. Check in was warm and easy - Barry and Angela met us at the front door, and instantly made us feel like very special guests. As we were shown to our room, the scent of fresh flowers wafted thru the house. This historic home has been renovated with no expense spared, and so many special touches, I’m sure I will forget to mention some. Our room and bathroom were HUGE! The bedroom had elegant and exquisite furnishings, a bed that was divine, and a terrace straight off it where we had afternoon tea as we watched the birds flying around their divine garden ( a garden filled with lilacs, rhododendrons, bearded iris, cherry trees etc.) Beyond the garden lies sweeping views over Christchurch. Back to our room - our bathroom was incredible….everything heated, including the floor. Massive walk in shower, fluffy and soft bath towels, exquisite decor. Breakfast - this literally blew our minds - pastries, muffins, variety of yoghurts, fruit, including rare and exotic…cheeses, cold meats, the list went on and on. Barry made us piping hot coffee, while Angela spoilt us rotten! The hosts - Barry and Angela just love hosting people from around the world, and love spoiling them too. Both have had interesting careers that have taken them all over the globe - they have amazing stories to share, we found them to be caring, thoughtful hosts that could not do enough to make your stay as perfect as possible. The scenic location is worth the stay alone, but given the close proximity down the hill of great restaurants to chose from for dinner, added to the fact your room is divine, the hosts just lovely, and the magnificent breakfast - make this your first and only choice for Christchurch. Oh - and did I mention the afternoon tea? We sat on a private terrace, covered in roses, and ate the most divine gateaux and sweet treats. Shame I can only give them 10/10, they deserve more!

Neuseelands letzte Station kehrte nach Christchurch zurück. Beim Check-in wartete niemand auf das Schloss des Hotels. Es wurde auf der Veranda gerufen und später empfangen. Dies ist ganz anders als das inländische Hotel. Es wird nicht genutzt, die Hygiene und der Komfort sind gut, der Empfang ist klein. Bruderbegeisterung, Frühstück wird besonders gelobt, ein Tisch ist von Freunden aus aller Welt, besonders warm, ein großes Familiengefühl haben, nach dem Frühstück Fahrt zum Victoria Park Hill, Christchurch aus der Vogelperspektive ist wunderschön, das ist der Empfang von der jüngere Bruder stellte sich vor Danke, dieser kleine Bruder, glücklich!

Eine sehr saubere und gemütliche Einheit, die gut mit einer Halbküche ausgestattet ist. Sky-Kanäle enthalten Filme und Sky Sport so große plus hier. Die Rate war $98 pro Nacht, die sehr günstig für Christchurch ist. Das ist nicht mein erstes Aufenthalt in Econolodge und ich bin froh, wieder zu bleiben. Obwohl die Dekoration alt ist, ist sie bemerkenswert sauber und teuer. Ich checkte in spät, und checkte früh aus, so dass sie den Schlüssel für mich verließen. Kostenloses WLAN

Hier war für eine Nacht geblieben. Gill hat mich angemeldet. Sie ist wunderbar und erstaunlich zu behandeln. Liebe ihre Service. Zimmer war groß mit Einrichtungen wie Küchenzeile, Mikrowelle, Tee-Kaffee-Machung usw. Bad hatte Badewanne. Zimmer und Badezimmer waren sauber. Mehr als genug Handtücher wurden bereitgestellt. Parkplatz ist kostenlos. Mir wurde mein Aufenthalt voll genossen.

This is the second time we stayed here. We found the experience very relaxing and the hosts extremely accommodating. They went out of their way to please us and succeeded in doing so. The room we had was perfect for us. The motel itself is probably a bit dated but nonetheless, comfortable, clean and tidy. The rooms are a good size and contain all that is necessary for a long or short stay. I believe there is a pool although we didn't use it. Outside the gate there is a bus stop for your convenience and a Z petrol station right next door. Plenty of eateries in walking distance. If you want a comfortable stay with very good hosts this is the place for you. Thank you so much to our hosts for all they did for us.

Clean, modern and very comfortable room. For us a great location close to the Railway Station. A walk into the CBD took about 40 minutes but we love walking and we did that every night to access the city centre vibe. Sleep quality was excellent. No noise even though the hotel is on a busy junction, we slept like babies for two nights. We can definitely recommend this hotel.
