Hotels mit Frühstück in Fox-Gletscher

Der Gastgeber war willkommen und hat uns hilfreiche Informationen über lokale Wanderungen, Restaurants usw. Dieses Zimmer war von guter Größe mit schönen, sauberen Möbeln. Das King Size Bett war komfortabel und es gab zusätzliche Kissen und Kleider, wenn nötig. Ein supereffizienter Heizgerät war ein Bonus. Viel heißes Wasser und guter Druck. Der einzige (sehr kleine) negative war das Zimmer, das drei Menschen schlief, aber es gab nur Kleidung für zwei Menschen - dankbar hatten wir keine dritte Person! Ausgezeichnete Parkplätze direkt außerhalb der Einheit. Insgesamt empfehlen wir dieses Motel, und würden Sie sicher hier bleiben, wenn in der Gegend. Es ist nur auf der Hauptstraße, so schön und ruhig mit freundlichen Gastgebern und einfach zu gehen zu den lokalen Restaurants und der Hauptstraße für Gemüseartikel. (PS - Hoch empfehlen Betsey Jane für Abendessen - nur ein paar Türen von diesem Motel)

Liked · If the term ”Serentity” ever suited a location, it's the Mount Cook View Motel, the Motel's setting in Fox Glacier is at the base of Mount Cook. The Mount Cook View Motel is a one minute drive from the highway down a Dead End Road, so there is no passing traffic noise. The motel has a ranch/farm like setting in a unique leafy & grassy enviroment that leaves (not meant as a pun) you feeling at one with the environment & nature. The silence is almost deafening as you try & take in all the spectacular surroundings of snow capped peaks, clouds snagged on jagged mountain tops, in a spacious farmland retreat. Anyone trying to escape the hustle & bustle of the city, anyone who wants to write their own Tolstoy ”War & Peace” novel or just wants to escape from the kids for a quite weekend. Well this is the place for that. Fox Glacier town has restaurants, shops & stores, all that one needs for a weekend away with nature. We had a cabin type apartment, seperate bedroom, bathroom, kitchen & backyard patio with views you just have to experience to believe. All that & with parking at the door & an attached laundry next door. SENERITY NOW.

We stayed upstairs in a queen bed room in the main lodge. The room was large and well appointed. We were very comfortable and enjoyed all of the windows we could open to control the temperature. They offer a guided walk to see some glowworms in the forest nearby. It was a very fun walk, even though it was raining. It was a nice bonus. The facilities are somewhat minimal but we knew that going into it. We enjoyed making ourselves breakfast in the morning and talking to some of our fellow guests around the table. It was a different stay than the other hotels we used on our trip and we found it to be memorable and fun as a result.

Ich empfehle sehr, in Fox Glacier zu bleiben und weiß nicht, ob dies Ihre beste Option ist. Unser Zimmer war komfortabel und sehr gut gelegen in einem einfachen Spaziergang von allem aber das allgemeine Gefühl des Hotels ist gestohlen und ist unterbesetzt. Niemand war da, als wir am späten Nachmittag geprüft und als sie sich erschien, sprach sie nicht sehr gut Englisch. Nach 6:00 Uhr - es gibt KEINE, um zu helfen. Wir hatten zunächst ein Behinderungszugangsraum im ersten Stock vor der Straße, obwohl wir vor vielen offenen Türen von unbesetzten Zimmern gelaufen waren und das Hotel ein Freizeitzeichen hatte. Als ich einen Schalter beantragte, sagte sie zunächst nein, aber dann machte sie es funktionieren. Es ergab sich, dass ihr nur zwei Zwillinge in einem der vielen leeren Zimmer zusammenzubringen .... Die Parkplätze ist klein und es ist schwer zu manövrieren. Das Frühstück ist zwar enthalten, aber sehr grundlegende. Die gleiche Arbeitsstelle war jetzt in der Küche Kocheiern, während ihr anderer Kollege zurück und nachher versuchte, Kaffee, saubere Tische etc. zu füllen ....Unsere letzte Nacht, ein Bus kam in den gekrampften Parkplatz und, am nächsten Morgen, Es war so laut, als sie verließen. Es gibt einen großen komfortablen Sitzbereich, aber warum würden Sie es mit den Outdoors Ihre Ziel für kommen? :-)

Dieses Hotel ist sehr zufrieden mit dem Aufenthalt, es fühlt sich wie eine neue Dekoration ． Bett sehr komfortabel Auch sehr sauber ． Die Servicequalität ist auch hoch ． Es ist sehr spät, wenn ich am Abend im Hotel ankomme. Der Servicepersonal hilft, den Aufenthalt zu bearbeiten und uns zu helfen, den Wagen im Parkplatz zu parken ． Hilfe beim Gepäck ． Sehr gemütlich

Der männliche Empfangsmann, der uns begrüßte, war nicht besonders freundlich, und erst als wir ins erste Stockzimmer kamen, lesten wir über einen Gepäckservice. Das Zimmer war geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sauber, und andere Mitarbeiter, mit denen wir interagierten, waren freundlich. Aber das größte Problem ist, dass die Wände zwischen den Zimmern sind Papier dünn, so dass wir Menschen neben Türen hören kämpfen. Dies hat uns früh auf beiden Nächten geweckt, die wir geblieben haben. Wenn Sie bleiben - bringen Ohrschneider. Es gab eine Lounge mit einer Bar - die Bar war dauerhaft geschlossen, so dass es keinen Ort war, ein warmes oder kaltes Getränk zu bekommen, es sei denn, Sie gingen in einen Kaffee auf der Straße.

We stayed here for two nights and had issues with this place as follows: 1. Arriving at check in an elderly Chinese lady appeared at reception, dialled a number on her phone and pointed to it. I was connected with her son who’s somewhere else and did check in with him by phone….really ?? 2. The first room we were given had no wifi as it was so far away from reception. We asked to be moved, by phone again, and we provided with another room where the wifi worked. 3. The lid on the kettle was broken and fell off when filling. 4. The hot water pressure appears almost non existent and, in the mornings when everyone was showering, there was almost no water coming out of the shower and this morning I got up at 6am to shower early but still almost no pressure and took forever to get hot. 5. The bed was super springy and didn’t feel very much like quality at all. On the upside, there’s plenty of parking as very few people in the motel ( I wonder why ? ) and the motel is close to the Main Street of Fox Glacier. I always review our hotels on our trips and 99% of the time give glowing reviews but this place is having a lend at almost $200 Aud per night. No English speaking, no welcome, no facilities no water pressure and by the looks of it, no guests. You can do much better elsewhere

There is a saying, the location of the motel is very convenient, in the center of the town, from the attractions are very close to the car, the town is relatively quiet, all kinds of service facilities (gas station, convenience store, catering, etc.), the hotel has its own free parking lot in the hospital, the room is relatively clean, however, the TV viewing experience is very poor, the hotel basically does not have access to the real-time TV signal source, the channel does not seem to be a real-time signal source, it is estimated that it is to save money, there is no channel to buy from the TV operator
