Great location within walking distance of the main train station….since we were touring by train. Excellent and helpful staff. Our room and breakfast were very nice. Quite a bargain for a room in Switzerland. Cannot think of one negative thing about our stay…..we would choose this hotel again.

Wir blieben nur nach unserer Ankunft am Flughafen Genf zu entspannen, aber es erwies sich als das beste Hotel, das wir während unseres 9-Tage-Besuchs in der Schweiz geblieben haben. Ausgezeichnete Lage in der Nähe der Bahnhof (keine Notwendigkeit für Auto) und viele Restaurants in leichter Spazierweiterung. Sehr freundliches Personal, vor allem beim Frühstücksbuffet. Überraschend ruhiges Zimmer für eine solche besetzte Gegend in Genf.

Verbrachte hier 3 Nächte im heißen Juli 2022. Das Hotel befindet sich relativ zentral und ruhig gelegen. Die Busstation ist nur zwei Minuten entfernt, die UN 10 Minuten. Der Bahnhof 5 Minuten. Ein Aldi befindet sich um die Ecke. Zwei günstige Restaurants auch gleich nach der Busstation. Das Hotel ist natürlich sehr stark frequentiert. Bei den Preisen hätte ich mehr erwartet (Wasser im Zimmer usw.), aber Genf ist eben unglaublich teuer. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung, aber es gab kein Desinfektionsmittel und Masken wurden auch von niemandem getragen! Nach einiger Zeit war es auch nicht mehr so sauber und ordentlich am Buffet und auf den Tischen. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, ebenso das Bad. Nur die Klimaanlage hatte natürlich bei 38 Grad draußen arg zu kämpfen.

Very close to train station. Across main road and a minute walk. Lots around the hotel, Starbucks, McDonald’s, various restaurants and cafes. Coop small supermarket and other shops. Our room was very clean, cleaned every day. Simply furnished with modern fittings and a great shower, good towels, tv, kettle, tea/coffee bits. Everything you need. Breakfast is served on the 8th floor, with great views and was also immaculate though we didn’t have breakfast during our stay. 5 minutes walk to river. There was quite a bit of noise late at night in the area behind the hotel (car park and street) , our window was open and it didn’t bother us. I’m sure with windows closed the noise would be far less. Staff at reception were very friendly.

The hotel is right across the street from the main train station, making it easy to find and a good location for connecting with trains, trams, and buses. It's not easy, however, to find reaonably-priced places to eat or shop nearby (but that's also a problem in much of Geneva). We ended up taking a (15-minute) bus journey to France to buy canned drinks and shelf-stable snacks, etc. The price difference was truly worth that short trip, especially if you are staying for more than a few days. Hotel staff were professional and the room was obviously newly renovated. Our room opened onto the street and was on a lower floor of the building. We were grateful for both the automated blackout blinds and the multi-pane windows, which kept out light and street noise really well. However, we did hear guests and ringing telephones from the room beside us. The room itself was way too small for two people if you are staying more than a night or two, and there is no workspace in the room. The 1x2 foot piece of shelf that might be used as a desk also housed a phone and a coffee maker. There was literally no other solid, flat surface where you could pull a up a chair and work at a laptop or even an iPad. We also had to pay extra for having a second person in the room but I was never asked if the original booking was for one or two people, so that was an expensive surprise. In addition, my partner was told that there was a quiet, secluded office space he could use for a work-related video call but when he went to make that call he was told he had to use a large, open lounge area instead and his call was repeatedly interupted by loud guests. The worst thing about our room, however, was the ants. We found multiple ants in the bathroom immediately upon entering and then again every morning. We stayed for almost a week and one morning we found many ants at the other end of the room, after a backpack was accidentally left on the floor overnight. At no time did we have any opened food or food scraps in the room. We didn't report this because we knew the hotel was at capacity and that without the queen we would be higly unlikely to be bringing viable ants home with us. So we just kept killing the ones we saw and kept our belongings off the floor. I had read other reviews of this hotel before we arrived and was concerned by reports of theft. We didn't see any reason for security concerns but did think it was odd that there was no secondary privacy latch in the room. And finally, we were told that everything in the mini-bar was free to us to consume. There was exactly one bottle of beer and a very low quality piece of chocolate in that mini-bar, so it seemed a bit odd to be told about this ”convenience” when it was so minor in quantity or quality. We did appreciate having bottled water and coffee refreshed daily, however.

Wenn ich nach Genf reise, steige ich hier ab. Wunderbar geführtes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal, grossartigem Frühstück – hatte noch nie was zu beanstanden. Ich mag sehr, dass es noch eine Minibar gibt (keine Selbstverständlichkeit mehr, leider). Mit dem Bus sehr schnell und bequem am Bahnhof Cornavin, die Bushaltestelle liegt wenige Schritte vom Hotel entfernt.

Really bad smell in the room - when we raised it with staff they were dismissive and put the onus on us to deal with the problem. Apparently it was our fault for not coming down early enough to talk to them even though we told them we had an early booking for a coach that we couldn’t miss. On more than one occasion with more than one staff member, we were dismissed and spoken in an extremely rude and sarcastic tone. The smell was really bad that it made us feel sick. It was obvious that staff were talking and sniggering about us whilst we were there. We raised concerns with the manager before leaving who said he was sorry and that he would be open to offering a refund however when trying to chase this after we left we seem to receive no response. Absolutely terrible service - the only good thing is the location but there are other hotels in the area which I’m sure have more friendly and helpful staff who will actually make you feel welcome.

Das Hotel bietet einen sehr guten Service, saubere Zimmer, reichhaltiges Frühstück, guten Service, es liegt in der Nähe des Sees, der einzige Nachteil ist, dass es rund um das Hotel ************ und viele Betrunkene gibt Vor der Buchung wird nichts davon mitgeteilt. Sie sollten dies im Voraus mitteilen, damit Personen, die als Familie mit kleinen Kindern reisen, entscheiden können, ob dies die beste Option ist oder nicht.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, leicht zu finden schräg gegenüber vom Bahnhof (man muss sich das Hotel aber etwas kleiner vorstellen, nicht so groß wie das Bild so grandios ist) fußläufig zum Bahnhof, dort sind viele Restaurants und kleine Supermärkte sind auch sehr günstig zu kaufen, da der Transport in der Schweiz sehr bequem ist. Grundsätzlich können alle Fahrten mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln unternommen werden. Wenn Sie in Genf einchecken, erhalten Sie von jedem ein Transportticket. Während des Aufenthaltes können Sie direkt in den Bus einsteigen. Niemand kann das Ticket überprüfen. Die Rezeption im Hotel ist enthusiastischer. Der europäische Hotelzahlungsprozess ist ziemlich einfach. Es gibt keine Kaution. Ich habe es im obersten Stockwerk aufgestellt. Das Zimmer ist ordentlich und sauber wie auf dem Bild gezeigt. Die Toilette ist in Europa sehr groß, aber die Balken des Hauses sind gefährlicher und leichter zu klopfen. Insgesamt eignet sich das Hotel eher als Wahl

Das letzte Hotel in der Schweiz, der Preis ist relativ günstig, die Umgebung ist sehr gut, die Dekoration ist mein Lieblingsstil. Die Toilette und die Dusche sind getrennt und sehr benutzerfreundlich. Der Aufzug kann nur mit zwei Personen gefüllt werden und kann sich nicht übergeben, hat jedoch keinen Einfluss auf das Hotelerlebnis. In der Umgebung gibt es ein libanesisches Restaurant. Die Umgebung ist beliebt und schmeckt gut. Wenn Sie an diesem Ort wohnen, können Sie ~ probieren
