Ideal für einen kurzen Aufenthalt: nahe dem Bahnhof. Parkplatz in der Nähe, gut gelegen, um Gerone und sein historisches Zentrum zu besuchen, vernünftiger Preis. Man muss nur erwarten, dass man ein gutes Zimmer findet, es gibt nichts anderes: peu de personnel, pas de petit dej sur place, presque pas d’espace commun. En revanche : bonne litière, très propre et équipement de base nécessaire respecté (caisses-forts / centres/ Tv/ Clim / sèche cheveux / savon et gel douche. Franchement pour une nuit ou 2 c'est parfait.

Wir genossen die persönliche Aufnahme. Die Dienstleistungen waren oben. Die Nähe der Komfort zum Essen, Einkaufen, zwei Schritte zu besuchen. Das Innenkafé ist super. Wir hatten einen sehr netten Aufenthalt. Das Hotel war nicht voll, was uns erlaubte, ziemlich bevorzugt zu sein. Wir haben auch die Ratschläge der Gastgeber über die Parkmöglichkeiten geschätzt und vor allem uns einen sicheren und kostenlosen Ort anzuzeigen!

Wir haben leider die falschen Rezensionen gelesen und dieses Hotel für eine Nacht gebucht. Das Zimmer war auf den ersten Blick ok, auf den zweiten ein mottenzerfressener Lichtschutzvorhang, Tapeten lösten sich ab. In der Badewanne kein Stöpsel, mussten wir erst an der Rezeption beantragen. Der Pool lächerlich klein, mitten auf der Terrasse, ist nur groß und schön fotografiert auf den Bildern. Da wir am Abend nicht nicht nochmal den Berg erklimmen wollten, haben wir uns entschieden, im Hotel zu essen, nicht zuletzt wegen der schönen Terrasse. Wir hatten nun die Wahl zwischen einem 3 Gänge-Menü (jeweils Auswahl an 3 Speisen), im RESTAURANT oder einer kleinen Karte mit 6 Convenience-Produkten zur Lieferung aufs Zimmer (5 €) oder zum Verzehr auf der Terrasse. Ein halbes Menü oder nur 1 Teil daraus war nicht möglich. Die Qualität war grausam. Betten waren gut, das wars aber auch. Am Morgen haben Gärtner den Laubbläser angeworfen, das hat dann das nächtliche Hundegebell abgelöst. Das Frühstück war eine Frechheit. Man konnte zwischen 3 verschiedenen (fertigen) belegten Brötchen wählen, hat ein Tablett bekommen wie im Flieger mit Holzbesteck in Plastik verschweisst, kleine Portionen frisches Obst, in Plastikverpackung, O-Saft-Plörre aus dem Tetrapack. Wir waren fassungslos. Das hat auch nichts mit Corona zu tun sondern mit reiner Profitgier. Mit dieser Art der Restauration spart natürlich unglaublich Personal.

Nos anularon el hotel que teníamos reservado en el centro a última hora y tuvimos que alojarnos en este. Aunque nos tardaron un poco en atender, nos atendieron amablemente. La habitación es amplia y la cama cómoda. Eso sí, la ducha. no tragaba bien el agua y se hacía una piscina. La relación calidad-precio puede ser algo alta teniendo en cuenta su ubicación, ya que está a más de 20 minutos andando del centro de Girona.

Kann ich nur empfehlen, sehr freundliches Personal. Zimmer waren immer sauber, grosses Badezimmer. Frühstück und Abendessen als Buffet, reichlich Auswahl. Guter Preis. Werde ich wieder buchen. Online einfach zu buchen

Großes Hotel, sehr schöner Pool, das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Abendessen war brillant und sehr vernünftig, wir essen dort zwei von vier Nächten. Viele auf dem Menü, sogar ganze Monkfisch-Hals. Massen Bisschen auch. Frühstück war so, aber Standardpreis. The location is great if you’re mobile but the bus stop is just across the road so you can get into town easily either way (about a 20 minutes walk, less than ten minutes on the bus). Wenn Sie sich auf die Strände besuchen wollen, sind Sie für eine Reise vorbereitet, da sie sehr weit entfernt sind und schwer über den öffentlichen Verkehr zu navigieren. Taxis sind teuer. Das Hotelpersonal hat die Zeitpläne für uns gedruckt, weil sie nicht auf Google Map zeigen würden. Wir gingen Schnorcheln und Meerkajak und sahen Octopus und erforschten Höhlen. Nur negatives zu sagen über das Hotel ist, dass sie für die Heißrohre und es ist €7 pro Person zahlen. Es fühlte sich wie es sollte enthalten, aber vielleicht erhalten Sie eine bestimmte Menge von Slots auf Basis Ihrer Aufenthaltsdauer? Es schien nicht so, als würde jemand es buchen, und ich vermute, es ist, weil die meisten Menschen denken, es sollte eingeschlossen werden.

