Premier Inn Gosport

From the warmest welcome by the night receptionist to the friendly greetings from all staff we were made to feel like we were the most important people in the world. The room was impeccably clean. There was free access to extra tea and coffee. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will gladly stay there again.

All the staff, especially Charlene and Lee at Breakfast were outstanding ! I enjoyed the Classic English Breakfast which was freshly cooked, piping hot and, after a second helping, really set me up for the day. I look forward to my next visit.

On arrival the hotel screamed “grubby” We were seen and booked in quite promptly and asked for an iron. Upon entering our room (112) it appeared clean, however on a much needed soak after a long journey, the bath was filthy, the hair dryer didn’t work and no plug sockets on one side of the bed. There was also only 1 bath towel and a hand towel so OH had to go back downstairs to request one. When you very limited time, last thing you need is to be walking backwards and forwards from your room to the reception to declare issues with your room. The other issue was not being able to book in until 3pm especially when you have book out the next day at 12 noon. Not even 24 hours.

Room drab and felt dirty, net curtains on window poorly fitted. Bathroom towel rail rusty and toilet seat marked. Breakfast facilities inadequate and poor quality food. Building in general looks tired and requires complete overhaul. Would not stay here again.

A cheerful greeting at the front desk and trouble free check in always go a long way. The room was fine and clean with the normal comfortable bed. This premier inn is fairly unusual in having a lift. Breakfast is served in house and was also good.

My husband stays here a lot for his work, sometime I join him. This time I joined him, the staff are so lovely. The breakfast is always nice. Only problem was that it was a Pretty noisy stay, can’t be helped as it’s half term and lots of families staying.Have met Keeley the receptionist a couple previous times and she’s always so smiley and will help no matter the problem, she’s just a pleasure to talk to and a perfect person for a receptionist. Lee and Sharmaine (I think) are superb. Great atmosphere in the mornings, exactly what you need first thing in the morning ☺️
