"Dienst war lückenlos und wir schätzten wirklich, wie freundlich und aufmerksam das Personal war. Leider waren wir ein paar Dinge weniger glücklich - das Frühstück war eine große Enttäuschung. Es kam und dass normale Reaktion von „oh, das hübsch aussieht“ stattdessen ein sehr großes „meh“ war. Zwei der kleinsten, dünnsten Toaststücke, die man kennt, half nicht. Wir waren sehr unterwälzt. Es war sehr grau. Wenn Sie ein schönes Frühstück zu Hause kochen können - bleiben Sie zu Hause! Die andere Frage war kein heißes Wasser oder Druck für die Dusche - das wir nicht erwähnt, da wir schätzen, wie alt das Gebäude ist und wir anstatt das Bad gefüllt. Ein kleiner Punkt, aber eine halbe Loo-Roll ist nur ein bisschen durchschnittlich. Wir bekommen die Gastfreundschaftsindustrie kann kämpfen, aber sicherlich können Sie uns eine voll Loo-Roll (& ein paar Stück Toast!) zulassen."

"Ein schönes altes Pub mit historischen Übernachtungszimmern. Eigentlich sehr schön grün und am Fluss gelegen, aber leider ist die Autobahn sehr nah und deutlich zu hören. Insbesondere im Sommer, wenn man bei offenem Fenster schlafen will, ist das störend. Das Essen ist Pub ist toll, ebenso das Frühstück und das Personal ist sehr freundlich."

"Having given the owner of this awful place plenty of time to issue a refund…several months in fact….I have taken to writing a bad review. This place was terrible… nobody here when we arrived, owner and his son finally turned up they were rude and had clearly been drinking!! Not an issue except the owner was driving! Shown to room it was filthy with stuff left from previous guests, dusty and needed updating. Breakfast only available to owners convenience and had to share a bathroom which is not great. Felt like we had moved into a house share rather than booking a relaxing night away! Have requested refund multiple times including in person before we left but didn’t argue our point as there were several of the sons mates there and we felt threatened! All emails ignored! Needless to say would never stay again and would advise anyone else to avoid!!"
