The best spa by a mile! Beautiful interior Treatments were amazing Quality of the food was unparalleled The staff were absolutely delightful. From the front desk to the spa and the restaurant I must give a nod to Ed in the restaurant who was simply epic. Personable, efficient, wonderful humour - we all loved him! The beds were very comfortable and the quality of the rooms really did exceed our expectations I was even left a bottle of champagne and a had written postcard because it was a special occasion for me

Me and my husband stayed one night here; and what an experience we had! Everything was exceptional! The staff were so friendly and helpful, special shout out to Sarah, a casual waitress in the restaurant/bar, she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and her passion was so warming! She really looked after us! All of the staff were incredibly friendly and always greeted us when walking by! The food was on another level! So so fresh, local and tasty! The hotel itself was so clean and beautifully decorated, it really felt like a home away from home! The spa was also so lovely! The outside jacuzzi in particular was incredible, and again the staff and treatments were amazing! Can’t wait to come back again, and even bring our little one too!! Thank you for an amazing stay, it was just what we needed!

We visit a lot but I have never had Sunday lunch here. Visited the brasserie on Easter Sunday; the food was delicious and service was both warm and efficient from Bryn. I had a perfectly light and delicious cheese soufflé followed by a perfect roast (lamb). My daughter’s penne bolognese was also of very good standard. A very relaxed lunch thank you.

Took my friend on a spa getaway for her birthday at calcot. We had a lovely day soaping up the sun at the spa, my friend had a massage, and said it was amazing. Then went back to the hotel for some cocktails and food, the staff were great and food was incredible!! Thank you calcot 10/10

I asked for a quiet room several times before I arrived and instead they gave me a room above the restaurant in a building that has no soundproofing so I could hear the music in my room and it was so incredible loud every night for hours. Cheap plastic chair for the desk chair, mold in the shower, dust and grime on every wall and baseboard in the room, stains on the towels, so may things that do not live up to what they call luxury. They offer turndown service so I asked for it, but they never came and did it. And the spa is even worse. More than half the lockers are broken, hair and water all over the floors and I was there for hours and they never cleaned up the locker room at all, a freezing cold treatment room that the lady told me they could not make warmer, they used a scratchy hard towel as the top of bottom of my treatment bed instead of a proper sheet or blanket I had a scratch towel on both sides of me. For the facial the lady told me it wouldn't be good on my skin type but refused to change the treatment despite them never asking my skin type when I booked the treatment so the lady said it would make my skin worse and we had to do it anyways.

Light lunch in The Hive on 20/2. The flatbread was more like a pizza; not at all “flat”! The Croque monsieur was good. Service was prompt and efficient. Car park was very busy - half term! Good location between Bath / Cheltenham and within the Cotswolds.
