Grano Apartments Gdańsk Nowa Motława Spa & Wellness

Die Lage, die Ausstattung und die Größe waren für eine vierköpfige Familie zufriedenstellend. Die Einrichtungen waren ausreichend für diejenigen von uns, die Frühstück brauchten.

The location is spot on and the free access to the pool was an added bonus, however we had a myriad of problems that slightly spoilt our stay. Firstly only one lift was operational for the first two days then when that one broke, we were told to wait up to 8 hours for it to be fixed. Upon return after 10 hours it was not working but we were told it was. There were shards of glass on the balcony and floor in the lounge as we arrived (not ideal with children!) and the promised "fully equipped kitchen" boiled down to a few shot glasses and plates. Incomplete cutlery for 4 people. Told to look for cutlery among sofa cushions when complained (none were found). No microwave. Tiny but functioning washing machine was a bonus. Beds lumpy and uncomfortable, slats under single beds not fixed so mattress sagged between slats as you slept. Only two cereal bowls throughout our stay despite asking for replenishing the supplies multiple times. We used the buffet breakfast one morning, an ok selection but not much for a young child, very adult-orientated menu. Dinner a-la-carte was a disaster with old fish and cold meals served. Disappointing but if there is nothing else available, I may need to stay there again in the future. Staff at the One hotel absolutely faultless, very helpful and polite from check in to check out.

Do not stay here please! This is filthy, I have attached pictures. Personnel here was so uninterested in the customer service that I decided to write a review here and on Google. Those disgusting insects ("lepisma", Google it.) crawling around all over the place.

Very clean, well decorated specious apartments. There is possibility to access the spa area, the only downsize is you need to pay towel rental fee. The location is fabulous its in the Old Town with easy access to many attraction and fantastic restaurants. We enjoyed our few days family stay and will be back in the future.

The apartment was very nice and a lot nicer than expected for price though that positive was dampened on the day we went to check out, gave the keys to the receptionist who called over security who prevented us leaving as they accused us of smoking on the balcony which we never. They produced us with a fine of £200 for smoking on balcony and made up damages where they had no knowledge of as we had only just left the apartment. They forced us to pay up or they’d call the police. Tbh I think this was just a way to make more money from tourists as the prices were such good value. The location is amazing and very close to many great restaurants and coffee shops but real shame about the last day So Smokers Beware!!!! You will be fined for smoking on the balcony even if you have not big scam take care if planning on visiting

Overall I had a good stay. The room and bathroom was spacious and nice, the walls was a bit thin though, I could hear the family in the next room. My room only had a fold-out sleeping couch, which was ok for just one person. It was a bit hard on one side, so I wouldn't recommend it for two people. Possible to walk inside the building to the spa and pool area. Nice pool, but it was crowded with families and children. Friendly staff. All in all I would say it was good value for the money.

The experience with Grano Nowa Motlawa Apartments was neither very exiting, nor very disappointing. These apartments are in a residential building. I think all apartments are owned by different owners who simply give their apartments for rent and administration to Grano hotel nearby. Thus there is no unified standard for all apartments and your stay will depend of which apartment you get. Our apartment didn't look like anything in photos. It was relatively small, modestly furnished, beds not the most comfy ones, since made of cheep materials some furniture already worn. On the positive side, apartment was clean and had all basics you would expect for a short stay. Breakfast, served in a hotel nearby, offered a fair choice and variety. Guests can also use pool and sauna in SPA next door to apartments free of charge. Although water in the showers of SPA was lukewarm at the best and pool are was a bit crowdy, we still enjoyed the opportunity to relax during our stay. Old town and marina are within a 10-15 minutes walking distance. Walking pedestrian path near the river in the dark time was not the most exciting experience (maybe because we stayed in the weekend and apart form several groups young men drinking alcohol on the bank of the river we met no other pedestrians), but otherwise the neighbourhood looked quite safe. Overall, if you don't look for a stay with served breakfast and don't intend to use pool and sauna, you may want to consider choosing other apartments around. However, if you want to add those options to your stay, it is a good choice for a fair price.

Nothing like the photos online. Pillow (just 1) is like a aeroplane one. Checked out after 1 night and went into the hotel side - much better . Breakfast was good as were the staff. Evening buffet ok but staff in evening sour.

We booked three apartments for 28th July. Five days before, we got emails saying due to "technical reasons" the two double bedroomed apartments were not available and we'd been downgraded but could have free breakfast as compensation. The single room was still OK apparently. I was suspicious so checked months into the future and no two bedroomed apartments were listed. It looks like they'd listed double bedroomed apartments they didn't have. We cancelled
