Really enjoyed my stay at fort bazaar. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Due to the rainy weather down south I changed my plans to go to Tangalle and stay a couple of extra days at Fort Bazaar and enjoyed the spa and walking around Galle.
I was a solo traveler and felt safe and comfortable there.
Definitely somewhere I would consider to stay again

This hotel is located in the hustle and bustle of galle. Within walking distance of all shops, museums, forte etc. Beautiful hotel, roooms are stunning and they have a daily happy hour at 5pm where drinks at the bar are free. Food at the restaurants is a la carte. We had Bed and breakfast which was great. Staff are really friendly.

One of the best hotels we've stayed at. Service excellent, location good Food was superb the breaky was excellent. Eggs Benedict one of the best I've had Happy hour great and the bartender was brilliant Would not hesitate to go back if ever in Galle again Rooms are a decent size and with good decor Well recommended

Fort Bazaar is my third experience with Teardrop hotels. Like all hotels and villas at Teardrop, Fort Bazaar is the perfect blend of the historical Ceylon and the contemporary island. It is conveniently located in the heart of the Galle Fort with close access to the Fort's many attractions. Fort Bazaar itself is a prime example of the colonial architecture tastefully redecorated by Teardrop hotels. We booked two rooms and the staff at Fort Bazaar was thoughtful enough to give us two rooms that connected internally. It felt like a suite. The rooms were very spacious and the mini bar was complementary. The package included a complementary evening tea, alcohol and mocktails but to me, the most treasured experience was the guided tour round the Galle Fort. Special thanks to Mr. Tharanga Liayanage Arachchi who is a wealth of knowledge. He has a genuine interest in preserving this UNESCO heritage site for the future generations. Fort Bazaar is a probably a high end villa but do keep an eye for promotions. You wouldn't regret a penny spent.

What a lovely hotel. Relaxed, stylish, peaceful and really helpful staff. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. We especially liked the complementary afternoon tea and happy hour. Breakfast was a dream. Galle is lovely too- Should have stayed longer!

Charming colonial style throughout and we had a very comfortable room with everything one needs. The staff was extremely attentive. Tea time, cocktail hour, breakfast and dinner all really good and enjoyable. One highlight - and tip that should not be missed - is the early morning walking tour though town. We learned so much about the culture and people and architecture. It was amazing.

Very comfortable bed, very clean, lots of lovely touches like the free(!) happy hour between 5-6 pm, lovely inner courtyard, fantastic location, helpful staff, we wished we had stayed two nights not one. Breakfast was delicious and we had a good supper also - you can choose to sit in air conditioning or not.

Wonderful hotel in the centre of Galle Fort. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with air conditioning- all housed in a lovely old building. Happy hour is a fabulous addition to sample local cocktails and breakfast was delicious. The staff are incredibly welcoming and this was the perfect start to our holiday in Sri Lanka
