"Im schönen Hotel für zwei Nächte geblieben. Sehr sauber und komfortabel und hervorragend freundliches Personal. Schöne Schwimmbad und Tennisplätze, auch Pooltisch. Für diejenigen, die in Fitness sind, gibt es einen Fitnessraum auf dem Grundstück mit allen Arten von Ausrüstung für die Übung. Ipad Größe sicher im Zimmer. WIFI, Frühstück und Parkplatz enthalten. Wird definitiv irgendwann wieder ....Hoffentlich für einen längeren Aufenthalt."

Amaka Ocean Living Lodge

"We booked the hotel for a night through *******. Upon arrival late afternoon they told us they had overbooked. Ok, can but in a well managed hotel won’t happen. They offered us 2 other hotels. In the amaka they charged us 285.- usd and they wanted us to accept a hotel which for the same night at ******* had a cost of 75 usd. After complaining they told us we get a free dinner. After more complaining they agreed to not charge us for the night - for a non existing service. Seemingly its the business model of the hotel to pocket their rate of 285 and then send you to a 75 usd establishment pocketing the difference. This is sn obvious scam"

"Ich würde gerne wiederkommen. Nicht wegen des Fernsehens oder des Internets, sondern wegen der entspannten Uferpromenade. Sie ist leicht erreichbar, nur 300 Meter von der Bushaltestelle San José nach Golfito entfernt. Das Boot nach Puerto Jiménez (Corcovado) ist knapp 1 km entfernt. In der Nähe der Banana Bay gibt es mehrere Lokale, die ein köstliches Frühstück oder eine Mahlzeit an einem Tisch oder einer Bar servieren. Genießen Sie die Uferpromenade oder mieten Sie ein Kajak im Hotel."

"Our Stay at Cielo Eco Lodge Where should we begin. Let’s start by admitting that we travel the world, having been to Asia, Africa, Antarctica, Europe, South America, every US state and every Canadian province, etc., etc. With that out of the way, we have just visited heaven, and it is called the Cielo Eco Lodge. To begin with, immediately upon arrival, you are immersed in the beauty and vibes of the Costa Rican rain forest. From the wild toucans, macaws, and endless other birds, to the seemingly endless varieties of drop dead gorgeous butterflies, the beauty is everywhere. Next, the service is unparalleled anywhere. Your every need or ask is practically anticipated. There simply could be no higher level of service if you were staying at the Four Seasons or the Ritz. In fact, consider how your day begins: after you tell the chef what you’d like to drink, coffee, tea, juices, etc., your service appears magically just outside your door between 5 and 5:30 every morning. Want to sleep in? Do it. Prefer to enjoy your morning coffee at 5AM, do that. Next, breakfast is served around 8AM. We’re talking several course brimming with locally source fresh squeezed juices, to endless local fruits. The food is more than outstanding. We stayed eight days, with the chef creating different three course meals every lunch and dinner, each more unique and incredibly delicious. We have to rate the restaurant every bit of 5 stars! Furthermore, in keeping with where we are located, every meal boasted dozens of local nuts, vegetables, meats, fish, and sauces. Don’t expect to diet on this visit. However, I took the Pritikin Cardiac Rehab program some time ago, and these meals would be rated 5 stars by Pritikin himself. Then there is the pool. You can swim laps or just admire the infinity style solitude and the awesome views. The suites are luxurious in their simple elegance. The architecture is awesome as well. We’ve experienced outdoor showers before, but the one on our private deck was such a delight that my wife and I each often used it twice daily. Once you have showered in the Costa Rican breezes and sunshine, I don’t know how you recover! We are going to remodel our home and install one of these. Did I mention the frogs, toads, dolphins, monkeys, etc., all of which you will see and hear under the guidance of a local naturalist. To sum up, you will never find, in our opinions, a better place to unwind, relax, and rejuvenate while enjoying all the beauty Costa Rica offers, which is just immense and awesome. Esquinas Rainforest Lodge

"Stayed here for two nights as part of our Exodus Discover Costa Rica tour. Excellent location. No glass in the windows, only mesh so you could hear the wildlife all night, which was brilliant (luckily none came into the room!) Safe provided. Also ceiling fan. Basic clean and comfortable accommodation. All meals were provided, but we found portion sizes small. They pride themselves on no waste! Lovely swimming pool. Night time walks are offered with the use of wellies provided by the hotel. A stunning isolated location in the rain forest."
