Harana Surf Resort

Nice welcoming with the fresh juice. The room is quite ok and the staff are attending very well. The food is nice and delicious too. The shower water pressure is less only and the rest no issue. Our first Surfing lesson start in here and the instructor are great too.

A beautiful resort with a beachy and homely vibe that will entice you to stay ‘just one more night’. Staff went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met and care deeply! The restaurant had delicious, authentic cuisine and catered to our dietary restrictions without complaint or issue. Jessica was an amazing manager and always checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Great location walking distance from Cloud Nine and a surf school that meets at the resort with incredible instructors!

I had a great stay at Harana Surf Resort and immediately felt welcome. The staff are all super friendly and always helpful, all my requests and wishes were answered and implemented immediately. The atmosphere is very familiar and I got to know great people. The dorm is nice and is cleaned every day, the single rooms are spacious and beautiful. The surf school is super organized with great surf instructors. Highly recommended and hope to be back soon, thanks for a great stay.

I had THE BEST time at Harana. I stayed in one of the villa dorms, it was probably one of the best dorms I’ve stayed in…and I’ve been travelling for 11 months. The staff were so friendly and lovely. I also did the surf lessons through Harana surf school - amazing school and instructors. I loved it so much il be coming back in a couple of weeks.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! terrible experience at Harana. I paid 50,000 pesos for the surf camp and was completely dissatisfied with it. The biggest advice I can give is: go somewhere else! The prices don't make sense compared to the rest of General Luna/Siargao. The restaurant food is decent and the service is slow. There is an extra charge for almost everything and the food included in the camp package (breakfast and lunch) has a very limited choice. The biggest disappointment was: it's not a camp! don't imagine a group of people doing activities together etc. It's literally a place where you sleep, eat and surf alone! The dormitory has no curtains, consequently no privacy at all! electricity comes and goes at night, so it can get hot. had ants in the bed but other then that it's a well kept place. Beware of the scam, many of the things they said were "included" were not. No photos/videos of the surfing (when I asked for explanations I was told that they are only taken at the last of the 5 lessons, but due to injury I was unable to do the last two). Same thing with the Surf Fit Training course ("it wasn't available" when I asked for information) and the non-existent "post surf analysis". Last but not least my return airport transfer was 1 hour late and I almost missed my flight, despite insisting at reception. if you guys want to surf in siargao, go to a nice hostel, and book private surf lessons, is going to be way cheaper and way better.

Awesome surf resort with ever so kind and helpful staff. I stayed in a community villa which was really spacious. Even though it’s a 12 bed dorm, it never felt crowded or noisy. Surf guides were really helpful and knowledgeable, there was a good selection of surfboards to rent. Restaurant serves great breakfast, and if you miss it because of surfing, you can get a takeaway box. Really good value resort with great vibes. I met some awesome people. Keep up a great work!
