Premier Inn Chatham/Gillingham (Vic Pier)

My sister and my mum and I stayed here for 2 night's. Nice location for what we needed. On arrival only 1 member of staff at reception, big queue. Both self check in computer were broken. Staff friendly.Room was clean. However considering only April, The room was stifling the window does not open. The air-conditioning does not go below 19°c. We had to ask for a fan. Staff very helpful. But by second night we had to ask for another fan. As it was so uncomfortable in the room due to the heat.

All I can say is don't choose family room 106 - there was constant thudding heard from people walking around either in the room above or close to it. It went on intermittently until 11 at night and started at 7 in the morning. Every time I thought about going to complain to the staff it stopped for 5 minutes or so so I couldn't guarantee it happening if I brought a member of staff up. The hotel is not very well built if noise travels so much between floors. Also why build it here? It's a good 30 min walk to where you would want to go in Chatham (Royal Dockyard, Dockside outlet village), so next time I'll use the Travelodge which is right next door

Lovely friendly staff. All worked very hard. Rooms were Spotlessly clean. Excellent value for money. Meals were very good. Very well presented , piping hot.The chef did an excellent job both at breakfast and evening meal. The serving staff were very good and also very friendly.

Excellent clean comfortable beds food lovely . Staff excellent especially sharon the manager always helpful not sure of new staff member name ? Fabio brilliant helpful kind works above and beyond .have stayed here three times now and will be back

I booked the hotel for 3 nights. Whilst I was there I received a number of small bites to my body so I checked out a day early. Asked for a manger and was told there wasnt one available. The restaurant staff were extremely rude and it took over 2 hours to receive my full evening meal on the first night. There was very little drink selection because they had not had a delivery. Room was noisy as was next to a main road. Avoid at all costs.

Everything about this hotel is amazing from the staff to the food to the room Premier Inn at its best.. Can't recommend this hotel enough probably the best Premier Inn stay I've ever had and I've stayed at quite a lot over the past few years Would stay at Chatham pier head next time I'm in the area for sure
