Fantastic place to stay. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the onsen was very enjoyable. Staff were polite and welcoming throughout our stay.
I particularly liked the welcome drinks area, which is open daily with some light snacks and drinks, including local wine. It is a nice place to relax after a full day out.
Dinner also comes with a curated main course, which was exceptionally good. My only small complaint is that the buffet selection for both breakfast and dinner was largely the same each day. By the third day, it started to feel quite repetitive.
One of my favourite parts of the hotel was the common area and outdoor space. There is a fireplace where you can buy marshmallows from the hotel shop and toast them over the fire — a great way to wind down at the end of the day. We visited during summer, so we also spent time outdoors playing with sparklers.
I can imagine the atmosphere being even better in winter, sitting indoors around the wood-burning fireplace after coming in from the cold.
Overall, a very enjoyable and memorable stay, especially for families or anyone looking for a relaxing base in Furano.
