From booking the villa almost a year ago to finally being able to visit in Dec 2023, our whole experience was amazing. Firstly a big thank you to Christophe and Diane who took their time to arrange everything we requested for both Christmas and New Years and made my Father's 75th birthday super special. Christophe and Diane were so accommodating and even arranged a video call with us ahead of our stay to ensure we were all set to go as it was a group of 8 of us and we had hired the whole villa! Approaching the villa itself is mind-blowing and you just realise that it is just as stunning as the pictures. As soon as we got there we were given a tour by Christophe himself and we got to meet all of the staff at the villa who became like our family over our 10 nights stay. Manju and his whole team are so friendly and couldn't do enough for all of us, we truly miss them all so much. The rooms are all amazing and have unique decor, each with an ensuite. The pool area is so peaceful and we spent a lot of time out here in each day just listening to the peacock which roamed around on the grounds and could also see the monkeys in the surrounding trees. One of my favourite spots had to be in the upstairs games room which has 2 swinging chairs where you could sit with your coffee and just listen to the surrounding nature (just felt so zen). We also made use of the gym which was definitely needed after all the delicious food we were eating each day. Christmas Day which was also the same day as our dad's 75th birthday was arranged so well. Christmas dinner was amazing and the fireworks and cake which were arranged ahead of our stay made the whole evening really special. Getting around from the villa to the nearby beaches and Galle was easy to arrange. We just had to let Manju know and he arranged for 3 Tuk Tuk's to take us around and these were very reasonably priced. He also arranged our day trip to Ella with a comfortable mini van which was a memorable trip for us all. Overall we cannot fault our stay and we would love to come back to the Divine. Our last day was emotional as we felt we were leaving family behind, Manju and team we truly miss you and thank you for everything you did for us and making our stay so special.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit im Sergeant House. Das Essen war super lecker. Zum Frühstück gab es frische Früchte und eine gute Auswahl an Frühstückseiern oder Pancakes. Außerdem hatten wir mit Abendessen gebucht und es wurden immer mind. zwei Gänge serviert. Besonders die Gerichte mit Meeresfrüchten haben wir geliebt. Der Pool war sehr sauber und wir haben uns mit dem schönen Garten wie im Paradies gefühlt. Außerdem habe ich im Sergeant House meine beste Ayurveda Massage erhalten! Danke für den tollen Service.

wir haben dort nach einer Woche Rundreise, sieben Tage baden angehängt. Der Strand ist einfach traumhaft, das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand. Die Zimmer sind sehr urig eingerichtet, Frühstück und alle weiteren Mahlzeiten werden direkt am Strand serviert. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen ist auch sehr lecker. In der Umgebung gibt es weitere Möglichkeiten eine schöne Zeit zu verbringen. Ich kann das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen, es war fantastisch

Die Hotelanlage ist sehr schön und sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, vor allem zu nennen sind: Miturshan, Mateeshs,Dimitri Boss,denet,okitha und seneth. Es ist auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert! Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Außerdem bietet das Hotel einen tollen Infinity Pool, von wo aus man wunderbar den Sonnenuntergang beobachten kann.

This guest house has a long history and is in a convenient position near the Flag Rock Bastion. The people who run it are so kind and I felt very much at home. I appreciated the air conditioning, wi-fi, included drinking water and tea and the washing line on the roof. The breakfast cost extra but was very good.

Die Veranda ist äußert gemütlich und wir haben einige sehr entspannte Abende dort verbracht. Der historische Spa ist einen Besuch wert. Der wunderbare Pool ist beschattet von Kokospalmen. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet und kann wie in allen Aman Resorts wann immer man will eingenommen werden. Das Personal und der Manager sind äußerst aufmerksam und feundlich. Ein unglaubliches Hotel auf unserer Reise. Durch Empfehlung unserer Gastgeberin im ersten Hotel sind wir darauf gekommen. Wir haben durch die Corona Situation auch sofort ein Zimmer-Upgrade bekommen. Wir waren in der Präsidenten Suit. Wir hatten schon einige besondere Zimmer im Laufe der Zeit aber keines war so luxuriös. Corona scheint dieses Hotel nichts auszumachen. The room given to me was very spacious, clean, well equipped and specially the toilet plus shower facility was commendable as it gives you an extra natural impression. Nipun, his wife, his mother and the girl who helps with the day-to-day work were all very attentive to take care of my requests and always available instantly. Easy access to beautiful beach, shops and restaurants. Even if one of the previous clients mentioned about the train track closeness and the noise, I found it's quiet and had a very good peaceful sleep during my stay of three nights. Had I had more days available, I'd have stayed more. I had the pleasure of having their home cooked tasty meals which was very nice and cheaper. They recommended me a very good reputed JLH Restaurant for lobsters and that was remarkable. All and all, I had a very pleasurable stay at Tamara Motels. Would not stay any other place when I'm in Hikkaduwa again.

