Hotels in der Nähe von Buddha Statue (Ahungalla), Galle

Nach Abschluss unserer wunderschönen Rundreise durch Sri Lanka hatten wir uns ein paar Tage in diesem Hotel erholen können. Es liegt direkt am Strand, ist recht familiär, und das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben - wetterbedingt- auch ausgiebig das Spa genossen, ein ganz großes Lob an Frau Priyadarshani! Sie ist sehr freundlich und kompetent. Strand und Meer sind wunderbar, so dass kleinere Schwächen in der Ausstattung des Hotels nicht so tragisch sind. Auch die Lage fernab von weiteren touristischen Hotspots trägt sehr zur Erholung im Anschluss an eine Rundreise bei. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Die Lage ist hervorragend!!! Der Strand im Hotel ist ”nicht-schwimmen”, aber mit einem chicn Blick und einem zwei-Step- (rechts) wunderschönen Schildkrötenstrand ohne Wellen .... Rechts in der Stadt Hickadouva, alle in der Nähe .. Cafés, Geschäfte. Personalfreundlich, auf allen Anfragen sind immer bereit, zu helfen und notwendigerweise mit einem Lächeln)))

Wir waren fast 3 Wochen im Suite Lanka und jeder Tag war ein Genuss! Das sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal ist immer zu Stelle. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und umfangreich. Auch die Speisekarte lässt fast keine Wünsche offen und so wundert es nicht, dass am Abend teilweise auch auswärtige Gäste im Restaurant essen kommen oder einen Drink zum traumhaften Sonnenuntergang geniessen. Besonders schön ist, dass das Hotel nur ca. 10-12 Zimmer hat, somit ist die persönliche Betreuung auf höchstem Level! Die Zimmer sind gross, schön eingerichtet und alle mit Blick auf das Meer. Die Internetverbindung ist sehr gut und auch die in Sri Lanka üblichen Stromausfälle sind dank eines eigenen Hotel-Notstromaggregat kein Problem. Sie werden jeden Tag perfekt gereinigt. Die Lage ist ruhig, weil am südlichen Ende des langen Strandes, wer mehr Action braucht, geht 10m dem Strand entlang, wo es mehr Touristen und Restaurants hat. Wir würden sofort wier kommen und können dem Hotelmangement nur die besten Noten geben!

Herzliches Welcome, sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Wir haben nach der Ankunft gegessen und waren alle begeistert. Der Mitarbeiter der Rezeption hat für unseren Sohn Medikamente in der Apotheke geholt und uns sehr bemüht und verständnisvoll weitergeholfen. Dafür vielen lieben Dank!! Das Hotel hat eine super Lage mitten im Geschehen von Galle.

This guest house has a long history and is in a convenient position near the Flag Rock Bastion. The people who run it are so kind and I felt very much at home. I appreciated the air conditioning, wi-fi, included drinking water and tea and the washing line on the roof. The breakfast cost extra but was very good.

Tucked in down Lighthouse Street within the fort at Galle you’ll find the Charleston, and what a find it is! It’s a modern boutique hotel with fantastic rooms and amazing bathrooms. And there’s even a pool! The staff were welcoming, helpful, and accommodating. Breakfast can be taken in the dining room or on the terrace overlooking the sea. It’s good and served from a small a la carte menu. The hotel decor is to an exceptionally high standard, reflecting the art deco theme, and it was immaculately clean. As an added bonus the first floor terrace faces west where you can enjoy the spectacular views of the sunset whilst sipping the hotel’s signature cocktails. If you’re looking to stay an exceedingly good hotel within the walls of Galle Fort, I’d highly recommend the Charleston

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit im Sergeant House. Das Essen war super lecker. Zum Frühstück gab es frische Früchte und eine gute Auswahl an Frühstückseiern oder Pancakes. Außerdem hatten wir mit Abendessen gebucht und es wurden immer mind. zwei Gänge serviert. Besonders die Gerichte mit Meeresfrüchten haben wir geliebt. Der Pool war sehr sauber und wir haben uns mit dem schönen Garten wie im Paradies gefühlt. Außerdem habe ich im Sergeant House meine beste Ayurveda Massage erhalten! Danke für den tollen Service.

From booking the villa almost a year ago to finally being able to visit in Dec 2023, our whole experience was amazing. Firstly a big thank you to Christophe and Diane who took their time to arrange everything we requested for both Christmas and New Years and made my Father's 75th birthday super special. Christophe and Diane were so accommodating and even arranged a video call with us ahead of our stay to ensure we were all set to go as it was a group of 8 of us and we had hired the whole villa! Approaching the villa itself is mind-blowing and you just realise that it is just as stunning as the pictures. As soon as we got there we were given a tour by Christophe himself and we got to meet all of the staff at the villa who became like our family over our 10 nights stay. Manju and his whole team are so friendly and couldn't do enough for all of us, we truly miss them all so much. The rooms are all amazing and have unique decor, each with an ensuite. The pool area is so peaceful and we spent a lot of time out here in each day just listening to the peacock which roamed around on the grounds and could also see the monkeys in the surrounding trees. One of my favourite spots had to be in the upstairs games room which has 2 swinging chairs where you could sit with your coffee and just listen to the surrounding nature (just felt so zen). We also made use of the gym which was definitely needed after all the delicious food we were eating each day. Christmas Day which was also the same day as our dad's 75th birthday was arranged so well. Christmas dinner was amazing and the fireworks and cake which were arranged ahead of our stay made the whole evening really special. Getting around from the villa to the nearby beaches and Galle was easy to arrange. We just had to let Manju know and he arranged for 3 Tuk Tuk's to take us around and these were very reasonably priced. He also arranged our day trip to Ella with a comfortable mini van which was a memorable trip for us all. Overall we cannot fault our stay and we would love to come back to the Divine. Our last day was emotional as we felt we were leaving family behind, Manju and team we truly miss you and thank you for everything you did for us and making our stay so special.