Wow, an amazing hotel - perfectly located, whisper quiet and feels brand new. We arrived on a Saturday for 2nights exploring Girona and couldn't have been more delighted. Our room was a suite on level 5 (room 520) and it was sensational. A great lounge room, light and bright with a massive tv (the biggest I've ever seen in a hotel) and comfy couches, tea and coffee making facilities and a sliding door to the massive bedroom (allowing me to go to bed while my husband watched tv till late). The bedroom was great too - large, light and bright (but importantly with block out blinds) and there was also a massive tv in the bedroom (so I did watch some tv before falling asleep). Airconditioning in both rooms on separate units. Also a walk in wardrobe. The sleep quality was excellent as it's whisper quiet despite being located on a major road - the windows are double glazed. The bathroom had a great shower/bath with great water pressure and hot water. Big white fluffy towels. And the bathrooms was big too. Breakfast is served downstairs in a large, light and bright room. It's a buffet and has a great range of fresh meats and cheeses, pastries and hot items. Coffee is either freshly ground or a pod (your choice). There is a hidden rooftop bar and pool (not widely publicized) - on the sixth floor - and a great spot to see Girona and watch the sunset. The location is brilliant. Aldi, Lidl and Mercadona are all literally opposite the hotel (open everyday except Sunday). There is a Carrefour Express a 2minute walk away for Sundays. Great restaurants within walking distance (5-10minutes) - with our favourite La Gioia (a fantastic pizzeria - authentic wood fired pizzas and wonderful service). The old town (no cars) is a 10minute walk away - and I'd recommend walking there via the Parc de la Devesa which is just gorgeous (adjacent to a large tree lined street - perfect and safe to walk along and the park is great for kids, dogs and to just to relax). Parking is so easy. Free parking behind the Aldi and Lidl. Staff were fantastic - warm, friendly, helpful and importantly spoke multiple languages. Special shoutout to Alex, Julia and Roby (and the whole breakfast team). We loved our stay at Doubletree Girona and would definitely stay there again if visiting Girona - which is a great city to explore (and great to cycle in).

My husband and I came as day guests because we wanted the use of a swimming pool. You pay €30 and get a towel and 1 drink (beer or soft drink). When we arrived the outdoor pool was like ice, we're hardy swimmers but this was ice ice and so we asked if we could swim in the indoor pool. No, you pay €30 to use the spa, we asked if we could pay for the spa instead of the outdoor pass and they said yes, but you cannot then sit outside???!! We said we didn't want to be sat indoors all day so got the outdoor pass. After an hour, noticing there was not one single other person at the indoor or outdoor pool, we explained again that the outdoor pool was unusable so could we just have one swim in the indoor pool otherwise we have paid €30 for a towel and a chair (which we have on our large terrace at our accommodation for free!). We even offered to forego the free drinks to do so. We werent trying to get freebies, just asking for the ability to go for a swim like we'd paid for, making it clear we would not use the jacuzzi or anything else in the spa. Receptionist said she would get back to us in half an hour. 2 hours later....Nothing. Went back in and had to explain it all to 2 new ladies. Come back in 20 minutes. Went back and they said if you want to use the indoor pool you have to pay another €30. It was absolutely baffling that with zero other guests using the facilities and knowing we had paid for a pass to have use of a pool, they would not let us have 1 swim in an empty indoor pool. What difference does it make to them if we swim indoor or outdoor, zero. What difference would it have made to us, total. The actual advert for the pass doesnt even specify that the pool is outdoor only and when we emailed them in advance was also not advised this, nor that we had to have passports to enter (fortunately i had a photo of them on my phone, otherwise we would have had a wasted 30minute journey) because we were told we could not enter using our drivers license. Our sole purpose for coming was to swim, I'd had a bad fall and injured my leg and back quite severely and was coming to try and relieve it by swimming, instead I went back €30 worse off, irritated and still in pain. Their customer service skills and logic were appalling. What could have been a lovely, relaxing day out was totally overshadowed by their lack of hospitality.

Wir kamen bei Dunkelheit an. Das Hotel ist leider sehr schlecht zu finden da es keine gute Beschilderung gibt. Selbst die Policia-Local konnte uns den Weg zum Hotel nicht richtig beschreiben,weil es sehr schlecht zu finden ist. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir aber durch das sehr freundliche Personal wieder versöhnt. Das Zimmer war für die 4 Sterne angemessen,könnte aber etwas größer sein. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und die Auswahl sehr vielfältig. Der Service ließ keine Wünsche offen. Zusammenfassung: Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.Ich werde wieder dort übernachten und kann das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen.