Nach Abschluss unserer wunderschönen Rundreise durch Sri Lanka hatten wir uns ein paar Tage in diesem Hotel erholen können. Es liegt direkt am Strand, ist recht familiär, und das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben - wetterbedingt- auch ausgiebig das Spa genossen, ein ganz großes Lob an Frau Priyadarshani! Sie ist sehr freundlich und kompetent. Strand und Meer sind wunderbar, so dass kleinere Schwächen in der Ausstattung des Hotels nicht so tragisch sind. Auch die Lage fernab von weiteren touristischen Hotspots trägt sehr zur Erholung im Anschluss an eine Rundreise bei. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

GGastnutzerAgnus Unawatuna liegt ein wenig in den Hügeln, aber die Reise nach oben ist es wert. Der Ort ist ruhig und die Aussicht ist atemberaubend; Sie haben einen Blick von oben auf das Meer in seiner ganzen Pracht und können sogar die Aussicht auf das berühmte Galle Fort und den Leuchtturm aus der Ferne genießen. Der Service und die Annehmlichkeiten sind fantastisch und die Einrichtungen sind modern. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gut ausgestattet. Es war eine wunderbare Erfahrung und der perfekte Ort für einen persönlichen Rückzug! Ich würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, wenn ich die Chance habe, und habe diesen Ort bereits einigen Freunden empfohlen! Danke dir!

Das Frühstück war großartig, wir hatten 2 Mahlzeiten im Hotel eines Abends, die großartig waren und für uns einen Pool gesetzt, der wirklich wunderschön war Wir waren erstaunt mit unserem Aufenthalt . Das Personal war freundlich, hilfsbereit und die Villa in so schönem Zustand gehalten. GGuest UserDas Hotel liegt direkt am Meer, zum Teil etwas erhöht auf einem Felsen, und unser Zimmer hatte einen wunderschönen Ausblick durch die Palmen direkt auf das Wasser. Aufgrund der Felsplatten im Wasser kann man direkt vorm Hotel nicht schwimmen, sondern nur bis zur Hüfte ins Meer gehen. Aber der Strand, die Palmen und das Wasser hier sind einfach nur traumhaft. Die 2 Poolbereiche sind sehr schön. Von einem der beiden kann man auch direkt das Meer sehen. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und immer sauber. Da wir Halbpension gebucht hatten, konnten wir neben dem wahnsinnig leckeren und üppigen Frühstück auch jeden Abend das 4 Gänge Menü genießen. Alles war zudem wirklich toll angerichtet und man wurde sehr gut umsorgt! Sowohl im Hotel, am Pool als auch beim Essen waren alle super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch ein nettes Gespräch oder hilfreiche Informationen konnte man jederzeit bekommen. Die Nähe zu Galle bzw. Galle Fort mit guter Anbindung (man hat im Hotel selber nichts von der Straße davor mitbekommen!), das tolle Essen und der Strand sind einfach top Argumente für das Hotel. Unser wirklich einziger Kritikpunkt: Die unangekündigte Preiserhöhung um 30% auf Essen und Getränke an der Bar. Aufgrund der derzeitigen Wirtschaftslage absolut verständlich, aber eine Info vorab, dass die Preise auf der Karte nicht mehr korrekt sind, wäre doch wünschenswert gewesen. Trotzdem haben wir die Zeit sehr genossen!

