Das ist wahrscheinlich unser 5 oder 6th Aufenthalt hier und hat noch nie eine schlechte Einheit. Wir bekommen in der Regel eine zwei Schlafzimmer-Einheit oben und dieses Mal haben wir eine Schlafzimmer-Einheit. Der einzige Nebenanblick des einzelnen Schlafzimmers war es kein Balkon, der in der Vergangenheit mit der zwei Schlafzimmer-Einheit oben hätten wir einen schönen Balkon für unseren Morgenkaffee oder Abenddrank auf sitzen. Auch so, der Powhatan nicht enttäuscht. Ich liebe die Pools, eine Seite für Erwachsene und eine Seite für diejenigen unter 18 Jahren, die keine Kinder haben, die heute nicht mehr sind, und ich schätze die ruhigere Seite und ihre schöne, die Kinder auf der anderen Seite zu hören, Spaß haben. Wir sind nach 8:00 Uhr angekommen, so dass es keinen Verkaufsdruck gab. Also mein Tipp ist: Wenn Sie nicht wollen, dass der Verkaufsplatz nur ein wenig später kommt und Sie werden das und die Linien zu überprüfen verpassen. Obwohl ich in der Vergangenheit zu sagen, als wir früh geprüft haben, war es nie ein Problem. Eincheckung war immer ziemlich schnell und als ich sagte, ich war nicht interessiert für die Präsentation sie waren respektvoll. Ich liebe dieses Resort und wir werden hier wieder bleiben.

Wenn das Frühstück bis zum Par gewesen wäre, wäre dieses Hotel ein 5. Von der Zeit, als wir ins Geh waren, wurden wir warm gegrüßt. Ein Antrag auf einen Zimmerwechsel wurde glücklich gewährt, um eine andere Bettarrangement zu beherbergen. Die junge Frau am Desk (Bernadette) war freundlich und so hilfreich. Jedes Mal, wenn wir das Hotel einstiegen oder ausstiegen, sprach sie zu uns, fragte nach unserem Tag und ob sie mit irgendetwas helfen könnte. Ich bin nie so willkommen gemacht worden! Das ist ein neueres Hotel. Das Zimmer war geräumig, sauber und hatte alles, was wir nach langen Tagen am Park brauchten. Das einzige Mangel war Frühstück. Leider war die Hilfe hier ein Problem. Das Frühstück war langsam zu kommen und wieder zu füllen. Die Auswahl war weniger als bei den meisten HI Express und fehlte an Qualität und Menge. Die Gäste standen auf Kaffee und warmes Wasser sowie Nahrung zu warten. Allerdings war der helle Ort ein junger Mann namens DIVINE. Er lebt definitiv bis zu seinem Namen. Er hat alles verarbeitet! Das Büro, Hauspflege und mit Frühstück zu helfen. Er hat es mit Begeisterung, Hübsche und positive Einstellung. Ich gebe dem Hotel einen Pass auf dieses Frühstückserlebnis diese Zeit (aufgrund der verrückten Zeiten der keine Hilfe verfügbar) und würde sie definitiv meine erste Wahl für meinen nächsten Besuch machen. Und zum Wohle - bitte bringen Sie die ursprünglichen Cinnamon-Rollen zurück! :)

Wife and I Stayed over the Memorial Day weekend to celebrate our recent anniversary. We have stayed at most of the Historic Williamsburg hotels and this one several times in the past. We love the historic area and it is so nice to be close and be able to walk around the area and to Merchant square without having to search for parking on a busy weekend. The Lodge is very nice and the rooms well appointmented and decorated. This weekend we paid over $400 per night. The most consistent and disappointing problem we encounter every time we stay is the mattresses are terrible. This weekend was no different as it was a king bed which sagged deeply in both sleeping sides and gave little to no support. My wife and I both developed back pain after the first night and it only got worse the second. Again we have stayed at most of the properties in the historic area and even the colonial houses and this has more often than not been a problem. I think they just don't switch out the mattresses for new ones often enough and they get very worn and uncomfortable. We love the historic area very much and always enjoy our walks through the area, but this might be the last time we stay at a colonial property. You would think being a Marriott property it would be better now, but it is not.

Auch die Lage ist groß und nahe so viele gute Orte zu essen und in der Innenstadt Williamsburg.
