"I've stayed at the Admiralty Inn a number of times in the past and usually the stay has been good. On a previous stay earlier in the year, and as I was packing to leave, there was a knock on the door saying 'Housekeeping'. The time was 9.40am (checkout is at 10am) and I just felt I was being pushed to leave. I let it slide at the time as i wasn't far off packed and ready to leave anyhow. However, on my most recent stay in May it was taken to a whole new level. Having in mind my previous experience, I decided to place the 'Do not disturb' sign on the door. My thinking being that this should mean that I wouldn't be disturbed until the 10am checkout. At 8.09am, yes I checked the time, the door to my room opened, no knock no warning, and the housekeeper is poking their head in the door. Whilst I was awake I was still in bed though, but what if I had just jumped out of the shower and no clothes on? The housekeeper did make a hasty retreat saying sorry but I just feel that's not good enough, especially as I had the 'Do not disturb' sign on the door and almost two hours prior to checkout. It makes me wonder if any one else has had a similar experience. When you book a motel room you do expect a reasonable level of privacy but I am now very hesitant to stay at the Admiralty Inn again as I feel I cannot be guaranteed any privacy at all. In saying all this, I was tempted to leave a poor or bad review, but I settled on average as the room itself was adequate for the price. All things considered I think my rating of average is more than fair."

"Wir hatten eine wunderbare Erfahrung, in diesem Motel zu bleiben! Das Eigentum wurde neu renoviert, und es zeigt wirklich. Alles war unspottbar sauber, mit schönen neuen Fliesen und frischem, komfortablem neuem Teppich in den Zimmern. Der Service war jedoch das Highlight unseres Aufenthalts. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und untergebracht. Sie erlaubten uns nach der Abreise unser Gepäck zu lagern, so dass wir an einer Graduierungszeremonie teilnehmen konnten, ohne unsere Taschen zu ziehen. Vielen Dank für Ihre Gastfreundschaftwe empfehlen diesen Ort sehr und würde sicherlich hier noch einmal bleiben!"

"Beautiful hotel Friendly reception staff Room beautifully presented I was surprised to find I had a turn down service Just two small thoughts The first I went to the bar for a drink before I went in for the night The lady who took me to a seat was lovely she said she’d be back to take an order from a very limited cocktail menu I sat and sat and sat with no one coming back I went to the bar to ask if I could order something only to be snapped at by the girl behind the bar who said I needed to wait until the order was taken I must say except for me there was only 1 other table with a celebration happening So it was quiet I walked out and went to the pub across the street and was enjoying my dark and stormy within two min from a lovely girl there I’m not sure if this bar/ restaurant is part of the hotel or someone renting the space but the bar staff need an attitude check I could see if she was busy no not even then I’ve been in client service my whole life I would not have spoken to a client rudely The other very small thing is the room needs bigger cups not the micro ones The young girl in the cafe in the morning was lovely"

It is a bit regrettable that the check-in time must be earlier. In addition, the address navigation does not seem to be accurate enough. There is no street light in this area after dark, which caused me to get lost by driving. I also knocked on the door of the manor next door frantically. Fortunately, the owner of that house did not come out and the dog did not bark at me 😱"
