Wir nahmen ein Team von 30 Kindern auf ihrer ersten grenzüberschreitenden Rugbytour und Kailee und das Team war hervorragend. Wir reservierten das Hotel für 60 Personen zwischen Erwachsenen und Kindern und nichts war ein Problem. Das Hotel bietet ein Menü für Mittagessen und Abendessen, das sehr lecker war. Kailee organisierte auch eine stille Disco, die eine absolute Behandlung für nicht nur die Kinder, sondern auch die Eltern abgegeben hat. Die Zimmer waren sauber und geräumig, das Personal war freundlich, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist eine ideale Wahl, wenn Sie Melrose besuchen oder im Melrose RFC mit umfangreichen Parkmöglichkeiten hinter dem Hotel spielen. Großes Hotel mit außergewöhnlichem Personal. Unser U8s Team liebte es, in eine komplette schottische Brett mit Haggs zu fangen, bevor sie alle wichtigen Fixieren. Hoffentlich wieder.

Hotels waren großartig Service war fab und Essen in Restaurant großartig. Einzig das Versäumnis ist ein Jacuzzi im Spa. Unsere Reise wurde durch die Rezeption vernichtet, die uns zweimal für unsere Unterkunft kosten. Bereits über trip.com gezahlt und dann nach Hause, um das Hotel zu entdecken hatte auch direkt gezahlt. Trotz informieren Hotel von diesem Fehler am Tag der Abreise, eine Woche später und mehrere Tel-Anrufe haben wir noch nicht das Geld zurück auf unser Konto. Folglich werden wir nicht als sehr schlechte Kundenservice zurückkehren!

3x blokes, road cycling trip across Scotland. September 2023. Fantastic hotel, and exceptionally good value. Location is brilliant, lovely ride in along the marked Scottish C2C route, the hotel is right on the route so no detours. Staff excellent and friendly from start-to-finish. Checked our 3 bikes into the self-service secure storage. Enjoyed a great (well earned) 3 course dinner in the hotel restaurant, which had a great a**osphere and as mentioned, lovely staff. (There is also a great brewery tap next door if you fancy a change of scenery - we didn't manage to get further than that in the village!) Breakfast served early, first-class traditional Scottish - but plenty of other options. Unlimited coffee and juice, we were really happy. Rooms are good for the price, simple ”pub with rooms” style, remember. Everything needed for a stay of this type. It was very hot, but I still slept well. Highly recommended, we'd stay at Traquair Arms again without hesitation.

My husband and I recently stayed for an overnight at Cringletie as one leg of a 10 leg trip in Scotland. We also stayed for a night last year in August, near the end of a trip through the UK, Wales, and Scotland. We continue to be pleased with our experience at Cringletie. We've stayed at many other refined establishments in GB and feel fairly well versed in identifying special qualities at those places and we must say that Cringletie was exceptional among them. I think it's important to praise what is done well, so here we go: Cringletie is very clean throughout. Thank you. It's difficult to feel luxurious when there are splotches, stains, crumbs, huge marks on the walls, etc. Not only are the rooms clean at Cringletie, but the whole estate is well cared for and guests absolutely do notice that. Mr. Cross was the only owner/manager to have a presence and attempt any communication with guests at the many hotels we've stayed at. Beyond a lovely handwritten note (a fantastic touch) in the room, he also came to speak to us during dinner and greeted us on a morning walk on the lawns...even greeting my husband by name. The little things: no other house supplied homemade yummies in the room; it was only packaged store shortbreads. Having a fan in the room was also super important, thank you...especially during summer heat. The rooms had bottles of sparkling and still water and accoutrements for tea/coffee and some other treats. The woman at the front desk who helped wrap up our artwork purchase was very lovely and personable. She was funny and welcoming. Thank you to her - and sorry we bought the sheep art you loved so much! The dinner staff maintains the decorum one expects of the caliber of meal service offered. The young man who handled the bar and portions of our table service was pleasant and you could tell they were all actively taking care to provide refined service. The food was delightful as always. We have yet to finish all courses in the tasting menu (we had to throw in the towel last time, too!) but only because each course was so good that we ate every bite. The food was refined and delicious and, I believe, and was among the very best of every restaurant we dined at, regardless of how many rosettes they boasted. Similarly related to dining: Cringletie was the only place in our 10 leg trip to serve quality toast at breakfast. Every other house offered only bland packaged mass-produced bread. As someone who doesn't enjoy breakfast but who sits for it while on vacation for her husband's sake, something as trivial as toast quality does make an impression and adds to the pile of finer details that have a synergistic impact. The bedding is lovely - comfortable. Room had everything one would need. The artwork sprinkled in the house is great. Not only does it promote and support local artists but it is so much more authentic and aesthetic than looking at countless mass reproduction posters that have been slapped in a frame. We even e

Das war der perfekte Aufenthalt für mich und meinen Mann. Obwohl die b&b auf einem Bauernhof ist, ist es einfach zu finden, wo man von dem Zeichen auf der Hauptstraße gehen kann. Das Gebäude selbst ist so schön und Sheila und Peter konnten nicht freundlicher oder hilfreicher gewesen. Nichts war zu viel für sie Probleme - sie lieben eindeutig, was sie tun. Sie haben zwei kleine Hunde, die ich ein wenig besorgt war, weil ich ein wenig nervös bin, aber die Hunde sind klein, freundlich und keine Sorge. Das Zimmer selbst war geräumig, sauber und heimlich, genau wie angekündigt, mit schöner Aussicht auf den Garten. Wir hatten ein nebenanes Badezimmer, das auch sehr sauber und modern war. Die B&B war ein ruhiger und entspannender Ort für einen Aufenthalt, wo wir frei waren, zu kommen und zu gehen, wie wir für unseren Wochenendepause zufrieden waren. Ich denke, mein Lieblingsteil des Aufenthaltes war das Frühstück, es war aber lecker. Es gab eine gute Auswahl an Getreide/Saft für uns, um uns zu helfen, während das kochte Frühstück vorbereitet wurde. Das Frühstückszimmer war auch wirklich schön und heimlich, mit einem schönen Blick auf die Erdbeben. Ehrlich gesagt, konnte ich nicht fehlen unser Aufenthalt überhaupt und würde es nicht zögern, es an jemanden zu empfehlen, der einen ruhigen und entspannenden Aufenthalt irgendwo schön sucht.
