I recently stayed at Lemongrass Hotels in Gandhinagar while visiting my son, who studies here, and I was extremely disappointed with the experience.
I had booked the hotel for two days, but the stay was ruined by their unprofessionalism and lack of basic amenities.
There was no proper hot water supply on the first day, and I couldn’t even take a shower. When I informed the staff, they suggested draining bucket loads of water before the hot water would come, but even after doing that, it didn’t work.
The same issue persisted on the second day, and when I raised this again, I was told that hot water is only available between 6:00 am to 10:00 am—something they never informed me of at the time of check-in.
When I expressed my dissatisfaction, the manager had the audacity to tell me, “Toh madam tame checkout kari lo” (then ma’am, you check out), instead of addressing the issue.
I travel almost every alternate months, but this level of arrogance and disregard for basic hospitality standards is shocking.
I immediately checked out, got my refund, and moved to another hotel.
I’m sharing this review to highlight the lack of professionalism, extremely arrogant behaviour and lack of courtesy at Lemongrass Hotels.
Strongly do not recommend!!
