"The customer service here is miles apart from the rest. It is the 5th or 6th hotel that I have stayed in inside the capital city Freetown since 2018. I was actually visiting to write a review for a different audience but was impressed enough to leave a review here too. To Mr KHALID, the hotel manager! You and your staff make the place what it is, from great personable service to a few ‘extras’ around when called upon to do so such as arranging express transportation within Freetown. It was nice to meet Siddiki and Janet. Must give special mention to the staff in the kitchen who called my room one morning when late for breakfast before they packed it all away and they can help you choose a sunny spot on the terrace too. It is a boutique hotel, not a large noisy place as in bigger hotels - you get a clean and quiet lobby area, a reasonable breakfast selection and delicious omelettes, very nicely-appointed rooms and washrooms and the nearby LAGOONDA nightclub is thrown in for free every club night (entry usually $20), as they’re connected. What’s not to love? I have also been to the LAGOONDA restaurant and ordered grilled fish which was ace - yum! - but that will be another review. What would I like to see change? - to have an area reserved for smoking away from the pool edge to give equal access to non-smokers - I once observed another guest who was sunbathing leave the pool area when another guest started smoking close to them…hey, let’s face it, if it was not possible to avoid smokers it could limit the enjoyment by all guests of the pool area and negatively impact the holiday mood."

"Das Hotel hat gute Seiten, aber das Manegement ist eher unflexibel. Ich hatte ein lautes Zimmer, ab und zu ging ein Alarm an. Wir haben spät ausgecheckt und einen Tag bezahlt. Das ist in Ordnung , ich hätte dann jedoch ein Abendessen als Kompensation für das Frühstück erwartet, bei dem hohen Zimmerpreis"

"Schönes Hotel, die Aussicht ist wunderschön, das Personal unglaublich! Die Zimmer sind sehr bequem, ich habe eine wundervolle Zeit im Country Lodge Hotel verbracht. "Die gesamte Hotelkultur ist „wir kümmern uns nicht um die Gäste“. Beispiele: -ersuchte den Empfänger, durch ihre Landlinie Nummer ein lokales Restaurant zu rufen, um zu untersuchen, ob sie offen oder geschlossen waren. Sie zeigten keine Bereitschaft, das zu tun und sie nicht. -Die Reinigungsfrau kam in mein Zimmer, während ich noch in der Innenstadt war und ohne meine Erlaubnis, um die Handtücher zu holen - fragte nach dem Fitnessraum, kein Personal schien zu wissen, wo es ist. Einmal, jemand schließlich, ließ mir dies erkennen, war das ganze Fitnessraum ohne Strom, völlig verlassen und aus dem Betrieb (siehe Foto) - überall meine Freunde lange Aufenthalt, nach einer Woche die Hotelpersonal mit den aggregierten Kosten gefreut und sie beschlossen, Blockieren Sie den Schlüssel ohne mit ihnen zu informieren/diskutieren die Situation."
