From booking the villa almost a year ago to finally being able to visit in Dec 2023, our whole experience was amazing. Firstly a big thank you to Christophe and Diane who took their time to arrange everything we requested for both Christmas and New Years and made my Father's 75th birthday super special. Christophe and Diane were so accommodating and even arranged a video call with us ahead of our stay to ensure we were all set to go as it was a group of 8 of us and we had hired the whole villa! Approaching the villa itself is mind-blowing and you just realise that it is just as stunning as the pictures. As soon as we got there we were given a tour by Christophe himself and we got to meet all of the staff at the villa who became like our family over our 10 nights stay. Manju and his whole team are so friendly and couldn't do enough for all of us, we truly miss them all so much. The rooms are all amazing and have unique decor, each with an ensuite. The pool area is so peaceful and we spent a lot of time out here in each day just listening to the peacock which roamed around on the grounds and could also see the monkeys in the surrounding trees. One of my favourite spots had to be in the upstairs games room which has 2 swinging chairs where you could sit with your coffee and just listen to the surrounding nature (just felt so zen). We also made use of the gym which was definitely needed after all the delicious food we were eating each day. Christmas Day which was also the same day as our dad's 75th birthday was arranged so well. Christmas dinner was amazing and the fireworks and cake which were arranged ahead of our stay made the whole evening really special. Getting around from the villa to the nearby beaches and Galle was easy to arrange. We just had to let Manju know and he arranged for 3 Tuk Tuk's to take us around and these were very reasonably priced. He also arranged our day trip to Ella with a comfortable mini van which was a memorable trip for us all. Overall we cannot fault our stay and we would love to come back to the Divine. Our last day was emotional as we felt we were leaving family behind, Manju and team we truly miss you and thank you for everything you did for us and making our stay so special.

wir haben dort nach einer Woche Rundreise, sieben Tage baden angehängt. Der Strand ist einfach traumhaft, das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand. Die Zimmer sind sehr urig eingerichtet, Frühstück und alle weiteren Mahlzeiten werden direkt am Strand serviert. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen ist auch sehr lecker. In der Umgebung gibt es weitere Möglichkeiten eine schöne Zeit zu verbringen. Ich kann das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen, es war fantastisch

This guest house has a long history and is in a convenient position near the Flag Rock Bastion. The people who run it are so kind and I felt very much at home. I appreciated the air conditioning, wi-fi, included drinking water and tea and the washing line on the roof. The breakfast cost extra but was very good.

Die Mushin Villa als Hostel, aber auch als Paar Unterkunft mit dem Deluxe Einzelzimmer war genial. It was so nice there. The kitchen for the travelers too. We would give our recommendation for this place every time again. One thing more; one guy who works there, I think his name was Trauin, was very helpful and every time there, when we needed help. Thank you Trauin. We'll see each other again :)

Amangalle ist immer noch eine Ikone des asiatischen Grand Hotels. Aman hat das Hotel wunderbar renoviert und es erscheint im alten neuen Glanz. Wir hatten einen Veranda Room zum Garten hin. Die Veranda ist äußert gemütlich und wir haben einige sehr entspannte Abende dort verbracht. Der historische Spa ist einen Besuch wert. Der wunderbare Pool ist beschattet von Kokospalmen. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet und kann wie in allen Aman Resorts wann immer man will eingenommen werden. Das Personal und der Manager sind äußerst aufmerksam und feundlich. Eines unserer Lieblingshotels in Asien.

Ein unglaubliches Hotel auf unserer Reise. Durch Empfehlung unserer Gastgeberin im ersten Hotel sind wir darauf gekommen. Wir haben durch die Corona Situation auch sofort ein Zimmer-Upgrade bekommen. Wir waren in der Präsidenten Suit. Wir hatten schon einige besondere Zimmer im Laufe der Zeit aber keines war so luxuriös. Corona scheint dieses Hotel nichts auszumachen. Was man von vielen anderen Hotels (wir hatten 8 auf unserer Rundreise) nicht behaupten kann. Super Essen Super freundlicher und guter Service Super Sauber Super Zimmer Super schöne 3 Tage

The room given to me was very spacious, clean, well equipped and specially the toilet plus shower facility was commendable as it gives you an extra natural impression. Nipun, his wife, his mother and the girl who helps with the day-to-day work were all very attentive to take care of my requests and always available instantly. Easy access to beautiful beach, shops and restaurants. Even if one of the previous clients mentioned about the train track closeness and the noise, I found it's quiet and had a very good peaceful sleep during my stay of three nights. Had I had more days available, I'd have stayed more. I had the pleasure of having their home cooked tasty meals which was very nice and cheaper. They recommended me a very good reputed JLH Restaurant for lobsters and that was remarkable. All and all, I had a very pleasurable stay at Tamara Motels. Would not stay any other place when I'm in Hikkaduwa again.

Da unsere geplante Unterkunft kurzfristig doch nicht in Frage kam, fanden wir über Booking.com auf das Cozy Sea View Inn und ließen uns dort von unserem TukTukfahrer absetzten. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und konnten uns nach zwei besichtigten Zimmern für eines entscheiden. Wir entschieden uns für eines im Erdgeschoss mit kleiner Terasse. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, sauber, gut ausgestattet und roch sehr gut. Direkt neben unserem Zimmer befand sich ein Fitnessstudio, welches von den Hotelgästen mitbenutzt werden kann. Wir nahmen dies nicht in Anspruch, fanden die Möglichkeit dennoch toll. Der Manager Rajesh war sehr freundlich und bemüht. Als er mitbekam, dass wir weiter nach Unawatuna reisen wollen, bot uns, da einer seiner Fahrer sowieso in die Richtung müsse, uns mitzunehmen. Auch die Lage des Hotels, in einer Seitenstraße zur Hauptstraße war für uns optimal. Der Strand war in wenigen Gehminuten zu erreichen, als auch eine Riesen Auswahl an Restaurants und anderen Eibkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wir waren wirklich sehr froh über unseren spontanen Glücksgriff und kommen gerne wieder.

Nach Abschluss unserer wunderschönen Rundreise durch Sri Lanka hatten wir uns ein paar Tage in diesem Hotel erholen können. Es liegt direkt am Strand, ist recht familiär, und das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben - wetterbedingt- auch ausgiebig das Spa genossen, ein ganz großes Lob an Frau Priyadarshani! Sie ist sehr freundlich und kompetent. Strand und Meer sind wunderbar, so dass kleinere Schwächen in der Ausstattung des Hotels nicht so tragisch sind. Auch die Lage fernab von weiteren touristischen Hotspots trägt sehr zur Erholung im Anschluss an eine Rundreise bei. Jederzeit gerne wieder.
