Since the house is elevated, there is an additional 1,500 sq ft of living space underneath complete with a large outdoor shower/changing room, a dry bar, a bench swing, life size Jenga, parking, a guest beach storage closet and a nice yard to play in. We are less than a 1 minute walk to the beach or a 10 second golf cart ride to the beach. There are slight beach views from the house through other raised homes. The Garden City Pier and Sam’s Corner is about a 5 minutes walk. Close enough to have fun but far enough to not hear the noise. This house is South of the Pier so it’s located in a nicer area without the busy traffic or noise from the hotels and condos on the north side of the pier. Being the third house from the beach helps to protect from strong winds, the heavy traffic on Waccamaw, and also brings the addition of sunset views. If you have kids this is the perfect centrally located beach rental with less traffic and ample outdoor space for the kids to play safely. Bring your fishing poles or rent them on Garden City Pier for some great fishing. Let the kids play in the arcade on a rainy day or grab some ice cream and walk the pier.
