Terrible stay - Do not stay at this Hotel, it is not run properly. Here is my note to Guest Relations at Extended Stay. Nobody responded to my complaints, either via email or FB Messenger, after several tries. Another very bad sign, so here is my review on Social Media: My name is Terry, we just finished our stay at your hotel below, in Somerset, NJ. All I can say is, this was the one of the most miserable stays I have ever experienced in all of my travels. First, the hotel is unkempt and dirty. Second, upon check-in, we had to wait 5 mins for the front desk person to show up (behind your ugly Covid Plexiglass screen), who gave us our room key on the 3rd floor, only to open the door to a filthy, dirty, un cleaned room. We were in a hurry too, as my father had passed away, and we needed to shower and get dressed soon. I had called the Hotel ahead of time, to let them know we need our room ready, a little early check-in and to have things ready to go. No such thing happened. The room was disguising...Hardwood floors on the 3rd floor?? Who does that except for you guys. The room was musty and smelled. Carpets were filthy...No cups, the entire kitchen shelves were completely empty! Zero, nothing!..No extra cups, no coffee machine, 1 soap. The AC Temp was set to 64, room was freezing. I went downstairs in the evening to ask for a few things, like an extra plastic cups, since we wanted a cup of Tea. No one to be found...anywhere. The Mattress I slept in was horrible...I had a very poor night sleep, with Back Pain all next day, making my day terrible for my Dad's service. There is ZERO (0) hotel management in this place. No one around in the evening to assist. I have stayed in ESA's in other locations - nothing was this bad in other locations. I know help is short these days, but this was ridiculous.
