My wife and I booked a single night stay. We stopped to drop off our luggage and pick up the “golf cart” we rented from Cas prior to the apartment cleaning being finished. When we returned later, we found the well-cleaned apartment to be perfect. It was nicely situated on a ridge with a view to both the west and east sides of Canouan with a pleasant breeze. It is nicely furnished and comfortable. We partially unpacked and went out for the remainder of the day, including eating dinner out in the early evening. When we returned at about 7:15 PM, we found Cas had just driven up. She informed us that the ferry we intended to take to St. Vincent in the morning had cancelled and we should pack quickly because there was an unscheduled car ferry leaving in 15 minutes from the port. While we quickly threw things in our bags, she called to confirm our suspicion that there were no seats available for flying out. She quickly drove us (5 minutes) to the ferry, where she got them to wait for 30 seconds as we ran on the boat with the door being closed. She found a hotel for us in St. Vincent and called us an hour later while on the ferry asking if we were agreeable. As we were, she made the reservations and found a driver to meet us at the St. Vincent port, informing us of her progress. While being driven in St. Vincent more than 2.5 hours after leaving Canouan, she called the driver to confirm that we were safely in his hands. What else can I say?
