Exquisite property - 8 hectares of rolling vineyards and forest that stretch to the horizon. Amazing food and wine, comfortable modern rooms set within a delightful historic building, and service levels fit for a wealthy private residence.

Love this place, been twice now and we will go again! The chateau is absolutely gorgeous, the food is good though breakfast became a bit boring after 7 nights. The staff were great, very helpful and down to earth which was nice. The wine is fab also. Love it!

What a beautiful chateau, full of wonderful character, art and atmosphere. We honestly could not have wished for a better place to stay. Lovely spacious rooms, mixing modern and old so well. We rented the electric scooters to tour the vineyard and grounds which was brilliant fun. Highly recommend the four course dinner at the chateau, it was incredible, plenty of wine and the most delightful food. Julien was an excellent host and catered for every need to make our stay so enjoyable. We have travelled to some incredible places and this one is right up there. Highly Highly recommended!

The hotel is set in a beautiful location with large interesting courtyard. There appear to be many room types and we had booked a double room within the courtyard. The room was immaculate and much larger than most hotels with a comfy bed and well equipped spotless bathroom. The helpful staff make you feel extremely welcome and are very keen for you to explore the buildings and grounds. The evening meal is provided by a first class chef who always personally visits your table to ensure you are happy with the food choices he has selected. The wine produced by the establishment is offered frequently to try and is certainly worth making room in the car for some cases to take back home. There are electric bikes and scooters to explore the grounds and wonderful seating areas around the small swimming pools. Definitely intend to visit again in the future.

What a beautiful, peaceful place to relax, and unwind. Stephanie & Antoine were the perfect management team ensuring we had everything we needed. Laure & Richard made the most delicious food every day, and Bernard the owner could not have been more welcoming (I’m sure one morning he made us eggs). The château is simply stunning, and the detail of the restoration made for a luxurious yet inclusive experience. Thank you so much!

A beautiful castle, well taken care of, I wish I could say the same about their guests. On our arrival we were notified our room didn’t have an en-suite bathroom. Our bathroom was in the corridor! To add to it, the bathroom’s door couldn’t close perfectly and couldn’t be locked. As we complained about it, nothing was done to at least fix the door. Nothing was done to make our stay more comfortable, our discontent was simply ignored. We were told they tried to send us messages, sending an email instead ( same as it was done to confirm our reservation) could have worked better. Other areas need improvement: toiletries in the bathroom ( only one soap dispenser in the shower, no shampoo, no conditioner, no soap on the sink). No fresh orange juice or bacon for breakfast

Séjour exceptionnel au Château Prieuré Marquet pour nos deux ans de mariage ! Accueil chaleureux, literie parfaite, piscine et jacuzzi au top ! La visite du château lors des vendanges était génial. Que dire également du dîner qui était délicieux, tout était parfait. Nous sommes même repartis avec du vin du château en souvenir ! Merci à toute l’équipe ! (chef, service, accueil…). Nous reviendrons !

Une halte entre Lyon et Bordeaux surprenante qui lie gentillesse, confort et expérimentations vinicoles. Vaste domaine excentré par rapport aux régions emblématiques du bordelais. Chambre très confortable au calme Accueil chaleureux avec un repas simple et efficace devant les vignes et la piscine Un Bordosco sur le mode Lambrusco: du jamais vu en bordelais ainsi que certains assemblages. Au final, un excellent moment dans ce lieu atypique.

Revenus il y a 1 semaine d’un endroit magique que dire de ce lieu exceptionnel ! Des l’arrivee cette allee superbe presage d’un magnifique chateau. Accueilli par Jonathan tres sympa ; chambre, salle de bains decorees de bon gout ; la vue sur les vignes est magnifique. La promenade en jeep avec Julien fabuleuse.
