An amazing hotel! Clean, intimate, well-maintained, and incredibly guest-friendly. There are no problems here - just a fantastic experience! Delicious breakfasts, fantastic dinners, and exquisite wine available at the bar. The green areas are beautifully taken care of, the pool loungers are cleaned daily, and pool towels are included in the room price (such a great perk!). Be sure to order drinks at the pool bar - they're tasty and strong! :) I highly recommend this place. The location is perfect—well-positioned for easy access to Corfu’s main attractions and stunning beaches. It’s just a 10-minute walk to the town center and the beach. Thanks to the bay, the water is calm and warmer, making it the perfect spot to relax. Sunbeds on the beach are reasonably priced, around 8-10 euros per day. If you're visiting Corfu, stay at Art Hotel Debono!

WONDERFUL HOTEL **** I can’t speak highly enough of my 10 night stay at The Paradise hotel. Despite arriving around 02.30 at night, I had a pleasant welcome from the night porter and was very pleased with my room, which was very well appointed with air-conditioning, tv, fridge and safe. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was a little old fashioned but fine, and the balcony had lovely views of the Pandokrator mountain range and the lush gardens. The self-service breakfast which is served between 07.30 and 10.30, was extremely good with an extensive choice of hot and cold food. There were different types of bread, fresh fruit, fruit juice, cereals, and cake for those with a sweet tooth! A choice of coffee and tea was available. Everything was very tasty, well presented and constantly topped up. The service was excellent! The hotel is situated above Gouvia, the gardens are beautifully kept, the swimming pool, whilst not very large, is really nice and the well-padded loungers around it are very comfortable. As there are plenty of beautiful old Olive and Palm trees, there is a choice of being in the sun or shade. This area is served by the Pool Bar which is open from early afternoon until about midnight, and which serves hot and cold snacks during the afternoon, as well as hot drinks (including English tea!!!) and of course, juices, wine etc. Once again, the service is absolutely terrific – thank you Harris and staff for making my stay so enjoyable - afternoon tea every day! After a short walk down the hill to the main road there is a bus stop (No. 7 bus) almost immediately to the left, which will take you into Corfu town, or a stop opposite which will take you further up the coast. Gouvia itself has a lovely smallish beach from which one can walk along the waterfront past the Venetian Boat Yard (historic building remains) to Gouvia Marina etc. There are also a few nice restaurants and the usual gift shops etc. What made my stay at The Paradise so enjoyable was the excellent service I received from everyone. My room was spotlessly cleaned every day, all the staff were friendly and ready with advice, particularly the excellent reception ladies!. But above all, for me, the peaceful atmosphere and ambience of the place – hotel, gardens, and lovely views wherever one looked – made this visit so special.

Wir waren das erste Mal auf Korfu, mit direkter Fluganbindung vom Airport Lübeck LBC nach Corfu CFU. Kurze Flugzeit, große Erwartungen und die wurden uns im ”Iliada Beach Hotel” erfüllt. Schon beim einchecken fühlten wir uns zu Hause. Die Zimmer sind frisch renoviert ”Superior Doppelzimmer” ausgestattet mit kostenfreier Nutzung des WLAN, des Safes, Wasserkocher mit Tee und Kaffee (und zwei Ouzo und Soda) , sowie Klima und Deckenventilator. Wir hatten nur Frühstück gebucht (das Frühstück ist i.O. ) um die Gastronomie in Gouvia zu testen. Wir haben in 14 Tagen viele Restaurants besucht und keine Enttäuschung erlebt! Hervorheben möchte ich das Restaurant ”The Best”! Hier wurde mein erster Gedanke an einen Grillimbiss mit Qualität und einem tollen Team eines besseren belehrt! Ich empfehle den Grill-Mix, oder einfach einen Burger!!!! Auch das Restaurant Sayan (Chinesisch/Thai) war hervorragend und mit keinem unserer Restaurants in Deutschland zu vergleichen! Aber auch das ”À La Carte Restaurant” im ”Iliada Beach Hotel” ist mit 4 Sternen zu bewerten (der Service ist einzigartig, selbst Mückenspray wird Dir auf Anfrage ”SERVIERT :-) ) und die Speisen von bester Qualität! Solltet Ihr einen Abstecher nach Albanien (liegt nahe) planen empfehle ich keine Buchung über Euren Veranstalter, sondern den entspannten Weg der Eigenplanung! : Einfach mit dem Bus (7) nach Corfu, am Hafen aussteigen, Ticket für die Fähre kaufen (kein Visum nötig 90 Tage Aufenthaltsrecht :-) der Personalausweis langt) und den Tag z.B. in Sarandë erkunden und genießen! Den Norden Korfu´s haben wir dann doch mit einer Buchung unseres Reiseveranstalters erfahren und es war sehr schön und Informativ. Mein Fazit zu dieser Reise: Wir kommen sicher wieder (dann aber nur im ”Iliada Beach Hotel” ) !

This is a lovely hotel. The rooms are spacious and the pool is an added bonus. The breakfast was very good with a variety of hot and cold options. Two things really make this hotel. The first is the family who run it and who are so helpful and hardworking. The second is its location, very close to the centre of Gouvia and only a couple of minutes walk from the bus stops from where it is easy to explore northern Corfu.

Just returned from a lovely 10 night stay at Hotel Gouvia. The hotel is ideally located in central Gouvia and is an ideal base for a holiday in Corfu. The room we opted for was basic but suited our needs during our stay. The room was cleaned daily with fresh bedding and towels each time. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis which was ideal for us. The breakfast is plentiful with a wide range of fresh fruits, cereal, yogurt, cakes & pastries and a great selection of hot foods such as eggs bacon tomatoes and savoury pastries to name a few. The staff are friendly and always on hand to offer advice about days out and places of interest. I swim daily when at home so for me the pool was a massive bonus as it is a decent size where you can actually swim and was not full of kids on inflatables like you get in other places. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return if we visited Corfu again. Thanks to everyone who made our holiday a pleasant one. Yammas!

Das Zimmer war makellos, der Poolbereich groß und einladend. Die Kochmöglichkeiten ließen das Apar**ent im Stich. Zwei elektrische Kochplatten, die scheinbar ewig zum Aufheizen brauchten. Eine halbe Stunde, um ein Omelett zuzubereiten – zum Glück regnete es, also konnte ich nirgendwo anders hin. Die Sonnenliegen könnten auch mal ausgetauscht werden – sie haben definitiv schon bessere Tage gesehen. Wir haben im Govino7 gegessen, als wir ankamen – großzügige Portionen, griechische Hausmannskost – angemessene Preise.