Am nächsten Tag kamen beim Frühstück oft der Chef und der Kellner vorbei und fragten, ob sie gut essen und noch etwas hinzufügen könnten. Tatsächlich sollte das Frühstück in den Hotels, die gegessen wurden, sehr gut sein! Zuerst ein Teller mit lokalen Obstplatten, darunter Ananas, Banane, Wassermelone, Papaya, Mango usw., eine Tasse frischer Saft, dann das geröstete Brot und leckere Marmelade und Butter serviert. Dann kommen Sie mit Grundnahrungsmitteln, Brateiern, Wurst und Zwiebeln. Das ganze Hotel, das Zimmer ist nicht viel, aber sehr warm. Auf dem Eingangsflur können Sie auf dem Sofa sitzend die Wellen des blauen Indischen Ozeans des Indischen Ozeans genießen. Sie können den Wind vom Meer blasen und den romantischen Sonnenuntergang im Indischen Ozean genießen. The proximity to the iconic lighthouse and the beaches, just a short walk away, adds to the charm of the hotel. Starting the day with the wonderful breakfast options available was a delight. Moreover, the professionalism of the staff was commendable; they were attentive and ensured a seamless experience throughout my stay.
The combination of location, service, and comfort makes The Heritage Hotel a place I would gladly choose again for future visits to Galle.

8 of Us ladies visited Angel Beach for a stay over night and the night full board was magnificent. Two ladies were from overseas and they are frequent visitors to Sri Lanka from the US and Britain. ”Heshan” our server is a young 21 year old man with a permanent smile which we saw even the following day after a heavy night service in the hotel. The Bar attendants, room service , entrance greet from the receptionist was quite pleasing that made us feel home away from home. The ambience , the location of the hotel the concept of angels, is heavenly. The starters can be a little extra yet we continued to indulge in the food satisfactorily. Please look after the staff who are doing an excellent job following the Hotel Mission and Vision. Zimmer war geräumig mit modernen Möbeln und umfasste eine Minibar. Klimaanlage funktionierte perfekt. Das Bett war komfortabel. Das Badezimmer war geräumig. Warmwasser funktionierte perfekt. Moderne Einrichtungen auch. Grüne Villa war nahe allen Hauptattraktionen. Sehr empfohlen für einen ruhigen, ruhigen, komfortablen Aufenthalt in Unawatuna-Gebiet.

GGuest UserDa unsere geplante Unterkunft kurzfristig doch nicht in Frage kam, fanden wir über Booking.com auf das Cozy Sea View Inn und ließen uns dort von unserem TukTukfahrer absetzten. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und konnten uns nach zwei besichtigten Zimmern für eines entscheiden. Wir entschieden uns für eines im Erdgeschoss mit kleiner Terasse. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, sauber, gut ausgestattet und roch sehr gut. Direkt neben unserem Zimmer befand sich ein Fitnessstudio, welches von den Hotelgästen mitbenutzt werden kann. Wir nahmen dies nicht in Anspruch, fanden die Möglichkeit dennoch toll. Der Manager Rajesh war sehr freundlich und bemüht. Als er mitbekam, dass wir weiter nach Unawatuna reisen wollen, bot uns, da einer seiner Fahrer sowieso in die Richtung müsse, uns mitzunehmen. Auch die Lage des Hotels, in einer Seitenstraße zur Hauptstraße war für uns optimal. Der Strand war in wenigen Gehminuten zu erreichen, als auch eine Riesen Auswahl an Restaurants und anderen Eibkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wir waren wirklich sehr froh über unseren spontanen Glücksgriff und kommen gerne wieder.

Der Empfangsmann sagte, das Hotel sei voll, aber es war nicht der Fall, als wir mit Hausbetreuungspersonal geprüft haben. Zimmer - Die Zimmer sind ziemlich standardisierte 5-Sterne-Zimmer mit teilweisem Meerblick vom Zimmer, das wir geblieben haben. Service - Die Zimmerservice/Hauspflege war sehr schnell und effizient, aber der Service am Pool Restaurant war sehr dull und unwillkommen. F&B - Das Essen und der Service im Hauptrestaurant waren hervorragend. Das ist, was unsere guten Aussichten auf dieses Hotel gerettet hat. Der Manager war mehr als eifersüchtig, uns gut zu dienen. Pool - Der Pool ist sehr schön - sehr groß und gut gepflegt Strand- Der Strand war nichts Besonderes. Gesamt - Ein anständiges Hotel mit harten Nachbarn Wettbewerb.
