Roxi Residence Gent

The room was perfect fit. It has everything we needed for our trip. There was a small kitchen, but it was completely enough for cooking some small dinner or to have nice breakfast. There was a nice bathroom. The window was big. There were also curtains that perfectly blocked any lights during the night (not that there would be much) The location is also perfect- we were right in the center, so we were able to returning to hotel during our day easily (while exploring Ghent) There is also really easy check-in and check-out, we didn’t have to meet anyone :)

We spent 4 days/3 nights at the ROXI in Gent. ideally located, very central. Very good welcome from the moment we arrived and very helpful for leaving. The family room is very good for 2 adults and 2 children. We recommend it.

Room spacious but large. V low ceiling over bed. No wifi on 4th floor. Complained and was offered new room on 3rd floor. However at some point receptionist had enough of helping me and asked me to check out and leave hotel. Male receptionist then insisted on following me to room to ‘check it’ - As a single woman, I was v upset by this action. I then had to find new replacement hotel.

Location is perfect. Also the manager was very helpful when we had a wrong booking. Was suppose to book Gent but end up booking Brussels. Booking was a mistake since in their website and no option to choose location. But all were fixed by the manager. They send instructions on going in the building. No reception was avalable in my 2 nights of stay. Room is okay. Pretty clean and equiped. Now the problem is our 2 nights, it was so noisy in the morning. It starts at 5am. The walls are thin and window. We hear something pushing and pulling something on the street. Loading in a truck. It is really uncomfortable as we always woke up to the noise. We can also clearly hear the conversation in the other room. Making us wake up again. Overall, probably one of my worst stay in terms of comfortability.

Ideale ligging. Mooie studio die er bij aankomst heel net bij lag. Alles vlot bereikbaar te voet. De sleutel kaart werkt heel vlot en een heel sterke free wifi. Online-check-in en check out werkt heel vlot en gemakkelijk. Bij aankomst was er iemand aan de receptie en deze persoon was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam

Ik had wegens een dubbele boeking in kader van een event dat ik mee organiseerde een annulatie van een kamer bij ROXI Residence telefonisch aangevraagd. ROXI residence zei dat het restitueerbaar bedrag zou afhangen van de goede wil van de externe boekingswebsite. 100% terugbetaling was mogelijk, maar het was ook mogelijk dat ik een percentage niet zou terugkrijgen. Na afloop hebben ze me nooit meer iets laten weten. Na een herinneringsmail kreeg ik een erg onbeleefde email terug van ROXI residence, waarin gelogen werd dat er voorafgaandelijk duidelijk was gemaakt dat ik niets terugbetaald zou krijgen.
